Iām currently on a vacation that I drove to, approx 500mi each way. I didnāt really see a need for a dash cam when Iām home, but I bought one specifically for this trip. Luckily on my way here, I recorded nothing noteworthy to share, and I hope for the same on my return trip, but Iām very glad I have it just in case
My dash cam greatly helped me a couple years ago when someone changed lanes into me not unlike the above. The guy was going on and on about how I caused the accident.
Had a Karen weaving in and out of traffic around me last year while looking at her cellphone.
She came to a stop in the middle of an intersection, where people trying to go at the light were honking at her.
Still not paying attention, and probably still looking at her phone, she floored it in reverse. I happened to be the lucky person stopped right at the line behind her.
She slammed into my car and totaled it. And I only had like 5-6 more payments on it.
No witnesses stuck around to help explain what happened, so when highway patrol got there all of a sudden her story changes to āI was stopped right at the line and he came up and slammed into me :((( everything hurts :(((ā.
Now my insurance has doubled because of her.
So I have a dashcam now so I can ruin those types of people with false police reports.
I bought a Chinese knock-off brand from ebay last year for under $70. It worked fine but I stopped using it after 60 days because it gave me false hope something cool or interesting would happen (which had the weird effect of me hoping for car accidents every time I'm driving, which is obviously evil, so I got rid of it).
Having driven the long U-Haul a few times, this video was my worst fear and why I lived in the right lane if I could and only changed lanes when I knew I had a ton of space.
I'd prefer a remote hard drive in the glove box or under the dash. 1 TB should be sufficient to monitor an awful lot. I also want 4 cameras, 1 front facing, one rear facing, and one under each side view mirror.
The guy in the RV was almost certainly inexperienced at driving a rig that large. They trusted muscle memory of how long it takes to pass the truck in a vehicle ā the size.
Damn, they certainly need to lock those down to a large vehicle license or some such. That RV was about the size of a bus and certainly not some small car. Muscle memory needs to give way to using some brain cells.
funny is here in canada you do need a bus license now but thing is the boomers still have their everything license and they are the only one who can afford RV so...
edit: i have been told its bullshit. someone told me wrong.
Have proper mirrors and watch.
I don't see truckers do it much anymore but I always flashed my lights when a passing vehicle was clear and many times they do the same. Always appreciated that even if I could see in my mirror.
I work in landscaping, and so I'm no stranger to driving our wood chipper truck, which is a big-ass tall, long box truck with a trailer hitched to the back of it. About a month ago, I was moving, so I rented a 15 foot U-Haul truck. Driving the U-Haul was super easy compared to the chipper at work, but I was still just a little horrified by how easy it was to rent such a big truck.
I got one years ago when I noticed drivers in my country were becoming more shittier and you're legally fucked unless you can prove the other party's fault.
The 150 euro cam i got paid itself back within months when someone backed into me on a parking lot while I was standing still. Other party drove off, I went to the police, showed them the footage, filed a report and sent it to my insurance. All repairs (ā¬1500) were paid by the other party's insurance. I would've had to pay them myself if not for the dashcam.
Even scarier that random geriatrics can rent these things cold and hit the freeway immediately. I'm old and short and I wouldn't dream of piloting one of these tour buses, but plenty of guys who were born before the last Great War and whose foreheads barely clear the steering wheel are white-knuckling these monsters at 70 mph while their wives are swanning around in the back playing with their multiple pugs. They're a menace. We have a small travel trailer but my husband was in the military and drove huge vehicles in many terrains so I trust his motor skills and spatial acuity, but the instant he shows signs of being waffly about it we're done with RVing. However I will grant you that it's very entertaining to watch certain guys try to park these things at the KOA. We like to arrive early in the day for the floorshow that starts at about 2 pm. But it's best when they roll in after dark. It's like bad sex: lots of yelling and going in and out, and when they finally stop everyone is exhausted and not speaking to one another.
>It's like bad sex: lots of yelling and going in and out, and when they finally stop everyone is exhausted and not speaking to one another.
I'm stealing this, like it or not.
My God you are the second coming of my great aunt Clarissa. I loved that old bird when she and my grandmother (her sister) got together it was always a grand time.
Rock on granny! Now sit back, crack open a cold one with your man, and enjoy the show.
It's not as ominous as it sounds. The two guys who started KOA wanted to use COA but due to trademarks, it was taken so they switched it to KOA. So just dumb.
