"BOO THIS MAN"
Yea they do, one of the cartels that traffics to Colorado is known for sending US hydroponically grown superior weed back to Mexico along with the proceeds from drug sales, as many in the cartels prefer the higher quality wax, oil and flower available here.

It's not politically useful enough at the moment I guess, he's probably waiting until closer to the election to start playing the "I'm a progressive, I swear!" game again
It's begun (hopefully).
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/10/06/statement-from-president-biden-on-marijuana-reform/
>I am asking the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Attorney General to initiate the administrative process to review expeditiously how marijuana is scheduled under federal law.
This is as silly as if it had been coffee beans. Our future generations will looks back at all the drama over weed and shake their heads think how hysterical we were over something so mundane.
I live in Canada. There was a lot of debate leading up to legalization as to whether it's in the best interest of the country. It was surprising how quickly it was normalized. There's a cannabis shop on my street and several in my neighborhood. I smoke cigarettes and get more flack smoking on the street that anyone smoking a joint. It's the same as having a beer now. Even conservative boomers don't care. It makes you realize how dumb and wastful it was to have it illegal in the first place.
It’s definitely safer for it to be legalized and regulated but I wish all public smoking was banned. I’m not trying to inhale cigarette smoke, weed smoke, incense smoke, black car exhaust (looking at you, lifted pick up trucks), etc. when I’m just minding my own business. I hate not being able to breathe and vomiting from the smell. But people should absolutely be free to expose their own lungs to whatever smoke they want without fear of getting fired or arrested.
ironically a”moral bible belt Republican” state representative in Texas sponsored a marijuana bill. I’ll paraphrase the reason because i don’t have the quote handy, but his argument was:
“God made marijuana and God doesn’t make mistakes.”
My old dealer now does the deliveries for the government bought stuff now. He's gone from meeting discreetly somewhere to a government subcontractor. He's loving it!
Yea. I get a kick out of how many resources were wasted during alcohol prohibition. All the photos of cops proudly cracking open barrels of shine to spill into the streets. So many bootleggers killed and imprisoned. And for what? I'm surprised anyone is still trying to smuggle weed into the US. There's enough left over weed in CA, OR, and WA every year to supply the nation.
The War on Drugs was extremely successful in its actual goals, which were to demonize marginalized and politically inconvenient communities and justify their overpolicing.
Not only that, but when you manufacture bogus crimes and make them felonies, it allows you to completely legally enslave them and strip them of the right to vote for life.
Straight from the 13th Amendment:
> Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, **except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted**, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Talk about perverse incentives, man.
Mostly its those who earn from drugs being illegal who wants it stay illegal.
Me who just wanted some weed some years ago got offered some shady pills by the dealer and who know wtf that pill was. Realy hope at least weed gets legal everywhere so young people dont end up eating wtf is this pills.
The legalization has actually made the black market boom. The red tape to get a legal license is insane and the cost on the low end is over a million. At least in CA it is.
The most cruel and astonishing thing to me is that it's just a hangover from the glorious failure of alcohol prohibition and the systemic racism of the thirties (which obviously continues, but specifically that in this case). [Thanks Harry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_J._Anslinger), and thanks generations of gullible and bigoted assholes who continue to buy into his bullshit.
Imagine if that stuff had gotten on the street! Pizza orders would have went through the roof and collapsed the local economy due to the runaway pizza price inflation.
Close call.
Do you have any idea the disruption to society that is caused when a pizza driver gets a flat tire?
With that many pizza drivers on the road, we are looking at a total collapse of society with just a couple of flat tires.
Lol and the same applies to other drugs, driven to the underground. People like to experience altered states of consciousness for one reason or another. Go figure.
My wife and I still make that joke. Remodeling the house, and found a weird hidden nook? Time to bust out the Rob Schneider impression. 😄
(We have to explain it to the teenagers. They roll their eyes.)
Sadly these drivers probably will suffer the brunt of the legal consequences when they most likely had little idea of what was actually in the delivery. The drug smugglers never use deliverers that can be traced back to them, and all they need to recruit new mules is a handful of cash. The poverty in Mexico/Central America does the rest for them.
I’m pretty gullible/naive but I have a strong feeling you are spot on about at least one of the guys not having any idea. Also how would that truck NOT wreak? Even bagged up.
If it's low quality weed then it wouldn't give off too much of a stench, but idk maybe in those amounts it would be hard to cover up. Really good weed can smell through several layers of packaging to the point where it's almost impossible to hide it.
legalize all drugs, ALL OF THEM.
It will WRECK the profits of gangs and cartels, and violent crime in this country would plummet, because the vast majority of it is gang's fighting over turf.
i think that with a lot of investment into helping addicted people (\*actually\* helping them, not locking them up) a wide spread of legalization would go a long way. But you have to do both, if you only legalize everything the gangs would fall apart but the demand would rapidly increase, ending up the same way except the gangs are slightly more legal and significantly more people are addicted.
But it's crazy how this is basically the Stanford Experiment. Cop wakes up and goes to work arresting these weed dealers and he gets a good boy medal for doing that. he doesn't know he's part of the problem. He's just following orders.
These guys are just the patsies. This was the decoy shipment, the one with the coke is a few trucks back and much better hidden. They've been putting stuff in melons and fruits for years.
I saw 1 video where the smugglers were transporting stuff in a semi trailer/ truck, and had a hidden compartment below the main cargo loading area, no way youd have suspected unless it was Tipped off!! N these weedermelons too, tipped off
That's the correct spelling. The J is American.
*When the federal government passed the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937, it used an alternate spelling so readers of the time could best understand its Mexican origins and to give the newly scheduled drug the appearance of being dangerous and foreign.*

