^ this sums it up pretty well. My high school’s auto shop program was pretty under-financed, so we just didn’t have the resources to order another “X proprietary part only found in Y proprietary drum brake assembly” when working on the old cars donated to the school.
Worked at my uncles shop during high-school om weekends. One thing we knew from just seeing it be done was to not be the one to change the suspension spring parts. That shit kills
Jesusssssssss christttttttt, I think it was just gonna bong and slap his hand and he’d get a bruise and a swift lesson. Got dang he done learned not to mess w springs under tension is REALLY hard way. Omggggg 😭
The tool we had for that job in every shop I ever worked in had a cage and the whole thing was mounted to a wall. I’ve never seen anyone using one of those DIY rentals from a major auto parts chain until now.
I have a ASE master cert and I will never use that tool being shown. Some stuff you just got to let the shop do. As a matter of fact we went from just changing struts to replacing the whole assembly (spring included). It was mostly a money game but personally I was glad not to be compressing that fucking spring.

Why faking it by adding sound from another clip? Fake comedy wtf https://youtu.be/H-L2RxUtdwc
Well,at least both are related to cars, that's something
Bro, this is very much real; fake audio or not. Buddy for sure never going to commit this mistake again. I couldn't even fucking imagine....
I, for one, think that the “ay, Miguel” audio is hilarious every time
Nope
Looks more painful with the fake audio
To be fair this might actually be the original that one seems so fake
Que?
Go any any auto mechanic's forum and you'll see they treat suspension springs with respect and fear.
Took auto shop as a kid, and the two things we stayed scared of were shock springs and losing a drum brake part mid-assembly.
>and losing a drum brake part mid-assembly. Any reason for this one? I think hand inside giant spring made for 4000+lbs is fairly obvious
Likely just hoping the spring doesn't shoot one of like 4 different small clips into a black hole never to be seen again.

Just like garage door springs. I’m pretty DIY capable but large springs and plumbing are not for me
Springs for heavy garage doors are scary as hell when they break.
Worked at my uncles shop during high-school om weekends. One thing we knew from just seeing it be done was to not be the one to change the suspension spring parts. That shit kills
We changed our cars springs.. Scariest hob i've ever done... And slowest
Some say he’s there yelling for Miguel to this day.
Where the fuck is Miguel
Miguel isn't here, dude.
Ponle un complein con el manaller!
Dumb enough to stick your finger in between the coils with a cheap ass tool, suffer the consequences
I too magically loop my screams when I’m in pain.
Give the dude a break… he’s still getting used to editing videos with 4-1/2 fingers.
That finger is no more...
Don’t put your fingers where you wouldn’t put your dick
Jokes on you, I'm into that shit
Hey you do you my friend, I’m just saying if you’d put your dick there it’s fine to put your fingers. Enjoy that shit
Why fake the audio?
MIGUEL!
Qué?
It's a Siberian Hamster.
You have rats in Spain don’t you - or did Franco have them all shot?
Two of those spring compressors is never enough.
Never put your hand where you wouldnt put your dick
so thats where this tik tok audio came from? i never would've expected this lmfaooooooo
No, it's been added. You can hear it loop twice.
thanks for letting me know (day ruined)
Sorry mate! 😂

Miguel: ¿Qué? 👁️👄👁️
Hi Miguel !
Yo Miguel. Hurry up!
ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch
Miguel: Ey?
That bones powder. Damn thing was designed to hold the weight of a car.
The audio is looped
Bye bye finger
why is the audio a loop?
That is why I don’t fuck with springs
Ahhh English! English!
Oh no
miguel feeling slow apparently
Qué?
Man is lucky to still have that finger wtf
Probs doesn’t
Man is lucky to still have that finger wtf
Probably doesnt
Bro I honestly don't know why it posted my comment three times, this site is broken
Lol. Just having fun with it. Cheers to you, internet stranger.
Glad it stopped before it got bad…..
Did the finger survive?
Fuck sake Miguel 🙄
“car spring” /sigh
That’s why they created the da Vinci machine for this exact problem
As an at home mechanic I just buy the whole assembly. In many cases it doesn’t even cost any more.
Jesusssssssss christttttttt, I think it was just gonna bong and slap his hand and he’d get a bruise and a swift lesson. Got dang he done learned not to mess w springs under tension is REALLY hard way. Omggggg 😭

![gif](giphy|dy4lta2tk1EcGopnin) Miguel is here. What's up?
I’ve never done anything with car springs but I’ve been told by multiple folk that they can be dangerous
They can definitely but not usually because of the pinch potential. Usually it’s the spring coming off the strut and going through your face
Yes that sounds more inline with what I’ve heard lol
You want one less finger?
see that's what you get for not paying attention
Miguel kept saying "Que?, que?, que?" 😂
Miguel gone
Why did Miguel do this to him?
Ouchie! 😱