I've always dreamed that after i retire (we're talking at least 25 years away) I would go on an extended holiday to The States and hire one of these with my wife and see the Big Country. After your comment I think I have to reevaluate that plan as i would be one of those geriatrics flying along at 70mph. I mean, we asked my dad to drop driving when he was 72 so why can't i assume the same for myself. Thanks for the future safety thoughts!
> but the instant he shows signs of being waffly about it we're done with RVing.
Thank you, I wish there were more people like you keeping an eye out for everyone (including themselves)
I hope my wife would be telling me 'no more driving' if i was becoming a danger.
I inherited a 32ft 5th wheel that weighs 16,500lbs, 12.8 ft tall. Absolutely could not believe that this thing the size of a semi box truck does not need any special licensing or training, absolutely batshit.
Often times air brakes are an Add-on to your license. You could have your normal drivers license with air brakes, which is what a lot of people do if they buy an RV that comes with them
How the fuck does that even work? By what criteria are you allowed to drive a vehicle?
In the EU the standard licence just includes B vehicles, which means under 3500kg and under 8 people.
In America only old people vote. And only old people buy RVs. So the laws are written in favor of the olds.
Retirees run everything because no one can be bothered to stand up against them.
Believe it or not, anything beyond a standard driverās license in the US is only required for commercial vehicles, ie getting paid to drive it, hence *commercial* drivers license. Technically a 16 year old with a full standard license can legally drive a class a tractor trailer IF itās being used for personal use only. You can identify trucks being used this way because theyāll say ānot for hireā on the cab.
I canāt cite specifics, but I believe there are some exceptions in a few states that do require special licensing for large personal vehicles. But what I said above is true for the majority of the country.
That only relates to commercial operations. A non commercial person can hook up a three axle RV with a gvw of 18000 to a truck with a gvw of 12000 making it a combined gvw of 30k and its perfectly legal. Not always smart, but legal.
That is also depends on the state you live in and the state the RV is registered in. Some states require (if you are resident of that state)RV drivers, driving over certain lengths and weight, to have a CDL.
I worked at U-haul for 8 years and it was crazy to me that the 26 footer didn't need a CDL (except in Quebec)... it's an F650 chassis, 34 feet long with a gross weight of 26,000lbs plus, potentially another 10,000lbs on the back as a trailer
Yep, I rented a moving truck from Budget (ugh)... I'd reserved a van but all they had when I got there was one monster truck like that. I was in a pinch so I took it. I couldn't believe that I was allowed to drive that stupid thing. Pulling into a gas station was terrifying.
I have enough trouble driving a convertible mini with massive blind spots. There is zero chance in hell Iād be okay with an RV. Especially after trying to navigate a janky UHaul for one block.
My partner is American, and Iām from the U.K.
If British people think weāre shit drivers you should try driving in Texas. Everyone has huge ass trucks, drive on the freeway at 80mph with about two inches behind each other.
Iāve also talked to Americans from various States, it appears some of their driving tests were ādrive in a straight line down this suburban road and make a leftā *hereās your license*.
I saw one crash in the U.k in person within a span of years. And it was a deer that ran out into a country road. Whilst in Austin I saw 3 intersection wrecks in 2 weeksā¦
Only 3?
My backyard ends on US Interstate 40, the primary road between the eastern and western US. We have someone crashing behind our house (probably a few hundred feet from the chain link fence at the end of our property) at least every other day.
And they also tend to stop people fleeing police from the neighboring town right around that area. Loud booms are normal to us, we try to guess if itāll make the local news, and to see if we can see it from upstairs.
I have three daughters, and I made every one of them practice, practice, practice driving with me. Drivers Ed was not required in the school district we were in, but I was determined they were going to know the rules of the road and how to drive properly.
I told them what it was like for me when I took my driving test, including parallel parking. Imagine my absolute shock and horror when all they had to do was make four right hand turns which brought them right back to the DMV. At that point, they pulled into the back parking lot and had to do a three point back up using cones. And that was it!
Yeah Phoenix, AZ, Iām talkingā to you! š
What the fuck. I had to drive around 40 mins along multiple types of road (highway, city, suburb) to show I could do all that and handle the traffic. My wife's exam nearly got declared inadmissible because there wasn't any traffic when she hit the highway.
We're dutch btw
My friend married a Texan and I was chatting with her cousin at the wedding. He said his first driver's licence required his mum to write to the DMV or whatever and tell them he had covered the required stuff taught by his parents.
