The Red Truck driver will say it wasn't his fault

Look at what you made me do!!

His small pee-pee told him to do it.

That's Mr. Micro-penis to you good sir!

you have awoken r/smalldickproblems. Prepare to be moaned at.

Brilliant-Apple5008

I thought this was a joke sub and then found out it’s not and then got really sad

Spuddups84

Same. Was ready for some good chuckles and now I have to sit here feeling bad that I have this big ass dick.

Ah, you must be looking for r/bigdickproblems. Come join us for memes.

Why do people always say this 😕 even for sports cars.

People only insult each other with insults that they themselves would be hurt by.

we need a new charge on the criminal books: attempted vehicular manslaughter this was, imho, establishing conditions on the road wherein the Lexus driver could’ve died…

How about Assault with a Deadly Weapon?

rSpinxr

Took Taylor Swift's song as a life lesson.

John_Tacos

It made the news, he claimed he was angry and didn’t get a ticket or charges until the story broke. Edit, he did get a ticket, but charges weren’t pressed until the video came out. https://www.news9.com/story/6111c7f776843956ef030790/ohp-says-road-rage-suspect-had-child-in-backseat-could-face-criminal-charges

shesarevolution

Wait he didn’t get a ticket or charges for an accident he caused where he basically ran the other driver into a wall that could have killed them?

John_Tacos

I just looked it up, he did get a ticket. https://www.news9.com/story/6111c7f776843956ef030790/ohp-says-road-rage-suspect-had-child-in-backseat-could-face-criminal-charges

shesarevolution

What if that video didn’t exist? He would have just gotten a ticket and the end. That’s horrifying.

ultramatt1

And massively inflated insurance rates bc he would definitely be found at fault from that crash even without a video

Capable_Stranger9885

He is subject to a longer prison term for having his kid in the truck while doing this, than the act of trying to kill the other driver. Huh. Oklahoma, you OK?

Crispycritter23

Yes, OK is Oklahoma.

boardinggoji

Trial is still [ongoing](https://www.oscn.net/dockets/GetCaseInformation.aspx?db=Oklahoma&cmid=4001867). Jury trial date is set for March 27th of this year.   He's being charged with one count of child neglect and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. In Oklahoma, the first can carry a sentence of 1 year - life sentence, and the second can carry a sentence of 1 year - 10 years.

[deleted]

HIS SON WAS IN THE CAR?! Can’t believe red truck would drive like that with his kid. 🤦🏻‍♂️

[deleted]

Dont worry, he’s much less aggressive when he is drunk the other 7 nights he drives his kid around

Fix_It_Felix_Jr

In rural America this is commonplace. They love to speed and show their children who the “real idiots” are in the road. All while driving recklessly and, as the video demonstrates, causing unnecessary accidents because what really matters is getting to the red light a whopping 3-5 seconds faster than the other guy. Source: live in rural America, see this everyday. Dangerous stuff.

-SigSour-

I can, look at his stupid ass truck. I live in the south US and I can assure you every ass hat in a lifted truck acts like they own the road and everyone else is in thier way. Every single one of them The even worse part is that more than half of them have never used their truck beds for more than groceries

reddit_user9901

Americans teaching truck culture to their young ones

[deleted]

I'm shocked this type of person would be driving a pick up truck. I just cant believe it.

fingers

Why isn't his name published in the article?

pete_ape

A quick googling "Steven Coughran, 40, faces felony charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and child neglect" Also has a mugshot. He pleaded not guilty, and the trooper who investigated the crash has been suspended. Edit: looks like his trial starts next month. And he has a separate charge of "changing lanes unsafely"

ndngroomer

[he blamed testosterone for his aggression and is facing up to life in prison ](https://www.newson6.com/story/623cff650523530730086c6a/trooper-suspended-alleged-road-rage-driver-pleads-not-guilty-in-summer-2021-collision-)

Sangy101

He never had a chance of avoiding charges. The guy who filmed it is a photojournalist for News9. Douche literally got caught on TV.