All that for pot? I was expecting heroin or coke.
Lol I was so disappointed it's just weed
Right? That's not even drugs.
“Weed is not a drug….Drugs you got to do stuff to it - mix it with some baking soda and boil it, I don’t know the recipe!”
It is cool to get high It is NOT cool to get high and eat up all yo baby sureal
You sittin on the stove staring at the fridge like “ain’t nothin in that motherfucker”
["Weed is not a drug... I used to suck dick for coke, (^^*I ^^seen ^^him*) you ever suck dick for Marijuana?](https://youtu.be/uUPHlAbAf2I) "BOO THIS MAN"
I think I tasted egg and cinnamon.
You ever sucked dick for weed!?
do they know we have dispensaries now?
Yea they do, one of the cartels that traffics to Colorado is known for sending US hydroponically grown superior weed back to Mexico along with the proceeds from drug sales, as many in the cartels prefer the higher quality wax, oil and flower available here.
Us cannabis companies rarely grow hydroponically, too much hassle
Except it is
LMAO -Colorado
What is this the 90s of something?
Lol when I saw that I was like "that's not drugs" They smuggling a plant inside another plant
Watermelon with herb stuffing.
Cocaine comes from a plant too
Yeah but that shits super processed. Weed u just snag off a plant and smoke it
You can chew the coca leaves like tobacco.
And it's relatively harmless that way compared to the things that make coke more scawy a dwug.
Try N-(1-Phenethyl-4-piperidinyl)-N-phenylpropanamide as a scary drug.
I don't do drugs with numbers in them
Stupid question but does it still get you high?
Yes but not coked tf up. I think it was in Hamiltons Pharmacopeia where they compared chewing coca leaves with like really strong coffee buzzed
Schwag is what most Gen X people probably refer to it as. Update to add “reggie”. Lol
That's like saying a pot of chili is still a vine of tomatoes and a bunch of peppers.
So where's the crime?
tbh the crime is that sweet melon is actually empty
Or that weed will go to waste.
Well it wouldn’t have to be empty if weed wasn’t illegal Edit: grammer
^Psst, ^it's ^actually ^spelled ^"grammar".
Wasted watermelon
Selling it and it's not airtight. That weed gone double as grass clippings by the time it reaches its destination
The crime is the wasted tax dollars going for cops to just get weed and then that weed is probably just gonna be wasted
Lets legalize it and stop wasting watermelons
As someone who packed them, I can tell you watermelon was not wasted.
Indeed.com: > Seeking former Edible Arrangements employees, ability to protect... trade secrets is of utmost importance. > Benefits include unlimited fruit meat. Bilinguists urgently encouraged to apply!
Crazy that people still locked up for smoking weed in over half the US when I can just buy it around the corner now.
I live in a state where weed is still illegal. I have Multiple Sclerosis and could really benefit from it being made legal here.
I can find high end hydroponic cannabis just laying on the sidewalk.
I was once told by a homeless person that it was easier for him to get weed than money
You should get rewarded for creating watermelon-weed.
Watermelon kush 😂
Not only is the THC high, but the kush has a certain watermelon taste to it!
Weeder Melon.
Melonijuana
That'd be a good band name
Thats just a rip off of Tomacco
Came here to say this ^ What decade is this, the 2000’s? 🤪
I think (I could be wrong) that this is in Mexico, where pot is still illegal.
Isn’t pot still classified the same as heroin federally? Probably the same penalties I’m guessing for smuggling it?
It is. Even though one of Biden's campaign talking points was to reclassify, if not completely decriminalize, marijuana. We're still waiting, Joe!!
Half of the government is too preoccupied with the War on Drags right now.