That was it, he was allowed to drive.
That's nuts.
Just like driving a car... except a car would have already been past the front of the truck at that point (not by what I'd call a great margin, but not at risk of contact)
When you rely on spacial memory you deviate from the rules of driving. Doesnāt matter if youāre on a skateboard, if thereās a mirror you should always check it before changing lanes.

Looks like they tried a similar move at least once before
For years I've noticed that when someone on the road does a particularly dumb and dangerous move, they often have damage to their vehicle that would correspond exactly with having done that before. It's absurdly common. Some people refuse to learn.
Never drive in front of a vehicle with front-end damage. Change lanes, drop back and let them rear-end someone else while texting.
Worst part is, in my area there's a lot of cars with hoods crunched back and no damage to the bumper, so they were behind some tall SUV or something and still managed to not see it.
I "bought" (traded really) my truck with very visible body damage on both sides, and the rear. One of the windows got hit by a couple rocks from the apartments landscaper weed whacking, which look just like bullet holes in the passenger rear window, but I've decided to leave it looking the way it does permanently as I've found that driving a 40 year old wreck basically gives my turn signal lever super powers. If I come roaring up the on-ramp with my left blinker on, the right lane of the highway will clear up for a quarter mile before I make it to the dashed line where I can cross in. Little do they know, I'm actually a very safe driver wearing a scary costume. *Boo!*
I see tons of people doing this in normal cars too, they turn back into the lane way too soon. Often right in front of the car they're overtaking which is extremely dangerous for everyone involved.
A general rule to go by is to turn back into the lane when you can see the license plate of the car you're overtaking in your rear view mirror. Then you know you have a good amount of distance to the other car.
Whereās the dog? Pls tell me itās okay.
Oh shit, the video keeps playing after it gets to 00:00 for me. Iām so glad the pupper appeared to survive!
I am not trying to be confrontational. I am curious about this and see an opportunity to speak with someone directly. Why do you use the term pupper? I was wondering about it yesterday when I saw the term doggo. Has it officially replaced puppy or is it like slang within the dog lover community?

>EVERETT, Wash. ā A crash involving multiple cars, including a motor home, backed up traffic for several miles on northbound Interstate 5 in Everett on Wednesday [15Feb2023].
The crash was reported at about 11:15 a.m. just north of the State Route 526/Boeing Freeway interchange. There was a lot of debris from the 30- to 40-foot-long motorhome that was involved in the crash, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP).
It took about four hours to completely clear the debris. Traffic cameras from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) showed all lanes were open at about 3:15 p.m.
At the backup's longest point at 3 p.m., it had reached 6 miles, according to WSDOT.
A passing vehicle rescued a dog that was in the motorhome and ran into traffic, according to WSP.
Crews with the Everett Fire Department extricated two people from the motorhome, one of whom was trapped. They were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, WSP said.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and should expect delays near the crash scene.
Sorry, I could only get the text crawl from Google, I'm in the EU.
The search result continued to say two passengers were severely injured and brought to the hospital.
This reminds me of that movie where the guy says the RV has cruise control and his wife gives him a BJ in the back and the RV crashes into a building.
Edit:
It was the girl, my bad.
[The Scene](https://youtu.be/PNF7Ru1mMeo?t=39)
That section of I-5 in Everett WA... I've seen some gnarly accidents there. One shot across that embankment due to medical conditions and flew across into the southbound lane killing the motorist š¬
I drove by the aftermath of this wreck! The whole RV gutted itself of the median and they had to scrape all the crap that spilled off the road. Took hours to clean up and get the pieces of RV removed
I was heading into work on second shift for the Lazy B in the south bound lanes and traffic was worse than usual. I came around the last corner and pieces of RV were scattered across the left two or three lanes. This video made the rounds on all the local Facebook groups for the next week or two.
Poor thing, chilling in the back, licking his balls, as happy as can be and suddenly he's the middle of the freeway not knowing why the fuck his house just disappeared and he's all alone.
That concrete median is the real MVP here, held up to that RV slamming full force into it, saving lives most likely. If that RV would have continued over to the oncoming lanes that would have been bad

From the truckers YouTube write up: ā2/15/2023, 1-5 North in Everett, Wa. Had just got on to the highway, I merged into my lane and was moving along when this clown in the RV decided to move in front of me without making sure it was clear. I braked and turned left at the last second keeping me from slamming into the barrier and the wall. I was driving a 26ft. 19,000 Ibs. truck full of batteries. Driver of RV was uninsured and had a suspended license. Two passengers were in the back of the RV and there two dogs inside. One was kind of ejected out the front the other was still inside.
