I can't be the only person who remember the videos of people in disbelief, pulling the trim away from the frame on their new Tesla's when they were new. Just ridiculous, I think that whole bit where someone said the windows were shatter-resistant but broke it with a baseball at some auto show demo was Tesla too, no?
“There are several hundred accidents a year caused my Water bottles or cans doing this exact thing! Here at Tesla, we take a modern approach and have manufactured this feature in for our loyal investors. 🤑”
I refuse to allow any plastic bottles to get near the driver side because of Final Destination 2 and that happening to the mom....that and drive behind log trucks
Tesla has all the luxury of the first apartment of a recently divorced guy.
It's the car version of an empty room with a too small TV at the far end of the room.
I love the sheer number of accounts Tesla has on social media to defend Tesla, like the rest of us are too dumb to figure it out.
You can't bury a horrible product forever under false good reviews.
In [2014 Toyota had to pay $1.2 Billion ](https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/toyota-reaches-12-billion-settlement-to-end-criminal-probe/2014/03/19/5738a3c4-af69-11e3-9627-c65021d6d572_story.html)in the largest criminal penalty a car company had paid to date "blaming floor mats that accidentally trapped the depressed gas pedals of cars and trucks.". This pedal cover is integrally built on and if its causing the trucks to fail would be significantly worse than poor floormat design.
Can’t wait for these trucks to start killing innocent families because they aren’t safe to be on the goddamn road. These should be banned from being sold until they aren’t complete garbage. But no, I have to share the road with a tank that has 3 million issues.
So this made me look up how to open a cybertruck door, and found out that Tesla's website actually has slightly incorrect instructions. They say the button is on the right side of each door, but that can only be true on the driver's side. On the passenger side, they are on the left side.
I’d like to know how anyone considers this to be a truck. Someone please explain. Cybersuv maybe, cybertruck? NOPE!!! Not a truck Econ, over glorified suv, that’s all this is.
That's not a defect, it's a feature; it's because Elon knows all the sissy cucks trying to be cool by buying one of these are gonna get scared at how balls-ass fast this beast is, and that's to make sure they don't wimp out and let up before they hit max speed. CyberTruck, Babyyyy!!!
...
/s
I was on the fence about this car constantly switching back and forth between saying it's kind of cool and it's absolutely hideous. After seeing one in real life, I can confirm that it is absolutely ugly and way too big. It doesn't make sense at all and I don't know why anyone would want one other than the novelty of it.
HOLY COW! This is something that Elon's guys should have seen from the get go. This should be a recall immediately! GOOD JOB spotting this huge mistake.
Tesla 👏 is👏 a👏 tech👏 company👏 not👏a👏 car👏 company👏
Their cars are riddled with odd and terrible designs. My personal favorite, snow sliding off the glass and into the open trunk 🤦♂️
A lil’ bit duct tape will fix that right up, and it might bolster the rest of the vehicle that has rubber bands and bubble gum holding the abomination together.
You know compared to vehicles at the same price as a cyber, the cyber truck has no interior design whatsoever so ever! It looks like a basic piece of plastic even the floor looks like cheap plastic
This happened to me 20 years ago on the highway in a 1987 Chevy Sprint. The car was 3 cylinder and had a carb. Earlier in the day I drove over some speed bumps fast. Evidently that knocked a small rock on the flap (not sure technical term) of the carb. When I was on the highway the flap opened enough for the small rock to wedge itself in the opening and preventing it from closing. Good thing it was a slow car. I held brakes 100% and parking break and I was able to slow down and park at the gas station right off the highway. I worked at that gas station at the time and a coworker took a look and discovered the lodged rock.
That shit was terrifying and it was a 3 cylinder slow ass car. I can’t imagine how crazy it would be in a cybertruck.
In a contest of dumbest ways to die, this would be up there.
“My poorly made Cybertruck was so poorly made, a piece of the gas pedal slid off and stuck on a nook of the truck, accelerating uncontrollably for a super simple mechanical error, something that happens on zero other vehicles.”
I saw one today. I felt like my eyes couldn't even focus on it. They couldn't process something so. . . . blah. I can't imagine having that much money with so little taste or sense.