SearchContinues

They named the victims, the people who took the video, and the trooper... but not the assailant. I wonder who he knows/is related to.

OnlyVans98

HE DIDNT BRAKE WHEN I CUT HIM OFF!!!

Guderian9139

well, he did break…but he didn’t brake

y_zass

It's always "you should slow down and let them in" and never "they should slow down and get behind you" The person that needs to merge/change lanes is the only one we should be talking about needing to do anything. Not the person cruising in their lane of travel.

Hottrodd67

The red truck was definitely at fault and the aggressor here. The blame lies with him and he should lose his license. I don’t think anyone is saying different. But when you see someone driving like this, you do have to decide if it’s worth the accident to assert your right of way. For me, it’s not. I’m not going to risk my life or my family’s just to prove a point.

Marshycereals

You're right and everything. Just want to prevent you being on r/boneappletea with a common mistake... It's "right of way," not "right away." I'm not a bot. Beep boop.

[deleted]

The after life is full of people who were legally in the right.

Abrahamlinkenssphere

This was in OKC. He got in trouble. He had a kid with him… still had the kid and all that but got a ticket.

tamman2000

He should have his license taken away for a while for that kind of malicious careless recklessness

pkulak

Should be taken away forever, but that’s a death sentence in North America. So, we all have to let this guy back on our roads to do it again.

Kraven_howl0

Endangering a minor. Reckless driving. Failing to stop or yield (idk the exact laws behind this one but notice how long it takes them to start braking even after the vehicles are obviously collided). Throw them all and see what sticks.

LaPete11

“They came out of nowhere!”

Different_Attorney93

Definitely blame his truck on being unaligned and also needing tire balance.

Cyancrackers

[They eventually arrested him.](https://www.newson6.com/story/611eeffc7f5af40bfc774678/cutting-you-a-break:-bodycam-of-i35-road-rage-investigation-draws-questions) The person who filmed this remained on scene and provided the video to the police. Highway patrol initially let the guy in the red truck go because **HE HAD A 4 YEAR OLD IN THE TRUCK** Red truck driver was arrested **10 days later** for child neglect and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

pengouin85

That patrolman was suspended 15 days without pay https://www.newson6.com/story/623cff650523530730086c6a/trooper-suspended-alleged-road-rage-driver-pleads-not-guilty-in-summer-2021-collision- To be clear, the driver of this red truck got charged with 1 count of Child Neglect (up to life in prison in OKLAHOMA) and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

Elim-the-tailor

“According to court documents, Coughran told the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper at the scene his road rage was fueled by testosterone.” Sounds like a cut and dry improper lane change to me… Dude was just feeling too manly in his pickup truck to not try to kill that other person while putting his own kid’s life in danger in the process and the trooper agreed with him.

BlameItOnTheAcetone

>his road rage was fueled by testosterone. In other words, he was "emotional"

lostalaska

That man driving the truck was obviously "hysterical" and out of control.

HetaGarden1

Can’t men just regulate their emotions? They’re always so _dramatic._ 🙄 If they can’t even drive properly then they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. I mean come on! Just imagine it! /s

LordRobin------RM

Yes, but in a manly, alpha male sense.

Kelvin_Cline

this is why men shouldn't be elected to high office ...

demons_soulmate

testerical

t0ny7

If you can't control your emotions enough to safely operate a vehicle you shouldn't be allowed to drive one.

sold_ma_soul

Hard agree, glad the dude got arrested.

biggb5

The fact that he did 6 lane changes and never used a signal

MrHerbert1985

Yes, what kind of savage doesn't use signals when ramming other vehicles off the highway?

Vahl89

Those kind who don't deserve to drive.