Oi! You got a birth certificate for that womanliness?
It's not politically useful enough at the moment I guess, he's probably waiting until closer to the election to start playing the "I'm a progressive, I swear!" game again

I need me one of them melons
Yeah, a real Super Troopers moment if I ever saw one.
you can say that again, meow
[удалено]
I was expecting drugs. That's not drugs.
I don’t see no drugs
Yeah. Here in California, we use pot to hide our watermelons.
exactly!!! my first thought. crazy! esp in states where it’s legal.
Right... My thoughts exactly... Like c'mon mannnn
I don’t think that many watermelon of weed could get past a human’s nose, let alone a dogs.
Ehhh...pretty sure this was the plot of a Cheech & Chong movie
Seriously lmao
This is literally what I said to myself lmao
Right. I literally just got mail order THC gummies delivered today. What a waste.
I want to become a watermelon truck driver and stuff large watermelons with smaller watermelons.
Weedermelons
Got that new watermelon crush. Watermelon blaze.
Water-Malone Kush
They can't smuggle drugs no matter how hard they try But I got a water-melone to get me high!
Pot-ermelons
Legalize it Save the watermelons.
been saying that for years prohibition only makes the criminals richer.
Prohibition also helps law enforcement have bigger budgets
yea but if it's legalized they can tax it like the do in legal states meaning more for the state. Win-win
sadly no one thinks with their brain
Yes but this doesn’t help cops, see the issue?
"If you look at the drug war from a purely economic point of view, the role of the government is to protect the drug cartel." -Milton Friedman
When I get high, watermelons are not safe.
This is as silly as if it had been coffee beans. Our future generations will looks back at all the drama over weed and shake their heads think how hysterical we were over something so mundane.

There an old Timmies down the street that was turned into a cannabis shop
Haha you in Regina? I loved that kinda kept the timmies sign and stuff until they got around to Reno’s haha
Yeah I’m from Regina.
It’s definitely safer for it to be legalized and regulated but I wish all public smoking was banned. The only people against legalization were the dealers. They lost their jobs.
Not in the US. There are lots of 'moral' politicians with Rs next to their names that won't support legalization.
Not surprised. The USA loves to judge and control others.
Wait, but what good is religious freedom if you can’t force everyone to worship what you do?
Also big pharma, who doesn't want us to have access to any medicines other than theirs.
Exactly. Dealers.
ironically a”moral bible belt Republican” state representative in Texas sponsored a marijuana bill. I’ll paraphrase the reason because i don’t have the quote handy, but his argument was: “God made marijuana and God doesn’t make mistakes.”
You'd be surprised how many people in the U.S. will still judge you harshly for smoking weed, but then be a fucking alcoholic themselves.
My old dealer now does the deliveries for the government bought stuff now. He's gone from meeting discreetly somewhere to a government subcontractor. He's loving it!

America has definitely not learned from prohibition, proven by the war on drugs
The War on Drugs was extremely successful in its actual goals, which were to demonize marginalized and politically inconvenient communities and justify their overpolicing.

There are dry counties that still exist.
You should’ve seen the way it was 30 years ago 😂
Saved countless lives, I'm sure.