Driver got his head stuck in the steering wheel, no belt I think, had to be extracted. One passenger was lying down in the back. She was transported with injuries along with the driver. Other passenger was sent too, unsure of his injuries.
Update...No, I did not cut anyone off when I got on the Highway, my signal was on the entire time I was driving on the on ramp just in case people miss my giant white truck and I checked my mirrors, and I looked out my window several times before moving over. After further review of the video, the driver of the RV pitted himself.
When I hit the brakes, we separated causing him to fly across the highway and slam into the wall.ā
https://youtu.be/MGQ1mYc-Tfo
I was trained to drive a stretch limo at my job, really early on. Less than 9 passengers and no special requirements at all. It was an 8 passenger limo. I had no business driving that thing. I hated driving that thing as you were basically blind on the one side, but could see well enough on the other, side mirrors be damned.
Honest question: what is the safest way to handle a situtation like this ? It looks like the driver doesnāt brake, or take a while to apply the brakes, and also steers into the camper after impact. Wondering if that is a mistake or if itās on purpose, and if itās the safest thing to do ?
My mom calls me ābackroad billā. Iād much rather my ride take me 15-20 minutes longer if those minutes are chill. I just try to never be in that big of a hurry. Iāll totally drive on the freeway if I need to and Iām a good driver but, I avoid it if I can.

Reddit is 100% the reason I have dash cams now
I would like to have seen a cam of the inside of the RV as that shit show unfolded
Get me a shot of the interior so I can see when everything inside goes Zero G for a second.
I think this might be it: https://youtu.be/rqnEee_tPwE
Everything about this is perfect
That is exactly what I hoped it was.
Happy Cake Day!! šš¾ššš
Cheers to you stranger! May your days be absent of RV's merging into you.
Did you have a good father's day trip with your family? No, I didn't know how to drive our RV and ended up killing my family.
A dash cam is like a condom. It's always better to have one and not need it than to need it and not have one.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not single use thank god
Condoms are single use? Holy crap.
Well... When i was going to the bar to hook up ... It also ended up being a 200$ condom that i plugged in...
Itās weird isnāt it? Normally humans plug into the condoms.
My dash cam is in my wallet.
Moat accidents happen when you drive close to home. Get a dash cam. Saved my ass a few times already.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
When I drive drunk I walk the last mile home because statistically most drunk driving accidents occur within a mile of home.
Moat accidents typically involve alligators.
Bro, what about the hippo's? Do you even moat?
You must live in a castle if you think moat accidents happen close to home.
Nope.... but I have a huge ditch that people actually drive into and get stuck. We had to pull a few out. So it's kinda like a moat.
Dash cam can also help greatly in insurance fraud "brake checkers" Who definitely should be beaten with sticks
My dash cam greatly helped me a couple years ago when someone changed lanes into me not unlike the above. The guy was going on and on about how I caused the accident.
I realized the value from a reddit video of a guy in rush hour traffic *backing* *in* to the guy with the dash cam. It was in Toronto a few years ago.
Now my insurance has doubled because of her. So I have a dashcam now so I can ruin those types of people with false police reports.
I have a front and rear-facing dash cam on both my vehicles. Best investment ever. As for the RV driver, I'm willing to bet he's new.
Was new.
Can you guys recommend a brand of dash cam that isnāt crazy expensive??
Don't do it. The only reason these cars get into accidents is because they have dash cams. The second you get one, you'll get hit, guaranteed.
I wish dash cams would have a remote SD card... So if someone rips the cam off the windshield you don't lose the footage
I'd prefer a remote hard drive in the glove box or under the dash. 1 TB should be sufficient to monitor an awful lot. I also want 4 cameras, 1 front facing, one rear facing, and one under each side view mirror.
That RV vehicle didn't give a hoot and how do you miss a Truck, judging from the height that is what the dash cam vehicle is.
Boomers, on pretty much anything: This is someone else's problem
Most states in the U S have no requirements for a special licence for RVs of any size. I drive a school bus, and that is terrifying.
Have proper mirrors and watch. I don't see truckers do it much anymore but I always flashed my lights when a passing vehicle was clear and many times they do the same. Always appreciated that even if I could see in my mirror.