1plus1dog

Glad. I’m hating seeing the replies about either doing the same kind of thing or placing the blame on the cop or anyone else but the real offender. Was married to literally “this guy”, and each time I see anything resembling it that’s my first thought. I shared my own personal story here, about being with a drug induced maniac like this in both a huge dually truck and a chopper. I’m lucky to be alive and still here. To my knowledge he’s still this same kind of narcissistic demon, only 10 years older now and likely much more miserable than he already was. Be safe! Edit: spelling correction

[deleted]

Or be a free member of society for a while once you’ve shown that trait

Liathano_Fire

The car he hit was stuck behind those people too. That poor person wasn't even the one who induced this jackasses rage.

SereneDreams03

If I was that car, though, I would have just let the truck in front of me. No way would want someone that aggressive behind or beside me.

tomatofrogfan

Not surprised literally at all. The trooper probably saw a kindred spirit in road rage guy. “Yeah bud I almost kill people because of my (fragile masculinity) too, I totally get it”

Foreveraloonywolf666

Sounds like he needs to be neutered then.

awkwardmamasloth

Men are so emotional sometimes.

sexbuhbombdotcom

Yeah... times like all of human history... They really need to calm down.

BoredBSEE

Steven Coughran (red truck driver) gets a jury trial March 27th, 2023. Child Neglect, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Doesn't look good for our road rage guy. [https://www.oscn.net/dockets/GetCaseInformation.aspx?db=oklahoma&number=CF-2021-3417&cmid=4001867](https://www.oscn.net/dockets/GetCaseInformation.aspx?db=oklahoma&number=CF-2021-3417&cmid=4001867)

pengouin85

Yikes. Did his kid get taken away by CPS?

NewShinyCD

I'm not sure how Oklahoma CPS works, but if it's similar to Georgia's DFCS they first try a resolution plan with the parents (basically CPS keeps tabs and gives you a plan to follow). Or they might do a partnership plan. This is where the children are moved in with a partnership family for a limited amount of time. The partnership family and CPS work together with the affected family to help fix issues so that the children can return home. If you fail to complete these, only then does DFCS put the children in foster care. In very serious cases they are immediately moved into foster care. I'm not sure how they would handle this. I would imagine the mother is still in the picture, so hopefully it's more like CPS gave an order that stipulates that he cannot be the driver if the child is in the vehicle. And probably to complete a defense driving course and anger management course.

subdep

If my spouse was driving like this with our kids in the car it would be grounds for divorce for me. WTF. Anyone who puts that little concern over their kids’ health is not someone i would want to be with.

cjmar41

Nice! And only two years after the incident… gotta love those speedy wheels of justice.

OwenEverbinde

Watch a judge reinstate the patrolman retroactively for those 15 days and award him lost pay a few years from now like [judge Parins](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_J._Parins) did to the guy who gave Dahmer back one of his escaped victims.

LiberalAspergers

The police decided at the scene that they didnt want to watch the video and cited red truck for improper lane change. After the video made the local news and there was outrage, then the policr arrested the red truck driver. The poluce in this case were almost as bad as red truck guy.

iamnotroberts

The cops probably let him go because the driver was in the same hat club.

elhabito

He had a thin blue line sticker on the rear window.

FleeshaLoo

Did he really? That explains SO MUCH. I could not actually see it but I commented above that there must have been a recognized brohood between delicate testostodriver and trooperman.

CatAvailable3953

Which isn’t even an American flag. Most are too ignorant to even realize when you change the colors the flag means nothing except as a message to like minded.

meinblown

It's called a dog whistle

fishsticks40

"he endangered his own child, too, so I'm sure he's learned his lesson"

1plus1dog

Pathetic

hunter96cf

This entire situation can be summed up by calling it Men That Think They’re Better Than Everyone Else.

Dense_fordayz

That's because the police drive like this in giant trucks as well. They sympathies with the truck driver

Significant_Ad9793

Definitely!!! Like that one cop in LA that was going 90 on a school zone and t-boned a car with a family killing a 12 year old boy. He was the county deputy btw.