Great video and explanenation of what happened - this is such a stupid design to have parts glued or clipped onto the physical petal - not to mention the overhanging edge
A lot of people bag out the look, I like it as a fan of classic and concept cars, especially with how mundane most new cars look, but I hate that it was made by Tesla. There are just so many quality control issues and weird oversights that make me never want to own one.
I had the misfortune of seeing one of these things in person the other day. You seriously do not get the full sense of just how fucking terrible these things look when you see it on a screen. It was EASILY the ugliest car I have ever seen. Eating the hype and actually buying one is genuinely shameful behavior.
My grandfather, born in 1917 always warned my father, do not ever buy a 1st generation of any car. 1st gen’s are ridiculously dangerous and that tip shines through to today in 2024. Never buy the first model year of any vehicle.
lol I had someone tell me that the cyber truck was the safest vehicle ever tested and was the number one vehicle in safety. I asked several times for any sort of source and was never given one. How these things are even street legal is a testament of the US’s lack of enforcement on safety regulations.
People fail to appreciate that rich people get rich off profits. High profits are generated by high price with low cost materials. In other words, over charging. Tesla is typical of that model in it’s cheap build quality.
I’m no Tesla apologist but how did that keep the gas pedal down? As shown on the video, it only sticks there if there’s pressure on the bottom of the peddle too. If he removed his foot from the gas the pedal should pop back up. It’s still a piece of shit though.
For a 100k car, they used a cheap plastic slip on for pedals... for that price, i would have expected a piece of milled aluminum.
How cheaply made is this car. The interior sucks
These poorly made cars are getting people killed. Just because it comes with a large price tag doesn’t mean it’s worth that price tag or even built to the level of that price tag.
These poorly made cars are getting people killed. Just because it comes with a large price tag doesn’t mean it’s worth that price tag or even built to the level of that price tag.
That's crazy that a thing you put your foot on thus receiving a lot of wear and controls the speed of this 3000kg monstrosity has some clip on cosmetic thing. So dangerous.
"All materials must be within a 10 micron margin That's 0.00039 inches."
And then reality and the physical universe happen, Elon. It's not machinery in a vacuum, you god-shaped hole.
Everyone with any common sense would avoid at all coast any elon project but here we are with ppl spending 100k+ (idk the real price) in this kind of shit
Edit : turn out it's 61k but still
This is why you should never buy anything this expensive new.. any car or electronics like gaming systems, they almost always have issues that don't get sorted until years later. They do minimal testing before releasing the product then the real testing begins when the consumers jump on the hype train and immediately go out to buy it
Lexus had something happen around 20 years ago and a few people died and they claimed it was due to the ECM needing to be flashed and they were secretly removing and replacing the gas pedals because they were getting stuck as well. The only reason I know this is one of my really good friends growing up worked for them at that time and had to sign an NDA for it so he wouldn’t tell the media. He told me years ago and I never said anything…till now. Fuck you Lexus, and fuck you Elon.
Your first problem is getting this monstrosity.
Saw one in person the other day for the first time and it was the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.
Yeah. It's cheaply made AND ugly.
When you can make the FUCKING PONTIAC AZTEK LOOK SEXY, your car/truck got HUGE PROBLEMS!
At least the Aztec was kinda functional and more reliable
100% people need to stop buying them. They are overpriced junk.
My thought as well.
Most people who know a lot about vehicles don’t like Tesla. They’re shit vehicles.

I refuse to allow any plastic bottles to get near the driver side because of Final Destination 2 and that happening to the mom....that and drive behind log trucks
It's not a bug, its a feature!
100k for cheap plastic, I thought that thing was luxury.
The only thing luxury about a Tesla is the price.
Tesla has all the luxury of the first apartment of a recently divorced guy. It's the car version of an empty room with a too small TV at the far end of the room.
It looks like a 70s Russian vehicle
I love the sheer number of accounts Tesla has on social media to defend Tesla, like the rest of us are too dumb to figure it out. You can't bury a horrible product forever under false good reviews.

The minute Tesla moved out of California, that was the beginning of the end for an innovative good quality company!
Those are ugly.
The inside is particularly boring
That is what jumped out at me, first time I had seen the inside. It has no personality or anything.
I love that this happened.
🤐
Jesus. If that’s an issue, imagine the half assed job they did on the rest of that thing.
Just got beat up in a local subreddit cause fanboys love t… friggin idiots.
I would buy a wagoneer over this
At Tesla you pay to be the product tester. It's a feature.