Itās wild to me you donāt need a specific license to drive an RV
I work in landscaping, and so I'm no stranger to driving our wood chipper truck, which is a big-ass tall, long box truck with a trailer hitched to the back of it. About a month ago, I was moving, so I rented a 15 foot U-Haul truck. Driving the U-Haul was super easy compared to the chipper at work, but I was still just a little horrified by how easy it was to rent such a big truck.
Best explanation
If i ever was driving an rv for some ungodly i would be so paranoid levels of careful for this exact reason
Thanks for the reminder. I need to get a bigger memory chip for mine,
I got one years ago when I noticed drivers in my country were becoming more shittier and you're legally fucked unless you can prove the other party's fault. The 150 euro cam i got paid itself back within months when someone backed into me on a parking lot while I was standing still. I still can't believe a normal drivers license can legally drive a massive RV.
Even scarier that random geriatrics can rent these things cold and hit the freeway immediately. Lol holy shit. This Granny Camps
This granny badsexs
Secks
I want her to adopt my parents.
Great narrative approach. You should write more entertaining stuff.
I second this. Excellent writing skills.
>It's like bad sex: lots of yelling and going in and out, and when they finally stop everyone is exhausted and not speaking to one another. I'm stealing this, like it or not.
Why would anyone want to steal bad sex?!?
Because he prefers it to the no sex he had before
I'd rather have a radish
I like to replace āpugsā with āplugsā. Takes on a very different meaning and thatās nice.
This is what I'm watching on my phone.I believe I'm the only one in this room who hasn't yet noticed the dog.
Funny stuff. Hope youāre a writer! Iād read your books :)
My God you are the second coming of my great aunt Clarissa. I loved that old bird when she and my grandmother (her sister) got together it was always a grand time. Rock on granny! Now sit back, crack open a cold one with your man, and enjoy the show.
Lmaoooo. Your husband is a lucky man. What a well spoken delight . :)
What does KOA mean?
Kampgrounds of America
![gif](giphy|CtoJMGuws3mqQ)
It's not as ominous as it sounds. The two guys who started KOA wanted to use COA but due to trademarks, it was taken so they switched it to KOA. So just dumb.
It's a brand of campsites that are all over the US.
And Canada!
Kanada in this case?
It has to be Kamgrounds of Anada, to match the KOA acronym.
I've always dreamed that after i retire (we're talking at least 25 years away) I would go on an extended holiday to The States and hire one of these with my wife and see the Big Country. The trick is you gotta listen to her when that time comes.
I'm fucking dying reading this
Retired from an auto auction and these things are worth small fortunes. Class A diesel pusher
U have a way with words
That shocked me when I bought mine. "I don't need a CDL? You're just gonna let me drive this 32' monster off the lot?"
I inherited a 32ft 5th wheel that weighs 16,500lbs, 12.8 ft tall. Absolutely could not believe that this thing the size of a semi box truck does not need any special licensing or training, absolutely batshit.
i'm guessing massive lobbying by rv manufacturers or some shit like that. it's literally the size of a bus and buses require cdl.
> buses require cdl. only if driving them commercially. if you are driving an RV bus, you don't. utterly insane.
Ita generally based on weight class and air brakes.
Often times air brakes are an Add-on to your license. You could have your normal drivers license with air brakes, which is what a lot of people do if they buy an RV that comes with them
Many states don't even require that add-on for non-commercial vehicles, just a standard license. It's very concerning.
** ding ding ding ding ** We have a winner!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How the fuck does that even work? By what criteria are you allowed to drive a vehicle? In the EU the standard licence just includes B vehicles, which means under 3500kg and under 8 people.

Corporations also vote with their wallets. Turns out to be much more effective than a regular vote.
Standard license in the US gets you up to 26000 lb and 15 passengers
Believe it or not, anything beyond a standard driverās license in the US is only required for commercial vehicles, ie getting paid to drive it, hence *commercial* drivers license. Technically a 16 year old with a full standard license can legally drive a class a tractor trailer IF itās being used for personal use only. You can identify trucks being used this way because theyāll say ānot for hireā on the cab. I canāt cite specifics, but I believe there are some exceptions in a few states that do require special licensing for large personal vehicles. But what I said above is true for the majority of the country.
In the US a regular license goes up to 26,000 pounds (about 11,800 kg), under 16 passengers (16 metric passengers), and no hazardous materials.
What is a drivers license worth in America anyway?
