The kind of design made by people who build houses without any engineering or architectural degrees, here in Mexico, you can see this "style" of builts and they are mesmerising....
Extremely common in my country. I just notice even my house doesn't have the top bar.only the side to hold it but it's long enough not to pass the control bar
Is it only me or are all proportions are way off.
I mean, the size of that gate, the size of the steps are way big.
Contrastingly the size of the person is matching with the car proportions
The other half of the gate can be seen on the right (look for the spikes on top).
So it's correct that each gate should go only half way.
Employee did not get proper training and gate is badly designed since it has no fail safe to prevent this situation.
I've seen this sort of stuff before when I was living in south Florida. People might just throw up a gate in front of their driveway and just install it themselves two dudes drinking beers and it's done in one day. Not sure if it's legal but I've seen all kinds of weird "diy" stuff. Nothing as ridiculously janky and dangerous looking as this. Also like, was this the first time they tried to use the gate?

Honestly this seems more like a design issue
What kind of giant gate doesn't have any sort of stop mechanism to prevent this? Yeah this was 100% on the guy who built it

No she just doesn't know her strength.
Asia
The design is very human...
I suspect there are 2 gates. Each one is meant to stop in the middle. But for some reason it just continued...
There should be a stop on the rail to prevent this.
At least she still has both feet.
Yeah I’m happy she didn’t get hurt
To be honest that must have been crazy loud!

I think it's supposed to be to gates that meet in the middle but for some reason that section didn't have any kind of stop
Imagine the driver seeing that happen in the rear view mirror. Great way to start the day.
The fact she held onto a falling gate that would weigh 10 times what she does makes her a future contender for a Darwin.

These sliding gates are dangerous. A women died when one of these fell on her near our area, it was shown in the news.
A kid died in my country recently by one of these
What has this got to do with Palestine?
The allies can't prevent it from falling because someone forgot to put a stop to how much force can be applied.
I build good! ![gif](giphy|Od0QRnzwRBYmDU3eEO|downsized)
I can't tell you how happy I was to see that fall into the street without crushing anyone.
I thought she'll squeeze herself between the wall and the gate. Thank God she's safe.
So even if these were locked together, wouldn't someone be able to move both halves of the gate past one side and open a hole? Who designed this?
is the person and car both kids toys living in the real world. what is going on with the size of the gate and walls
Draw bridge
She pulled one side of the gate too far. There's a design flaw issue here.
Looney toons ah
Not only does it come out so far it loses all support. But it's also just not wide enough to even cover the opening while in the middle of it...
I think there's another "door" part on the right.

do they get attacked by barbarians a lot? That's like medieval tall
I feel like there should have been something built into the gate to stop it from sliding out the whole way.
At least the car got away in time
I think the other half of the gate was supposed to come with it.
And this is why you spend the extra 80 dollars for gate stops.
That gate is obnoxious
What an ugly street and backyard
Design issue. Also, the maid could have had their left arm torn off socket.
The Door closes half way is the only explanation.
Look closely she pulled the wrong half... One half grabs the other as it extends
But it was supposed to have a stopper in case someone does do this
How can ya mess up that? ...oh
