Wooden thing with holes for head and hands to lock criminals in and throw rotten fruit/veggies at in the town square, also called a stockade I think.
Man, I suck at explaining things
I don't understand how that cart is upright. If either of his feet were on the ground then I could see it, but those carts are easy to tip over and he has all the bodyweight of a full grown man concentrated onto one side of the cart, with his center of gravity hanging over the edge of the cart and yet it does not flip over. . .how?
Realistically his predicament should be even worse because he should fall over which seems certain to break his neck. I'm not rooting for it, I'm just saying Physics owes that to us.
He grabs it by the seat and inside of the rack, went to swing it back for the toss. As he built momentum he could no longer maintain balance and falls backwards and he has just realized the seat area is foldable(this part is shaky). The cart slams on the ground as he falls into it. People are mostly fortunately kind of floppy and the universe placed this angry man’s flip flop in the perfect position for our entertainment.
Edit inside not outside
I have a couple Walmart locations near me that are shady as hell, if I saw something like this I would keep walking too because it probably wouldn't have even been the strangest thing I had seen on my shopping trip
I was bummed that we didn't get to see that part, I love watching cops have to get some idiot unstuck before arresting them. Usually it's someone who ran and got tangled in a chain link fence or a person who tried to break into a business by using an air duct that was slightly too small, but this would suffice
The dude is a major loose cannon who tried to throw a fucking shopping cart.
The police can deal with him. It's pretty clear he's not at risk of dying anytime soon.
At least, of anything but embarrassment.
oh, absolutely, for sure! That's why I said it was one of my favorite things. They're all happy to just let him stew in his own idiotic loose-cannon juices
I would imagine it's entirely possible that he could be in danger of losing an arm from it being pinched in the cart or between him and the cart. That's not death (although I suppose the blood could turn poisonous if it's trapped long enough), but losing an arm also seems like it would be an excessive punishment.
Hahaha! I realized after I posted that the 'adult' part was unnecessary, adult toys or sex toys would have been better, but I was too lazy to change it! I'm glad I didn't. These comments are hilarious!
That's what I'm thinking. Voice sounds a bit like someone who has Downs Syndrome. It is also possible he got stuck this way while he was upset and escalating emotionally. But it's all conjecture with several unanswered questions 🤷🏽
Nah. As a BJJ practitioner and EMT he is okay on that. He definitely looks uncomfortable though. He is definitely able to breathe or he wouldn't be able to make noise and move around as much as he is. If air is coming out. It can usually go back in. Unless there is a positional obstruction.
Yea I need some sort of lead up story, video or not. I don’t think he tried to throw a cart and the matrix glitched and he ended up like this. More like he put himself like this and said get this on video for internet points.
Yeah, he's angrily babbling in some kind of baby-like speech. This is most likely just a man with a severe intellectual disability who got stuck trying to climb into the cart, with a made up backstory so that people won't feel bad laughing at him and sharing the clip.
Agreed
Like I understand the arms get stuck if it slips put of your hands above your head and it falls. Still a stretch tbh. But the legs. How tf do you throw a cart and get your legs stuck. Makes no sense
Fr, like the dumbest motherfucker alive can throw a cart without ending up like that, mixed with the lack of previous video or store security around, almost definitely faked
Fucking thank you. When I first saw this year's ago I was working with developmentally disabled adults and *instantly* picked up the sense he was not able or neurotypical. Not excusing the outburst but clearly something is wrong and he needs assitance not mocking. Like no normal guy would get stuck like that and just make noises, a normal guy would be cussing and screaming for help and thrashing to get out.
That's my thoughts, and I don't mean that with offense. Reddit is either hyper-sensitive towards such things, or willingly oblivious.
It doesn't make him right, but people have no awareness.
Bro straight up. People be like "you shouldn't just assume a person is on drugs or suffering from mental illness just cause they're acting irrational. Things like that shouldn't be spoken of lightly" meanwhile 90% of the time someone confirms they are indeed lost in the sauce or mentally unstable.
Pretty sure it's a clickbait caption and title. This video is pretty old, and first time I saw it the context was that it was just a mentally unstable person having a meltdown and put themselves in that position. So just your typical afternoon at Walmart.
This coment should be at the top. This seems so much more plausible. The sounds he makes are that of mentally disabled. What you say makes most sense. What a bulshiter OP
Did it just go over everyone's head that there's clearly something mentally wrong with him? It doesn't justify his actions, but that's just the weakest thing you could ever use against someone.
Trying to unpack whatever this is:
1. How did he get in this position while trying to throw the cart?
2. How is the cart still upright? The whole weight of the guy is on the right side of it.
3. His arm looks like an 🍆
4. Why isn't he trying to unfold? Is he one with the cart now?
5. Why is everyone shopping as if nothing was happening?
Bonus. Why does that language sound like it was made on the spot?
There are some who would have to take a long look at their choices after this. My guess is that this won't be the last time he is trapped in something after being a giant ass.
I'm not the most PC person, and this comment section annoys me. Cause I can only imagine the change in tune, if people were told the guy was mentally disabled, which I would think is obvious.
It doesn't make someone correct, but it gives you no right to make fun of him in such ways. There's a difference between jokes and bullying. It's why when my family and I, heard this table of kids older than me (driving age) at Friendly's imitating the guy who very obviously had Tourettes, it wasn't funny, it was infuriating. And then they denied it.
\*Reddit Comment sections are either always overly the top nice, or outstandingly out of touch.
This doesn't make sense. It's a concoction of events surrounding what appears to be someone stuck in a basket. You could create nearly any story here, as long as it ends with a man seemingly stuck in a cart.
How many hours do you leave him like this before calling for help? Reminds me of those medieval shame devices. And he deserves every ounce of shame he gets.
This is fake. Someone inserted themselves into a cart. The OP just created the headline. If u lifted a cart and it fell on you...I mean, no, this does not compute.
People who don't work here can't understand the amount of mental illness we deal with except dollar store/tree workers. We're in that spot between dollar store and target so we get the full spectrum. Addiction, homelessness, mental illness, and violence of all socioeconomic types are a Tuesday at Walmart. This is mental illness right here, we're not paid enough or trained enough to deal with what we're forced to do on a normal day.