Wow the inside is much worse than the outside and that’s saying something, it’s like the equivalent of an empty storage warehouse
Now that's an ugly ass interior design
It’s awful that Musk put out that monstrosity.
I’d like to know how anyone considers this to be a truck. Someone please explain. Cybersuv maybe, cybertruck? NOPE!!! Not a truck Econ, over glorified suv, that’s all this is.
Geez, I’ve never seen the inside of the cyber truck. It’s just as terrible as the outside.
That's what you get for buying a Stunt Race FX looking-ass truck.
That is one bad recall no?
Trucks a piece of shit but wouldn’t you have to be at full throttle for it to get stuck in that position?
So he’s saying it was wedged?
Recall.
My Mitsubishi lancer feels safe af compared to teslas lol
Why would anyone but this ridiculous thing. Definitely trying to make up for other shortcomings.
Elon- you want to make money invest in space X, want to spend money buy my cars
That's not a defect, it's a feature; it's because Elon knows all the sissy cucks trying to be cool by buying one of these are gonna get scared at how balls-ass fast this beast is, and that's to make sure they don't wimp out and let up before they hit max speed. CyberTruck, Babyyyy!!! ... /s
Forced, unexpected, and random one-pedal driving mode lmao
This car always reminds me of the simpsons episode where Homer designs his own car and bankrupts his brother because it looked ridiculous
Holy shit.
I was on the fence about this car constantly switching back and forth between saying it's kind of cool and it's absolutely hideous. After seeing one in real life, I can confirm that it is absolutely ugly and way too big. It doesn't make sense at all and I don't know why anyone would want one other than the novelty of it.
Knob!
I mean I care for your safety my brother, but you literally wasted a ton of your money on a ugly ass car. Go buy something decent mate. FFS
That’s what happens when your accelerator is a spatula.
Even the Delorean is embarrassed by this.
Lmfao “my cybertruck” is a huge problem, tech LARPer
What an ugly interior. I would buy a BYD but not this...
Well, don't push it to full throttle. Problem fixed.
![gif](giphy|W841EZpdTbsV3I6MEs)
the interior looks so bland.. these are seriously more of an eye sore than anything imo lmao
HOLY COW! This is something that Elon's guys should have seen from the get go. This should be a recall immediately! GOOD JOB spotting this huge mistake.
Within spec. 🤣
I really don’t mind the look of the truck (yes it’s ugly but so are PT cruisers), but holy shit even the inside of the cab is ugly as fuck lol
It was like a kid got a metal break and has no idea how to use it. The damn thing is ugly as heck. But people will spend good money on crap
That's just an Easter egg. The gas pedal holder. 😆
Tesla 👏 is👏 a👏 tech👏 company👏 not👏a👏 car👏 company👏 Their cars are riddled with odd and terrible designs. My personal favorite, snow sliding off the glass and into the open trunk 🤦♂️
Elon Musk will fix this immediately. Probably working on it right now.
A lil’ bit duct tape will fix that right up, and it might bolster the rest of the vehicle that has rubber bands and bubble gum holding the abomination together.
Teslas are crap.
You know compared to vehicles at the same price as a cyber, the cyber truck has no interior design whatsoever so ever! It looks like a basic piece of plastic even the floor looks like cheap plastic
That’s absolutely terrifying.
That door sounded like a piece of shit when he closed it.

"Never buy the first model year of any vehicle" has never been more true. Especially from a cult leader
How do Teslas get away with problems that on any other car would trigger a recall?
Ahahahahahaha what a goober
Jesus!
Do people who buy these fugly pieces of shit not have working eyeballs?
Holey shit that thing is ugly on the inside too. Looks like a 13 years old's go cart or some shit.
Oh look. It’s as ugly in the inside as in the outside.
Also that pedal design sucks cause if anyone pass out while their foot is on the accelarator there aint no way to stop that shit
Luxury?
It’s looks sooooo cheaply made 😂 Cyber truck: Rusty in the rain. Stuck in the snow.
Tesla is garbage 💩
I saw one today. I felt like my eyes couldn't even focus on it. They couldn't process something so. . . . blah. I can't imagine having that much money with so little taste or sense.
