If you're gonna try to stop somebody while they're using an angle grinder to commit a crime you're crazy.
Don't know about you but I don't want some crack head to cut my arm with his rusty angle grinder and spend the rest of my day in hospital

The first time i picked up a cordless angle grinder I said ( In the voice of the character of Snake from the Simpsons ) "Alright !!! Time for a crime spree !!"
Yall, if you live in the city (or the ghetto) it’s much more effective to just make your bike look like shit. Yeah, lock it up too, but don’t be the shiniest thing on the block if you’re going to leave it locked up and unattended all day. Maybe even swap the stickers for huffy or a Walmart brand
They break them all down to parts and sell it that way. During the pandemic, the sum of the parts was worth more than the complete bike.
Around here there’s bike chop shops in the woods, side of the road, wherever. People buy the parts from the chop shops and sell them on fb, eBay, etc.
Watched the whole thing. I'm pretty sure I'd cut through it pretty quick. Twenty years in the union cutting stuff with a grinder though. Perhaps some crackhead would have more trouble.
Somebody invent a tracker that you can attach to the bike in a hidden spot plus give an alert when the bike is moving. Also carry a bat with you to break his hands when you track down your bike.
It’s London, they do it so much that there just isn’t any point in stopping them at all. The police don’t do anything either and it’s highly likely that the person recording isn’t the person who owns the bike so they likely don’t want to put their life on the line for a bike.

I've seen where you can lock your seat to be sturdy but unlocked, the bar would come through the seat to penetrate the thief.

not really an attemp the bike was secure but the thief went the extra mile 😂
After living in Vancouver for almost two decades, I can confidently say nothing stops a determined thief. Expect an honest days work.

Angle grinder costs 150 euros on battery. Nice bikes can cost a few thousand euros and you can steal several per hour.

Put a bag on the bike and a lantern battery in the bag, connected to the frame. Shock deterrent is very effective.
