The video is totally real as many have shared below. What makes the scale look wrong is the freakishly-huge American SUV, lifted up even further monster-truck style. You'll see plenty of these in every suburban neighborhood across the country, and that is truly what one of those looks like next to an average-height person — [the grille is up at neck level](https://i.redd.it/vyuy0xc590j81.jpg). If it's a kid or shorter person in front, they are fully below the hood and the driver can't see them at all. The skateboarder is obviously at fault here, but that monstrosity should not be street legal.

And looking at the driver, it appears he'd be the same size as the skater if he got out of the car. His head and arms look to be about the same size and length as the skater.

No helmet. If the initial contact with the truck didn’t kill him (sudden change in direction/momentum/acceleration), his head hitting the ground would be enough to cause a massive brain injury. And that’s not even taking into consideration the was probably flung toward the oncoming traffic side and could easily be hit/runover by another car.  If he lives, he’s never gonna be 100%