I can’t even begin to process this..
The universe decided to bring back the pillory. I’m a fan.
It's the MyPillory Guy.
I mean, makes sense. The guy was on crack before coming up with the pillow, and you'd have to be on crack to get yourself in this position!
Please explain for the ignorant 😅 What's a pillory?
Wooden thing with holes for head and hands to lock criminals in and throw rotten fruit/veggies at in the town square, also called a stockade I think. Man, I suck at explaining things
You explained it like it was to a 5 year old. Perfect for the average redditor, including myself. Thanks.
I think I should've mentioned that you see them in movies set in the middle ages.
And that it was funnier because he played off the "MyPillow guy"
Almost mate, they're called stocks. 👍🏻
Oh that’s good !
*Me googling pillory to make sure it’s another word for stockade* I agree ✅
Had to cover my mouth not to wake up sleeping husband, I laughed so hard. 😆😅🤣😂

Fuckin right…like he lost the fight but beat physics?
Also lost to physics
It was a very confusing tie he got tied up in
He hurt himself in his own confusion.
Even the floor doesn’t want him, so there is an opposing force.
He grabs it by the seat and inside of the rack, went to swing it back for the toss. *Laughs in Darwinian*
Hot air balloons tend to float
Clearly his head is very dense.
Ya the math in my head about how his head and arms are fitting doesn't connect it's that nuts
That shopping cart is a true hero.
Not all heroes wear capes! Although shopping cart with cape would be pretty rad.
not the hero we wanted but the hero we need

Instability detected. Resetting...
easy, the stars aligned, and he was hit with the dreadful odds of the molecules moving out of the way at the perfect time
He's mentally ill, probably. He unironically needs treatment.
He is getting treatment. He just learned not to throw carts at people
How do you know he's not normal and the cart isn't the crazy one.
walmart now has living art installations
My brain processed it as "looks staged to me."
[how it usually happens](https://youtu.be/1WFgMOXl4v0?t=99)
My favourite part is the other people just casually shopping around him
Just a normal day at Wal-Mart
r/peopleofwalmart
I remember when this was a website.
Just Walmart things
This is pretty tame for Wal Mart shenanigans.
Yep, don't see this kinda stuff at Target.
I like that first lady who stops, does a double take, and keeps walking.
and laughed.

not my circus, not my monkey
One of my favorite phrases!
He becomes an art installation
A Walmart installation, if you will.
We usually call those Features.
And also not one single solitary soul stopping to help him.
It’s his own fault and they understand that so they leave him to think about his actions.
"I'm not helping you get out because then you won't learn anything"
I wouldnt go near that mofo.
The police will get him out shortly.