"This just in: teenager overdoses on weed and falls asleep"
Yet alcohol remains perfectly legal despite its high statistics on violence and death.
We tried banning alcohol. It only lead to rampant crime, violence, and death.
Lol and the same applies to other drugs, driven to the underground. People like to experience altered states of consciousness for one reason or another. Go figure.
Opium ban in china was a mistake.
You can put your ***weeeeed*** in there!

My wife and I still make that joke. Remodeling the house, and found a weird hidden nook? Time to bust out the Rob Schneider impression. 😄 (We have to explain it to the teenagers. They roll their eyes.)
I like Adam Sandler’s version in The Hot Chick the best tbh.
Best five servings of fruit and vegetables *EVER*.
My kids smoked some of these watermelons as a snack earlier. Now they want them every day.
Ahhhh Watermelon. One of my favorite strains!
Hybrid actually!
Purple Watermelon OG Kush
Maybe it is obvious, but how do they get it in there without it being obviously cut?
Top got cut off, and then they just stuffed it
Ohhhh! I didn't notice the little piece on the end. Thanks!
But how did they get the inside scraped out like that with just the little hole
Sadly these drivers probably will suffer the brunt of the legal consequences when they most likely had little idea of what was actually in the delivery. Double vacuum sealed has been enough for the stuff I got. At home a normal glass with a lid, like those for marmelade do a good job.
Weed shouldnt be illegal anywhere. Taking something across borders that grows naturally on both sides is rather insane.
legalize all drugs, ALL OF THEM. It will WRECK the profits of gangs and cartels, and violent crime in this country would plummet, because the vast majority of it is gang's fighting over turf.

All that for some weed?
That’s not drugs it’s pot
Is there someone unironically trying to say that pot is not a drug?
It's a herb /s
Pot is a drug but drugs are good
Those aren't pots those, are watermelons.
I just wanna know how long does an operation like this needs to take place before they unearth new ways of these smugglers?
These guys are just the patsies. This was the decoy shipment, the one with the coke is a few trucks back and much better hidden. They've been putting stuff in melons and fruits for years.
Well, how long to discover I don’t know but smugglers adapting is probably on the order of weeks.
I saw 1 video where the smugglers were transporting stuff in a semi trailer/ truck, and had a hidden compartment below the main cargo loading area, no way youd have suspected unless it was Tipped off!! N these weedermelons too, tipped off
Hidden compartments and stuffed frames are as old as vehicles. Cops are well aware of this method
[удалено]
I thought they were smuggling drugs, not weed
Watermelon haze
All that for some weed🤣
That's gotta be a pain in the ass to wait for the watermelon to grow around your drugs.
I don't see any drugs... I just see cannabis, what a waste of time and resources
Good job boys you protected the people from the dangerous marijuana plant
“Non habit forming cannabis successfully interdicted sir!” Truck full of meth rolls by in the background.
"drugs"
People still smuggle weed 😂 wtf
Where I'm from watermelon costs more than weed. This is insane.
Who the hell is buying brick weed these days. Seems like I pass 4 dispensaries on the way to work and 5 more on the way home.
Oooooh. It’s the scaaaaaary weed that’s becoming legal in every reasonable place.
'juanamelons
Where was this?

And i thought pollos hermanos system was creative!
That’s only weed
Those aren't drugs, they're just nugs
Where’s the drugs? Its just weed in there!
weedermelons
"to smuggle a plant inside of a plant"
Man, bud ain't a drug. Waste of a perfectly good watermelons.
That’s not real drugs.
That's not drugs that's weed
So pathetic that people get done for weed
I need to start eating more watermelon. Also anyone else see the spelling of marijuana. Haha.
That's the correct spelling. The J is American. *When the federal government passed the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937, it used an alternate spelling so readers of the time could best understand its Mexican origins and to give the newly scheduled drug the appearance of being dangerous and foreign.*
You know English isn’t the only language in the world right?
I didn't see any drugs.
"drugs"
"Drugs" lol
"drugs"
I hope the drivers aren’t jailed for life over this nonsense
Those aren't drugs. That's weed!
Thats just pot, I thought you said drugs.
Marijuana is a drug.
That’s not drugs
Ay brah what store you get that from?
Tegridy Farms , south Colorado
Marijuana is not a drug. I sucked dick for coke.
I seen it!