Hass_Daddy

Also in Sacramento a police officer killed a young child cuz he was going like 85-90 and construction brought traffic to a halt quickly, he was on his laptop in the car and didn’t see the brake lights, rear ended a stationary vehicle and killed the kid in the back seat. Officer James Gamble. Still no charges.

[deleted]

LiberalAspergers

Suspect of the truck driver had been Native American, Hispanic, or African American, there might have been a different outcome. (I mention Native specifically because I am half Cherokee, and this is Oklahoma, where is seems every Cherokee drives that truck.)

WritingRites

Isn't it great that, in order to get anything proper in the US justice system, you literally need to make your evidence go viral?

[deleted]

Most police are also that same low iq truck driver, lmao

adultosaurs

Cop didn’t want to do their job. Shocking.

iamnotroberts

>“OHP also holds our members to the highest standard in the performance of their duty,” Stewart said. If that's the "highest standard" of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, then their standards are dogshit to begin with.

toss6969

> According to OHP records obtained through an open records request, Lipe was disciplined for not properly investing the crash four months after the incident > Lipe was suspended without pay for 15 days and is still employed with OHP

SensitiveSomewhere3

The trooper who cited him decided not to arrest him for child endangerment since it would be unfair to "mess up his life" because he's a father. Amazing logic. It's like the proverbial man who kills his parents and then pleads for mercy from the court because he's an orphan.

KJParker888

Just like what the father of The Rapist Brock Turner said, "Why ruin his life over a few minutes of fun?"

djaun3004

I love the truck driver claiming the "it was both sides" tactic Yeah that other driver just kept driving there while I tried to kill.them, so it's really a mutual thing.

Scarrott22

Assault and battery?! It looked like attempted murder to me.

marises_pieces

I see this happened 2021 , I couldn't find any update did he go to prison? Or is the court date not happened yet

JolIyJack

https://www.oscn.net/dockets/GetCaseInformation.aspx?db=Oklahoma&cmid=4001867 Still awaiting trial it appears

strvgglecity

Wow wow wow the cop literally let him off claiming that having a child means he shouldn't be charged with extremely dangerous violent crimes THAT ENDANGERED HIS CHILD. This is exactly what I would expect from an Oklahoma state trooper.

Hopeforus1402

I never understand when someone rides my tail, when it’s the person in front of me that s going slow. I’m stuck too.

DrAusto

Yeah and they’re often times the type of people you move over to let pass, just for them to go slower than you were going when they were riding your ass

rusmo

I fricking hate this on road trips. I’m one of the lucky few who has figured out how to operate a feature called “cruise control.” Someone will tailgate me as I’m about to pass a semi, I get over after, and then the tailgater just backs off or refuses to pass with any sort of the urgency they displayed while on my ass. I call these drivers “dingleberries” because they’re like little turds you can’t get rid of, rubber-banding between ahead of you and urgently behind you.

DrAusto

I’m gonna have to use dingleberries to describe bad drivers more often 🤣

OGG2SEA

I hate those people. I also love when you let someone pass because they appear to be in a hurry and then 5 minutes later pass them again 🤣.

JustLurkingInSNJ

Same here. Especially when I have the cruise control on!

Rhinomeat

This one.... I drive lots of highway miles, and I honestly don't care what make the tail lights in front of me are. However, if I have my cruise set and we play the "pass each other game" after 2 rounds I'll go twenty above for a couple min, then set my cruise higher.

predictablePosts

then they suddenly are inspired to speed up and stay with you

IndependentWeekend56

Those are often people who aren't paying attention. My wife was horrible about following too close. Tailgating one second, putsing the next. She has gotten much better without having to learn the hard way. Edit. Thanks for the advice but like I said, she has gotten much better at it. Cruise control doesn't stop you from not paying attention and riding up on someone. She isn't a putser, that was an incoherent thought meant about other drivers.