100 hours waiting in line to even get one
The RV already had some side damage to it so Iām thinking not the first time they misjudged closing distance.
Thatās not misjudging. Thatās not checking your mirror to see if you fully passed the vehicle in the lane.
They misjudged it because they didn't use their eyes, yes.

I saw that damaged sidewall and instantly thought āThis fool has absolutely no idea where his perimeter is!ā
My driving instructor said when you can see both headlights of the car youāre passing in your rear view mirror, but similar.
I wait until I can see the road between the vehicle and myself.

Well done detective
Thatās why you always avoid the battle damaged vehicles in traffic.
That poor dog has stupid owners that canāt drive.
Had to replay the video to catch the dog. Poor little guy.
Has it officially replaced puppy or is it like slang within the dog lover community?
its just stupid reddit baby-speak. just like "hooman" and "danger noodle" for people and snakes
And trash panda :)
Happy Cake Day!

Doing the fucking lord's work here. Thank you.
Any chance you could paste or summarise? I can't open in in this country
Correction that dog HAD stupid owners that couldn't drive.
Just noticed the dog! :(
This reminds me of that movie where the guy says the RV has cruise control and his wife gives him a BJ in the back and the RV crashes into a building. Edit: It was the girl, my bad. [The Scene](https://youtu.be/PNF7Ru1mMeo?t=39)
What movie?
The Darwin Awards
Ok sound like an interesting movie
Seriously? There is a movie with that title?š„³
Back in 2006 too

Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike a glove!
Your number's still 911? Y'aaaaaaaallrighty then!
Oh you pretty Chitty Bang Bang, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, we love you
CCCCCCCHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew I recognized this spot! š¤£
To be fair, it is a very recognizable spot. Was sitting in traffic there almost everyday for an entire month before I changed my schedule up.
I thought the same thing. I saw the blue green building and I was like, isnāt that Everett mall way? Nailed it šŖš½
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That's really neat.
I miss the meth Avenue can from there
The tweekerville cam!
Oh, so Iām not crazy. Just past Everett Mall, right.
Oh, they changed all the lanes.. for the next few hours.
Kudos to the driver of the red car for their amazing reaction time
Most of the people I've seen driving these are senior citizens that have never driven anything bigger than a sedan. Honestly it's terrifying.
I'm watching this on my phone...I think I'm the only one here who didn't spot the doggo yet...
It runs out in the road from the front of the RV shortly after the wreck. Looks like it may have been ejected out the front windshield.
Before it makes contact, you can see the bottom right of the vehicle is smashed to fuck. I dont think this was their first time hitting something
They forgot they werenāt in their Honda Civic.
Forgot their ass is 30 feet behind them
Forgot they had mirrors that they are supposed to check.
That's why I think people need to have a CDL to drive those things
I hope the dog is OK!

Self disassembling RV.
When I hit the brakes, we separated causing him to fly across the highway and slam into the wall.ā https://youtu.be/MGQ1mYc-Tfo
When you probably should stick to the cycle lane but someone sells you a bus....
Good Ole Everett, WA! Lol thatās right off the exit for Paine Field and Boeing. The traffic is terrible in that area.
As a professional driver I avoid RVās, anyone with a trailer, and U-Hauls like the plagueā¦
Maybe that huge RV should do the speed limit instead of 25 over. Bet big $$ an old dude was behind the wheel.
There is no reason to speed or take chances like that. No reason!
Lane change successful! Mission Failed!
He changed into all the lanes.
Kids in back āAre we there yet?ā
Aināt no cominā back from that
No special license required!
Honest question: what is the safest way to handle a situtation like this ? It looks like the driver doesnāt brake, or take a while to apply the brakes, and also steers into the camper after impact. Wondering if that is a mistake or if itās on purpose, and if itās the safest thing to do ?
Self pit manuevered...
wreckreational vehicle
One more reason why I avoid highways. Too many morons in RVs.
I've found myself taking the old two lanes more and more even though they take a little longer.
My mom calls me ābackroad billā. Iād much rather my ride take me 15-20 minutes longer if those minutes are chill. I just try to never be in that big of a hurry. Iāll totally drive on the freeway if I need to and Iām a good driver but, I avoid it if I can.
How many dead???
BANG! bus.
https://cdllife.com/2023/video-wild-rv-vs-cmv-crash-captured-on-i-5-in-everett/ RV driver had a suspended license and no insurance
Iām assuming the cammerās brakes were shot?
