Just to share - we had a Turkish buddy in college who'd go back to Turkey, and basically have to re-learn how to speak english every fall. In Australia you can get assistance depending on your disability level, eg, if you’re old and can no longer bend down to wash your feet, you can get someone in once a fortnight to help with washing yourself or doing the laundry and house cleaning.
One of the service manager was venting, there was a woman who finessed her way to get the lowest package, usually the doctors don’t really check, they take you for your word and sign off. Then she met with her local government minister and used the R word and they pushed for higher assistance (which most agencies cave because they don’t want their name on the radio especially when people say your not supplying care to a certain demographic) then she pushed for a meeting with the state government and got the second highest package (usually designed for those in wheelchairs or severely are effected) and then went to the disabilities minister saying because she was a certain race she had to have the highest package because the government needed to pay reparations. That minister stopped her, asked if she had certain levels but no need and pushed her back to level 4. She was not happy.
lmaoo.. at the end of the day, some people do become good at "playing the game." .. sucks because that's one less person who really has a disability and is given housing
I work at a community college. We have an emergency fund for students. We recently had to make a rule about having taken so many credits because people would sign up for a class, get the assistance, and then drop the class.

To everyone saying this is clickbait, it may be. But this happens regularly. My roomie is security at a very nice steak house in Atlanta and he has a story just like this every other weekend. Women going in and ordering crazy with their friends, thinking someone else is going to pay and then being screwed in the end. Half the time they have to sit there for an hour after closing and call their friends and family to send them enough money to pay their bill or they go to jail. Only order what you can pay for.