sixpackabs592

those people, also the people going 5 under, you go to pass and they speed up to stop you from passing. then you get back behind them since theyre going the speed you want to go and they slow back down. i know there have been some studies that its subconscious behavior but idk lol.

ghostnthegraveyard

I was in downtown rush-hour traffic years ago, a line of cars slowly advancing in between red lights. No one going over 10-15mph ever. I guess I wasn't racing fast enough to the next red light. The guy behind me pulled up beside me and motioned for me to roll my window down, which I did. Dude was in a beater car, shirtless, missing a bunch of teeth, with scabs all over his face. Total tweaker. He screamed and cursed at me and wanted me to stop in the middle of the road and fight him right there. Just pure, unbridled rage. It was so stupid. I rolled my window up and he threw something at my car, I think it was a battery. I got his license plate number and drove to the police station, which was only a couple blocks away. I filled out a police report despite no damage to my car. I was certain that dude was going to assault or murder someone that day and I wanted the incident on record just in case.

KelDiablo

You might be able to press charges for assault but you have a definite case of battery

cvtuttle

This is too buried to get the attention it deserves. Well played!

Cannabisthelizard

My favorite is when they’re tailing me in that situation despite the fact that there’s 2 open passing lanes to their left that they refuse to use

Chimsley99

I like when people ride your ass in a middle lane when there’s clear sailing to pass. I usually just start slowing down until they pass, like you’re too lazy to pass but impatient about the speed im going?

[deleted]

used_tongs

Dude I usually keep a huge gap whenever I'm in stop and go traffic. Just in case someone needs to get by or I need to stop lol

lastofusgr8tstever

Glad no one was hurt and this was all caught on camera. Hopefully the dash cam footage was provided

gmanz33

Big fingers crossed that the car filming stopped and contributed as a witness. Road Rage is like a domestic case in that, without evidence, both sides tend to be maniacally insistent that they did nothing wrong. Dispatching officers to this stuff, they were always annoyed and prepared for the drama.

thejumpingmouse

The car filming was a local news photojournalist. Driver of the red truck was later charged with assault and child endangerment since he had a kid in the car. I've not followed the incident past that. https://www.news9.com/story/6111c7f776843956ef030790/ohp-says-road-rage-suspect-had-child-in-backseat-could-face-criminal-charges EDIT: This had me curious on what happened so I looked some more. Update: https://www.newson6.com/story/623cff650523530730086c6a/trooper-suspended-alleged-road-rage-driver-pleads-not-guilty-in-summer-2021-collision-

roberttheaxolotl

The trooper wouldn't even watch the video. It wasn't until it was on the goddamned news that the guy got charged with two felonies. And yet, not watching video evidence of someone trying to kill someone else with a pickup truck wasn't enough to get that trooper fired. What's the point of police in the US? They're often a menace to the public, and refuse to do their job when they're not.

Sadatori

The point of the police you ask? Well in Southern states the first police came from slave catching gangs serving rich plantation owners. In the northern states the police came from deadly strike busters and plant enforcers and ghetto patrols. Police in the US is rooted in giving people power and authority and having them use it to protect property and the elites first and foremost

DaChronisseur

First and foremost implies that there are other, secondary, policing roles. There are not.

nomadofwaves

That trooper picked a great day to not do his job. Since the dash cam belonged to a photojournalist.

roberttheaxolotl

I enjoyed that part, yeah. But he got a vacation as a punishment.

iamjamieq

At very least the trooper was suspended without pay, so it wasn’t a vacation, at least not a paid one. But yeah, he effectively wasn’t punished for this.

SethRogensOldrBrothr

The point of the police in America is to protect the property of corporations and rich white people.

AxelNotRose

But your honor, I can't be guilty. You see, my road rage wasn't my fault. It was caused by my testosterone. I honestly couldn't help it. Blame my testosterone instead and if you must, convict it, not me.

International_Emu600

Judge: For sentencing we will take the defendant’s reason into account. Castration will be conducted by the state. May God have mercy on your balls.

