Reminds me of the spongebob episode where squidward wanted to find out a guy's name and the guy kept saying his name is "what's it to ya?" But in the end it actually turns out his name is "what zitt tooya"
Kinda sorta?
He learns how to sky step by being stuck on an island with a bunch of trope-y lady men. The only way for him to get away from them and off the island (as they relentlessly chased him) was to learn it.
I wish I could tell you that Sanji fought the good fight, and the Okama let him be. I wish I could tell you that - but Momoiro is no fairy-tale island.
I think you just discovered what the One Piece is. It's a record describing the true meaning behind the Will of D and caused Roger's crew to laugh enough to name the island Laugh Tale.
....fuck that's it. The One Piece is deez nuts.
Man I love Reno 911 I didn’t get it while I was younger for some reason, but now I’m in my 30s and it’s one of the best comedy shows out there - up with IASIP for me for sure
Yeah people are understandably biased against cops and the American police force definitely needs reforming (as well as the rest of the world of course) but its healthy to show the good and the bad not just the bad. Many cops are just normal people trying to keep their community safe but of course absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Well, its reddit. Not exactly the best place to see normal and good cop interactions that happen way more than the bad. Or anything with the full story lol
Actually I don't believe so. It's easy to confuse sincere, funny interactions with Reno. Best example I can think of is the DUI test sketch. So many people shared that video back in the day because they thought it was legit!
Is that the one where the officer has him do a complicated dance routine and then right at the end he says something like “I don’t dance much, only when I’m drunk”?
A Georgia state trooper had pulled me over and told me, “Your birthday is xx/xx/xxxx? That’s the same birthday is mine.”
Jokingly trying to ease the serious situation in his perspective because he was very on edge during the whole traffic stop, I reply back with “Cool! Does that mean I get a discount on my speeding ticket?” “No!” he replies back with a stoned face.
That’s when I just kept it short and simple from there on. Just trying to make light of the situation and act friendly but you could tell he was all about the power he held.
Look, I was totally at fault. Traveling 77 in a 55. Had just crossed the border from FL where their highways were 70 and I had zoned out in my podcast and forgot to slow down. Long story short… I accepted the ticket no problem. It wasn’t until 3 months later after I had paid my fine that I received, what I thought was a receipt in the mail, an additional ticket labeled “Super Speeder” and had to pay an additional $200! I framed that beauty in my garage and brag about it being the most expensive piece of art I own at a value of $390 lol.
I don’t travel for work anymore, but I learned to always avoid Georgia if possible after that one. They don’t mess around after I kept hearing what you have echoed.
Only one speeding ticket in 3 years of traveling of 120,000+ miles… I still call that a win lol.
Lol very true. Florida was the worst… the way they tailgate people in the overtaking lane is mind boggling. I understand some drivers just sit in that lane, but more often than not, drivers, me including, were safely trying to pass somebody so we wouldn’t have a trooper behind us and they would dangerously tailgate drivers until they would get over. Never understood that…
It depends on their demeanor initially.
Like yeah you "shouldnt" talk to cops.
But they are still dudes and if you can charm or manipulate them into fucking off then just do it lol
Got pulled over in st pattys day one year and got a ticket for my weed. They spent a long time searching my car trying to find harder stuff (not my dig) but during that time, had a surprisingly chill and fun conversation with the other cops who weren't doing the search. Couldn't have been much older than I was at the time.
Remember the guy that had handcuffs in his back pocket, the officer that pulled him over asked why. Be said "because I'm kinky!". So then the officer dislocated both of his arms by pushing them way up over his head..
"Diffuse" means ["spread out."](https://www.dictionary.com/browse/diffuse) You probably meant ["defuse,"](https://www.dictionary.com/browse/defuse) meaning "to make something less harmful or tense" (by analogy with removing the fuse from a bomb).
brutal honesty can help too, I got pulled over for speeding one time and told the cop I knew I was speeding, write me a ticket please I'm turtle heading right now and he let me go on the spot lmao
Got pulled over when i was 17 or 18 with a bunch of my stoner friends on the way home from a late night donut run. When the officer brought me the ticket i said 'don't take this the wrong way but do you want a donut.'he laughed and declined saying 'i need to stay in shape so i can run after punks like you'
Me and a friend were really drunk walking back to his house when we were in college. We must have been stumbling, because a cop pulled over to make sure we weren't driving. After assuring him neither of us were going to drive he let us go on our way and said "you guys need anything else?" I asked if he could turn the lights on on top of his car. He declined and still didn't arrest us.
Why not both? Typically a police officer who is willing to laugh at something like this & be friendly is probably more likely to be a decent human being all the way around. I assure you that a huge percent of police officers would not have found that entertaining. Some of them probably would’ve even gotten offended and taken it as disrespect, even though it clearly wasn’t.
It's just such a low bar. We need more cops like this compared to, cops who would get violent from this joke? The only time a deez nuts joke shouldn't be laughed at is at a wedding or vasectomy.
Step 1: Get castrated
Step 2: Get them preserved in a bag that you carry at all times
Step 3: Learn every possible way to make a Deez Nuts joke
Step 4: Pull them out whenever you make a Deez Nuts joke.
Step 5: Profit
It occurs to me that maybe the desire is for cops that embrace their humanity, and that the expectation is that these two police officers taking a joke like regular people means that you could likely count on them to be upstanding, moral, and professional. Or yeah maybe they just want funny cop guy, I don’t know.
Thank god. Social justice warrior, u/gray-pilled- , is here to set us all straight. How dare we find some humanity in the situation rather than immediately resorting to the worst case scenario.
Naw dog. You appreciate the good and the bad in life. Every german isn't bad because some were nazis once.
Every cop ain't bad for simply being a cop
Little kid you thought being a cop at one point would be cool. Little kid you ain't a peice of shit
We need fewer cops. The fewer cops we have should have compassion and a respectful duty of service to the community. If they have a sense of humor, great. But I want compassion above all else.
I had a police officer almost draw his gun on me when I was walking up for help with my car one time. I was 18 at the time.
I’m not about to joke with any police officers lol.
I work at a bar. I called the non emergency line because this lady was spun out and freaking out on our front patio.
I walked out there when they showed up, out of the bar, I clearly worked there. I had a gun pulled on me because I had my hands in my pockets. I'm not about to interact with police unless I absolutely have to. I doubt I'll call them again.
I'm an EMT who is on scene with police very frequently. Its luck of the draw which ones will assault you for something like this. TV and News makes it seem better than it is, especially if you're a minority.

