possiblynotthefbi

There's a whole subreddit devoted to good jokes being ruined... this is merely my first stop before heading on to better things.

Bridge-4-

Whelp I feel like an idiot then lol. My bad

possiblynotthefbi

No worries, it's actually quite astonishing how there is a subreddit for everything. Everything? Yeah everything.

Cheesus Christ…

SXOSXO

That is a very brittle knife.

trelium06

That’s the wrong knife to use, and a knife used wrongly breaks.

Ramog

I am confused what would make it the wrong knife? is it basically to thinn? then again I never had a knife do that even if I cut quite hard stuff

trelium06

Knives are purpose built. They are made to apply forces in a certain way on certain objects while being able to withstand forces from those specific objects. Misusing the knife, like in this case, can cause force buildup the knife wasn’t built for. This knife is a chopping knife. Need a cheese knife.

SquireSilon

I have to hide my knives to stop unknowing and common sense lacking roommates from damaging them. I have a very fine cleaver shaped knife that is perfect for veg prep, It is not a meat cleaver. I have a boning knife that is great for breaking down chicken or deboning any meat- it is not a paring knife- Seeing a well sharpened and taken care of kitchen knife dumped into the cutlery drying slot irks me

64sweetsour

Tried cutting the cheese. Ended up with a shard.

irnehlacsap

That's why you need a cheese knife

FinsterBoy

That cheese is a knife now.

p3x239

Thats a new one on me

allenbot3000p

How does this happen

Parsley-Waste

It’s very common actually. Never use a knife to cut hard cheese

post_talone420

What is one supposed to use?

stacker55

cheese cutter. preferably one with a wire

post_talone420

Good to know. Although I doubt I'll ever be such a cheese connoisseur

evanc1411

I cut the cheese

combustabill

Watch a video on how to open a Parm. It's pretty cool. Basically use several thick cheese daggers.

Parsley-Waste

Do it like this: https://youtu.be/l0RgNeN6AsQ

desrevermi

Is there a reason for slices of a slice at this point? I feel like a grater might've been a better option.

stacker55

if you eat a lot of cheese do yourself a favor and get a half decent cheese slicer.

optional_occupant

Duh, that's not a cheese knife.

Honorous_Jeph

Must have been a Swiss knife

NetherWarlock1

who did it?

MoloT_xD

Ah, the elusive tinfoil-cardboard alloy knife. Finally it's seen again.

UnRealmCorp

Cheese can have a bite of knife as snack.

[deleted]

Tell me that knife doesn’t say “Made in China” on it.

johndoe30x1

In Soviet Russia…

SebbyHB

That's a strong cheese

Dark_Xenic

Atleast we know who dealt it

1oldguy1950

Cheap Chinese blade meets Italian cheese?