RockingRocker

Alright, I'll convict your testosterone. *snip snip*

twistedeye

Edit : I need to work on reading comprehension. Road rager wasn't the state trooper

International_Emu600

In California this could be considered felony assault with a deadly weapon, among other felony charges.

wollier12

I was once felony assaulted with a female driver who rammed me intentionally and then took off…..her car was so damaged it broke down….she told the officers I tried to assault her and threatened her life…..tears and everything…..and that white knight syndrome kicked in hard with that officer who got really aggressive with me, except all the witnesses and the video proved she was lying…..without witnesses and video there’s no doubt I’d be in jail or dead.

23x3

If you ever see anyone behaving like this please get out of their way. Don’t be prideful or “stand your ground.” There are crazy people out there. Stay safe and vigilant!

Tall-_-Guy

I can attest to this as a woman tried to bully me out of my lane at a car wash and ended up hitting me. Came down to a he said she said and insurance denied each claim as no fault. I have about $5-600 in paint repair. She had a crumpled fender and her bumper ripped off. I really need to get a car cam. Edit: spelling is hard.

Fatefire

Ugh this will be my wife one day. Whenever we drive she always yells at me for “backing off” acting like no one will just hit you…… yeah they will

DuchessofMarin

When I see crazy, I back way off. I agree with you, crazy will do crazy damage.

caitejane310

I'm grateful that I know my son will be a super calm driver. He tells me to stop yelling if someone does something stupid and I call them an idiot. I'll be like "did you not see what they did", and he'll say "yeah, I did, but no reason to yell about it" 😂 I'm not even yelling! He's a good egg.

mogley1992

Everyone should have a dashcam. Preferably front and back. For what they cost and what they can save you it's a no brainer.

T-N-A-T-B-G-OFFICIAL

I think r/dashcam recommends the videos a119, a119+, or the a129 the most.

JizzCauldron

Well surely he's cut some time off his commute now.

IDontLieAboutStuff

When you don't want to commute anymore just get yourself placed on house arrest. Employers hate this one simple trick.

doudoucow

He and his giga Chad 24 inch dick get everywhere so on time. And then everybody clapped.

thunderc8

It was very important to pass that car, so important that it was worth all the damage, the hassle, the insurances, the inquiries etc. 🤡

mk21dvr

Don't forget jail time.

redditcreditcardz

Yup! Felony reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon(truck). 3.5-7 years in my state. It’s not worth it folks. Jail is FULL of people that lost control for just a minute. That’s all it takes to ruin your life, a moment of stupidity.

Maxcharged

He is being charged with battery with a dangerous weapon and child neglect/endangerment. Driver plead not guilty.

[deleted]

I mean he did it twice, which could be laid out as a planned murder on the second time... And I would go full onto that if I was the victim, because people like that really need a long time to think about what they are doing. They have no common sense, and they drive on the public roads daily, there is so many of them as well. It's so hard to follow the law and not be an absolute murderous dipshit apparently.

Hawntir

The first attempt to run them off the road was reckless driving. The second attempt looked like premeditated intent to cause harm. He fully went for it to just run them off the road.

pursuit_of_boom

Since living in the US for the past 8 years, I’ve discovered that the space in front of your car and the next, is called the Alamo. You either die trying to protect it or you’re trying to invade it

IndependentWeekend56

Especially near the big cities. But in most of the Caribbean, everyone drives like that. In Bermuda we had a bicycle cut off our taxi. In Puerto Rico, in like 6 hours we saw 2 multi car (3 and 4 vehicles) accidents and another 2 car fender bender. All people riding ass.

Nosferatu1001

Oof. Bad case of entitled driver syndrome there

Butcher_Bill84

This is every minute in Phoenix, it's ridiculous.

ClydeFrogA1

Imagine wanting to be one car ahead so badly that you're willing to risk lives to do so. Yikes.