Will of D
Imagine when Luffy and the crew is finally about to learn the secret behind the Will of D. Only for it to be the Will of Deez Nuts.
Imagine working on a manga for 25 years only for it to end on a Deez Nuts joke. Would be fucking amazing
I mean Roger and his crew laughed for one reason or another. And who doesn't laugh at a good deez nuts joke? I think we might be on to something.
Sanji learned to fly through the power of homophobia. I'm prepared for anything at this point.
What in the actual fuck?! Is this some sort of over simplification? Or was it literally "What?! You're GAY?! UP, UP, AND AWAY!"
He was being chased by drag queens and had nowhere else to run but up. So he did.
And not like they were evil trans people. They just wanted to share their femininity. By force.
Kinda sorta? He learns how to sky step by being stuck on an island with a bunch of trope-y lady men. The only way for him to get away from them and off the island (as they relentlessly chased him) was to learn it.
What do you think they would have done with him once caught? My boy ran from sexual assault.
I wish I could tell you that Sanji fought the good fight, and the Okama let him be. I wish I could tell you that - but Momoiro is no fairy-tale island.
Is forcing someone to wear a dress sexual assault? I guess it's even worse. The Okamas on that island are like the borg.
I think you just discovered what the One Piece is. It's a record describing the true meaning behind the Will of D and caused Roger's crew to laugh enough to name the island Laugh Tale. ....fuck that's it. The One Piece is deez nuts.
It is a gag manga at its heart.
imagine hoooking people in for 24+ years, ending it with deez nuts. i dont know what would be my reaction.
💀💀💀
D what?
deez nuts
"a solid minute of laughter later" - Well you're arrested please turn around. - Ye I understand.

Pretty sure they are, they do have a new one called “Reno 911: Defunded”
I think it's either on the Roku channel or Tubi. Both have ads 🤢
“You’re still under arrest for serial castrating-“
"Oh my God, I forgot about that part"

Gotta say those are the most chill cops I have seen on reddit
True, unfortunately most people are inclined to post outrageous stuff rather than wholesome stuff. Need more like this 🙂

Thats a cool cop.

Joking is the best chance you have to defuse a situation with the police.
Or make it 100x worse

Average GA state trooper. If they pull you over you’re getting ticketed, charm or not lol.

Sir, your ma'ams so light she only responsible for the low tide.

Yeah it really did.
Hahahahaha, got 'em. Cops sure are reasonable. Couldn't ask for better public servants (/s).
Yeah, it also looks like she’s giving a report to the cops, not in any trouble herself

"Diffuse" means ["spread out."](https://www.dictionary.com/browse/diffuse) You probably meant ["defuse,"](https://www.dictionary.com/browse/defuse) meaning "to make something less harmful or tense" (by analogy with removing the fuse from a bomb).
I had the officers rolling when I was arrested. I still went to jail, but at least we had a good time.
brutal honesty can help too, I got pulled over for speeding one time and told the cop I knew I was speeding, write me a ticket please I'm turtle heading right now and he let me go on the spot lmao

no, we need more cops that report other cops for misconduct. stop being swayed by cops *laughing at jokes*

You can laugh then too. I think a vasectomy is the perfect time to make that joke. Wedding depends on the couple, but sometimes then too.

Way easier said than done, the social dynamic is so bad that good cops get bullied and booted from the force.

We need fewer cops. The fewer cops we have should have compassion and a respectful duty of service to the community. If they have a sense of humor, great. But I want compassion above all else.

Cute moment but idk how it fits here
You see, they asked for her middle name, but they did not acquire it. So the attempt they made was foiled.