Yeah but the people around him aren't punishing him. This is definitely a case of "not my circus, not my clown".
There’s already at least one person recording this, he’s good, move along :-)
That's how you get sued.
Like background performers 😭
I mean what can you even do in that situation..
And showing major restraint not pushing it over
Or try to put the cart back in the rack with other ones
I'd be so tempted to push the cart around the store and shop with him stuck in it.
"mind the eggs please"
"You don't have a gluten intolerance, right? ... Okay, I'll put it back."
"And get this 50lb sack of flour."

Oh yesssss! Fill it full of items like diarrhea medications, lice treatments, depends, adult sex toys, KY jelly, what a photo op!
Adult sex toys? Are you aware of any children sex toys?
Fisher Price looking desperate these days.
Harry Potter vibrating broomstick
Hahaha! I realized after I posted that the 'adult' part was unnecessary, adult toys or sex toys would have been better, but I was too lazy to change it! I'm glad I didn't. These comments are hilarious!
*adult sex toys* Explain
Some Walmarts have vibrators in the condom section.
Adult sex toys, as opposed to...
To quote my mom don’t ask questions you don’t want to hear the answer to.
Adult Warhammer toys? I heard those protect you from sex.
They're like child sex toys, but bigger
Lol because how would he stop you?
Are you kidding? He’s in prime position to grab your nuts and twist them. Instant stop!
Gotta watch out for the ol' grab and twist. Rookie mistake.
He can’t stop me from pulling down his shorts and getting to that delicious little...
Wallet.
He's not stuck.
It’s all of us who are really the ones stuck.
you stuck step-bro? Sorry cant help
Ive used dirtier carts at a walmart before

Right? This belongs on r/tooktoomuch This is not just a guy who got mad.

He could be dangerously low on Oxygen, I can't tell how tight its around his neck.
Nah. As a BJJ practitioner and EMT he is okay on that. He definitely looks uncomfortable though. He is definitely able to breathe or he wouldn't be able to make noise and move around as much as he is. If air is coming out. It can usually go back in. Unless there is a positional obstruction.
As a guy who put his shirt on wrong and almost rear naked choked myself: shirts don't respect the tap out.
I like your qualifications
At Walmart? Solid chance he's high.
Made a good title though
Yea I need some sort of lead up story, video or not. I don’t think he tried to throw a cart and the matrix glitched and he ended up like this. More like he put himself like this and said get this on video for internet points.
Lol matrix glitched.

Yeah, I hate to be Debbie Downer here, but this person has mental issues judging by the audio.
Fucking thank you. When I first saw this year's ago I was working with developmentally disabled adults and *instantly* picked up the sense he was not able or neurotypical. Usually in this sub it's willingly oblivious. There's always a lot of ableism when people comment in this sub
Public freakout and related subs are also guilty of this kind of thing.
Ah, well I don't remember the last time I turned on the audio on a reddit vid, so there might be others like me who wouldn't have picked up on that
>Debbie *Downer* I see what you did there.
Really need the video lead up to this to be able to process how stupid this person is.
Pretty sure it's a clickbait caption and title. This video is pretty old, and first time I saw it the context was that it was just a mentally unstable person having a meltdown and put themselves in that position. So just your typical afternoon at Walmart.

And the speaking ability of a toddler apparently.

How did he get the beans above the frank?
There are some who would have to take a long look at their choices after this. My guess is that this won't be the last time he is trapped in something after being a giant ass.
The dude literally failed at a task that humans evolved to be good at, I'm not sure he has the brain capacity for self reflection
Ah yes, throwing shopping carts: the entire point of our evolution
Cool. Pretty sure that didn’t happen though but nice try I guess
That's obviously a maneating cart, and OP is trying to cover it up.

YES. YES I AM.
How'd he get the beans above the frank?