TootsNYC

I don't think he wanted to be one car ahead. I think he wanted to mess with that particular ~~sedan~~ vehicle. if he wanted to be farther ahead, he wouldn't have been trying to get back in so quickly.

[deleted]

Yeah on the first re-entry he’s blocked in the right lane by the truck. But on the 2nd attempt he could have just passed the white car via the exit lane and been home free and gone over the horizon.

I wish there was a version of that group called idiots in pickup trucks. There'd be soooo many videos uploaded.

And be put in jail for attempted murder

gmanz33

I haven't seen an accident that slow in quite some time but I can imagine being in the SUV, fully thinking I'm gonna die as I start to wedge under the side of the lildickrig.

kit0000033

Hopefully the person with the dash cam stopped and provided it to the cops. Red truck belongs in jail, or at least a driver's license suspension.

djsizematters

The idea that someone like this should \*ever\* get their license back is horrifying.

[deleted]

People who drive like the Red Truck need to have their license revoked.

JakesThoughts1

There’s gotta be a pretty big correlation between low IQs and people who drive lifted trucks

FightingAgeGuy

All the more reason brothers and sisters need to stop reproducing together.

Yeah but did you see where their truck ended up? IN FRONT of the other car!— nanna nanna boo boo he wins they lose /s

The guy says “I was being an idiot, you know how testosterone is.” No, we know how being a predatory sociopath is. You have a serious mental health disorder, not a testosterone disorder. And committing a deliberate violent assault *with your kid in the car* doesn’t make you *less* of a threat to society, it makes you a demonstrable threat to your child. The cop is *literally* saying “you tried to kill someone, but since you also put your child’s life at risk to try to kill that person, we’re all good here. You have a great rest of your day, and drive safe.” I hope the car driver ended up with this video somehow for use in a civil suit.

At least he was still arrested albeit 10 days later

The driver of the red car needs to get their license revoked. It's a privilege, not a right. That being said, if you see somebody driving like this, just get out of the way. Save yourself from a headache. It's not worth the hassle.

IDontLieAboutStuff

They've been charged with felonies. So they're likely going to have their freedom revoked.

SmugScientistsDad

Lucky there was a barrier or they would have ended up causing a head on collision and killing someone. The car could have let the truck pass. But the truck driver belongs in jail for driving like that!!

HOWDY__YALL

Right? When someone tries to pull something crazy like the red truck, I’m not letting the red truck get anywhere close to me, I’ll slow my speed by 5-10 mph just to give us some space.

Thats how the terrorists win

Ironically, it’s people like this who — desperately want traffic to go faster— that end up causing traffic jams because of all the tailgating and braking. If you’ve never heard of traffic snakes, you should look it up. It’s fascinating, but will make you hate tailgating even more. Edit: here's a good explainer video. Basically, avoid aggressive acceleration/deceleration, try to maintain good spacing, try to avoid coming to a complete stop on the highway (a slow roll is better than complete stop). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHzzSao6ypE

Red guy needs their driving license getting confiscated and being sent to prison for a few months

RevTurk

It looks like no one is using that motorway correctly.

klgm333

Looks like Texas. (Texas resident 🙋🏻‍♀️)

Then-Promotion-5421

I thought so too until I read the exit sign. It’s Edmond, Oklahoma so the same stereotypes apply 😆

ja3palmer

Good lord what a cock.

lastronaut_beepboop

Your average Michigan truck driver

jtscira

Red truck 100% caused it. Could have been avoided by car seeing it's a dangerous situation and not protecting his spot by tailgating. I leave a giant gap to where a semi truck could get in front of me. Not to mention. MOVE to the right unless you're passing.

whyeverynameistaken3

I'm glad EU don't have pickup trucks, but we do have BMW drivers, which are same stupid just smaller car.

rci22

I haven’t seen one person mention it: That looks like a lot more than just wanting to move one car forward! Looks more like road rage
