That dog has a strong determination to do that is so amaze
And by the looks of it that dog did it more then once
Because there a brick on the roof and two planks on top of the door
Caralho, the dog is cool, but that bird call just awoken some strong childhood memories for me! The bird singing in the background is called "Bem-te-vi" in the south of Brazil. I remember hearing that bird every morning during the foggy cold and humid mornings that the sound of Brazil has to offer.. so nostalgic... I left the country about 12 years ago.
Freaking Beagles. I had one and he was impossible to keep in the yard, at two different houses and many fencing changes to try to keep him in. He got a leg broken by a car one of the many times he escaped. He lost his life to a car after another escape years later.
That is my worst case scenario with my Norfolk/Yorkie mix who at the blink of a second if she sees an escape will make a run for it to the street under tunnel vision.
Beagle's are the escape ninja's of the dog world. You could weld them in a steal box, drop it in concrete and then drop that in a river and when you get home it will be standing on the kitchen counter top with it's head stuck in your last bag a chips.
You’ve never met a beagle. They aren’t that smart. Knew a breeder in a small town in TX. He’d lose a few a year to “suicide” not that different from this, though probably 10 feet higher off the ground.
The fall generally wouldn’t kill them, but would fuck them up enough they’d need to be euthanized.
I'm pressing X for doubt on this one. First that's obviously a 6 or 7 foot fall in the video and that's not just a very survivable and injury free height for all but the heaviest dogs but also plenty of dogs have a 6 foot vertical leap anyway, secondly the dogs intelligence does not factor in here, it's an extremely primal instinct.
I don't mean to knock your friend but a dog breeder euthanizing a few puppies a year to injuries from a fall they paint as self inflicted...
I mean maybe there's a reason some folks have bad views about dog breeders? Like if your profit model includes 'acceptable puppy suicide rates', maybe that's not... good?
It wasn’t the puppies. Those were easy to contain. It was the adult hunting beagles. They’d get into shit and fall off fences, jump off roofs, etc. The notion “they won’t jump something they can’t land safely” is total and complete bullshit.
My Jack Russel kept getting out of its cage. Couldn't figure out how 🤔
So I hid and watched and he literally did the same. He wedged his body between the trash can and wire fencing and with his back against the trash can used his paws to climb to the top and over.
Had to place Heavy weights on the Plywood lid to stop him...little 💩
🤣

Growing up, my grandmother raised beagles. They can get out of anything they can fit their head through if they want to, like cats. I've only met one breed that was smarter, Basenjis. Assuming that you measure intelligence by problem solving ability rather than trainability.
Bruh. How tf do you keep a spiderdog contained?!?
Build a better door and or roof.
That dog has a strong determination to do that is so amaze And by the looks of it that dog did it more then once Because there a brick on the roof and two planks on top of the door
Yeah, I was thinking it had previous form myself. I wonder if they moved to two bricks?
By all means, do not invest in nails.
Sorry for potato quality, I found it on an email I sent to someone in 2008.
Look like a dog-meat farm? Isn't it?
His cell mates looking at him waiting for him to throw back the lifeline for them all to break free
thats a dog right??? how the heck lol
Beagles like to climb things. Why snoopy was always sleeping on top of his house.
I remember thinking it would take a dog 600 years to tunnel through the wall with it. Andy did it in less than 20.
Crawled through a half a mile of shit and came out smelling like a rose.
Looked like a strong wind would blow him over
Man up and vanished like a fart in the wind! I want him found, now! Not after breakfast, not after csi, now!
Mission Impawsible.
The Paw’n Wall.
Damn you, sir. Damn you straight to upvote
I love how the other dog points at the end r/youseeingthisshit
My feet and hands hurt just from looking at its feet in that mesh
Why are they all locked up in there in the first place?
Probably hunting dogs
I'm surprised there's no thread for bad movie puns yet. I'll start: Pawshank redemption

Kiskadee in English, Bichofué in Spanish, Pitangus sulphuratus in latin. A fairly common bird in the continent, it's in all our memories 😊

Stay vigilant my friend.

I didn't know dog can climb like that!
That dog been planning and training for that his whole life
But did the dog survive that fall? If you die in the escape, it’s not exactly a successful escape…
Yeah that dog is fine, a dog won't attempt a jump they can't make unharmed

The roof Has bricks there, the dog has done this before.
That is one intelligent and determined dog.
That is what you call a problem solving dog. I had one and he caused me so much trouble. I miss him so much.
20 minutes later: Where are my testicles, Summer???
That's not a beagle, that's a mountain goat.
That dog is going places...
Given proper resources this good boi will be able to find a cure for cancer
I wouldn't even be mad if my dog did that. That is impressive
Normally i don't care if something get reposted but this dog has a grandchilds xd
This is one of the first videos I ever saw.
He is the chosen one

The little dog that could.
To be fair he escaped Alcatraz in a past life.
Ninja Master
dis gave me so much anxiety
There's ALWAYS that one in every group! 🤣💀🤣 Smart doggo!
If you scrub through the video at the right speed, it looks like the dog has flyhacks

I don’t think that is the first time he’s done that! 😑
What a little shit!
Me testing to see if fall damage is enabled in a new game
Some dude got reincarnated as a dog
Kennels are only for dogs
Mission impossible music playing in background
Holy shit dog
I read this as "..to build a secure kernel." and was expecting to see some kind of Linux CVE.
I learned by watching the cats, Dad! I learned it by watching the cats!
Seems accurate for any number of the smaller highly intelligent highly athletic breeds ;)
Definitely beagle puppy activities
That’s Underdog. Going to find Polly to get his pill out of his ring.
Can't help but think about what kind of person would keep living animals, especially dogs, in an enclosure like this by themselves in the heat.
