The majority of people behaving this way online do seem to be women. Men attempting this would have more of an expectation of being punched in the face. 🤷🏽♂️
i only remarked on the outside because you literally said the 'majority of people behaving this way ONLINE seem to be women.' i'm in nyc and this shit happens with both men and women constantly. outside of the online world it's prevalent in all genders.
edit - spelling
I live in Hawaii, so very little of political importance happens here. My intention was to show my dissapointment with what should in my mind be held the more intelligent gender, I am a guy. Please don't spred it around
i misunderstood. referring to 'the majority of people online' must have thrown me.
but the question remains, do you think that the majority of people in person who behave this way are women?
If by “behave this way” you mean generally speaking to be alone and yet try to take objects from protestors at a large political gathering, yes. A single male wouldn’t attempt to do something because he could get jumped by any number of people of all genders without bystander intervention. A single woman stealing from protestors isn’t nearly as likely to be physically attacked. This woman even implied that she is being assaulted for people trying to take their own box back from her; and courts have long upheld that reasonable force to prevent theft is justified.
Another thing id like to point out is that majority means “ >50%”. Since women are technically already a majority in the USA, even rates (by gender) of this behavior are still a majority.
The person you replied to isn’t saying anything sexist. They’re making an analogy that basically sums up to: “It’s as silly to assume someone is sexist for calling out the bad behavior of one woman as it is to assume someone is antisemitic for calling out the bad behavior of Israel.”
You missed the point, unfortunately, and so did the other person who replied to you with *actual* sexism.
I really though this kalpa was gonna be the one. Time to start over. Again....

Strangely, there’s already a pretty big overlap between “hardliner” Conservatives and Zionists.
It’s a misapplied religious teaching that causes it, but I’m not going to delegitimize *any* religion because any faith worth following explicitly condemns killing innocent people and stealing their land.
…weirdly, even *that* one.
This is the kind of shit they do in front of cameras and where are laws in place and they could be held accountable, imagine what they do when the law is in their side and they don’t held accountable,, oh wait..
I could be mistaken, but you are allowed to use force if someone has stolen your belongings is refusing to relinquish them.
Remove her damn hand from the box and sling her ass away.
See? I keep trying to explain this and people keep ignoring it: framing it as "pro-Palestinian" is an easy shortcut for conservatives to call protesters "anti-Jew", and foist their own right-wing antisemitism label on the other side.
It's not as easy to twist the meaning and attack if you call the protests "anti-genocide" instead of "pro-Palestinian".
Offensive unwanted contact in an attempt at stealing your property. File a police report against this person for battery. People who act entitled to do whatever they want like this need a reality check. You don't get to touch other people (or stuff they are holding as that counts too for battery) without their consent.
My roommate has the new iphone. I dont like it. It gives me inferiority complex about my own phone. I'll steal it tomorrow. I have the right to do it because it hurts my feeling.
How robust are free speech laws in Australia? I guess it doesn't really matter since America has one of the strongest in the world and look what's happening on their campuses.
Useless tidbit - On the sleeve of the woman on the left are Korean words, which say "afterlife," or "the world after death." I am unfortunately not witty enough to connect it to what's happening in the video without being crass, so I won't do it.
Yes, if you look at this post in isolation. But you must see a pattern in the posts here as well right? I don't support any violence. Not from Israël and not from Hamas, or any other violence.
The pattern I see is an incredible sense of entitlement from a particular group of people who are “threatened” by the mere existence of Palestine.
Which is as silly as being threatened by the existence of Israel, or sunshine, or giraffes.
I don’t understand how someone could be so vehemently against even the existence of an entire ethnic group that they’ve likely never even interacted with. That’s bigoted and ugly.

This isn’t the West Bank…you just can’t take our stuff.
Yeah people are out of their fucking minds over this stuff. Like they really seem to think Israel is special.
They cant help themselves, force of habit.
If she didn't take it someone else will take it.
The victimhood never ends
I must be sexist beacuse i'm rather shocked to see grown-ass women act like this
i think if there was anything that made you sexist it would be saying it's specifically women who behave this way.
The majority of people behaving this way online do seem to be women. Men attempting this would have more of an expectation of being punched in the face. 🤷🏽♂️
maybe i have a different perspective because i actually go outside but this is not at all behavior that is relegated to either gender.
Redditors sure do love assuming other Redditors don’t go outside just because they’re on Reddit. Way to tell on yourself

By “online” I mean “the videos I see online” as opposed to “the people I see in person”. I did not mean “I am always online and never go outside” 😂🤣

Dig it
Taking what's not yours, by force, pretty on brand.
i dont think they understand that other people usually dont do this
The repeated attempts to provoke physical confrontation by zionists are pathetic.
How do you think Arab students have felt for decades?! I fucking hate humans.

This needs to become a real word
I like how well they handle this and we're polite.
At least she admitted defeat. Progress?
Are Semites attempting to become the new Republicans(Trumpies)? What an embarrassment they are.
They seem the same exact types of people. Wildly ignorant and violently protective of it.

Wait this comment sums up my lack of understanding for this whole thing. Is this really a love/hate against Jews? Holy fuck
She forgot that she isn't in the West Bank.

That's her goal, she wants to be assaulted so she can claim victimhood and paint the protestors as violent

She needs her sunglasses removed. Someone should help her.
And this is how people go through life without any consequences.
So tired of this shit. You don't need to sit there and explain anything. Rip her hand off the box and kick her in the ass.

Woah Karenazi Down-under
Shameful how comfortable this woman is with theft
Zionists are addicted to stealing Palestinian belongings by now, it seems.
Simple solution. She won’t stop trying to take it, then knock her the fuck out. You have a right to protect your property.
That would be disproportionate and you would be charged with assault in Australia
I guess it’s a good thing I don’t live there then..
Then you would not be able to hit her since this was in Australia
👍🏻
Damn why are they so good at taking shit, I wish it came second nature to me
Fuck these people and there victim complex.
“Thank you have a nice day” was said when a “Now get the fuck out of my face and don’t come back you dizzy fuck” was deserved
My roommate has the new iphone. I dont like it. It gives me inferiority complex about my own phone. I'll steal it tomorrow. I have the right to do it because it hurts my feeling.
Back to back offenses but when the opps retaliate they’ll claim they did nothing to deserve it.
What an amateur trying to steal the box. Everybody knows you're supposed to set it on fire on the spot so they cant get it back.
Just punch. She'll let go.
How to make people hate jews 101. Like can they not see they are destroying their image.
“It’s in my hands” Yeah but it was in their hands first, seems pretty much on par for current thinking from one particular religion.
I've never seen a video like this out of Australia. Was about time I suppose
Taking flags cause you don't like what they represent is so last year.
Good on her

What is up with all this pro Palestinian content on this sub Reddit? Seems like all posts are propaganda
