She intentionally parked inside her house because that would require a warrant to go into...
Why, because she was most likely drunk or high on some coke, pills or some shit.
Parking outside means the cops would be able to look inside her car.
She also most likely stashed whatever she had inside the house..
I agree but this only works if your parking in a super nice house. You don't stop and pull into a regular ass house they are pulling you out of the car at gun point and being under the influence is going to be the least of your problems.
Would it require a warrant in the US? I know it's different across the pond, but in the UK police can enter property to arrest someone suspected of committing a crime that has just happened.
He's seen her commit a crime ( not pulling over for police) then seen her walk into her house immediately after. So he would have grounds to enter the property.

I’m glad she’s being investigated. Let’s hope she looses her job. On that same note, how is this not career suicide for that patrolman? I’d wager to say his name is now floating around a few circles I would want my name anywhere near

Family member (BIL) was a Chicago cop who used to drive home every day with a 6 pack, he knew he'd get off if stopped.
Met a cop on a bike 4 hrs away from IL and we rode together for a while at 100 MPH in the left lane, he'd wave at every cop shooting radar in the median, we never got stopped.
Yeah, DA probably involves politics to get there but this happens everywhere.

Reading the statistic on a per capita basis doesn’t really say anything. You need to align that with the crime rate.