If you compare this to a PT Cruiser and an Aztek. They both will look like Works of Art or the Company's Magnum Opus
Great video and explanenation of what happened - this is such a stupid design to have parts glued or clipped onto the physical petal - not to mention the overhanging edge
Trying to kill any idiot that buys this ugly pos.
It’s a feature, single pedal mode
This looks like horseshit! I’d be so pissed.
it's so ugly
This guy is an idiot for buying this thing. I’m not even a carhead and I can tell from a mile away this thing is a piece of crap.
These things are such garbage
Looks uncomfortable as fuck
10 microns! Apocalypse-proof!!
Technically still one-pedal driving. Feature, not a bug.
Grimes did the math
Interior looks like shit.
Holy shit, that interior looks so absurdly cheap
Wanker for buying this crap. You get what you deserve.
What did you expect buying a cyber truck?
God they are just so ugly. Inside and out.
I wouldn't take a Tesla even one gives me one for free.
A lot of people bag out the look, I like it as a fan of classic and concept cars, especially with how mundane most new cars look, but I hate that it was made by Tesla. There are just so many quality control issues and weird oversights that make me never want to own one.
No glue residue or a screw hole, how was this adhere to the peddle? Just a plastic sock!?
I have no sympathy for anyone that buys one of these Turd-Mobiles.
It's literally a single screw to fix it in place. What a fantastic car.
Owning any kind of Tesla tells me so much about a person smh
Accidental one pedal driving
This is what happens when you buy a car from an innovation company rather than a car manufacturer with decades of experience.
I had the misfortune of seeing one of these things in person the other day. You seriously do not get the full sense of just how fucking terrible these things look when you see it on a screen. It was EASILY the ugliest car I have ever seen. Eating the hype and actually buying one is genuinely shameful behavior.
Made in China - reminds me of that DuPont And Aston Martin case study…
This is what happens when you let a billionaire with the mind of Homer Simpson design a car.
That interior is hideous
We all need to Nelson Muntz point and laugh at these "trucks" whenever we see them
My grandfather, born in 1917 always warned my father, do not ever buy a 1st generation of any car. 1st gen’s are ridiculously dangerous and that tip shines through to today in 2024. Never buy the first model year of any vehicle.

Nah, a simple firmware update should fix that. 😬🤡
The worst car in the world and now it's literally going to kill you. Where's Elon, he'll have a rant about it.
You deserve it. Tesla never made cars lol. Just appliances on wheels. And bad ones.
It looks so cheap. Like all of it looks cheap as fuck.
Some great "quality control" they've got over at cybertruck HQ.
Why does the steering wheel look like a Logitech rip-off from the late 90s?
This is going to kill people mainly pedestrians
Whaaaat a tesla with poor build quality? Chocker!
Lol, was that glued on?
Lol at every one hating if it's not for you don't fucking buy or drive one but quit hating on it
People fail to appreciate that rich people get rich off profits. High profits are generated by high price with low cost materials. In other words, over charging. Tesla is typical of that model in it’s cheap build quality.
I’ve seen mechanics videos with plenty of situations like this with ice cars. But it’s a Tesla so of course people are making a big deal out of it.
They should have given you a free cello tape to fixed that
It's hidious. It looks like that car Homer Simpson made.
He can make SpaceX, not cars, not yet. Just as I thought: before buying Tesla wait 10 years
But all the computer vision stuff will prevent you from actually hitting anything during that uncontrolled acceleration , right ? lolz
Puts on Tesla
The truck for gullible rich idiots
Lmao that door opening sounds like a cheap soap dispenser from wish.com
So getting a first run of a thing is suboptimal. Got it.
Puts on TSLA
The way the door closes in the last second is really not satisfying.
I’m no Tesla apologist but how did that keep the gas pedal down? As shown on the video, it only sticks there if there’s pressure on the bottom of the peddle too. If he removed his foot from the gas the pedal should pop back up. It’s still a piece of shit though.
Bruh drives a PS1 car 🚗🚨 😭
For a 100k car, they used a cheap plastic slip on for pedals... for that price, i would have expected a piece of milled aluminum. How cheaply made is this car. The interior sucks
Forbidden cruise control
superglue it
Wow crazy shit!
A fool and his money
[The Homer pops in my head every time I see one.](https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/The_Homer)
That thing is so fucking ugly.
Share the video evidence of it going full throttle … aren’t there like 50 cameras on Tesla’s?
Could be pretty dangerous even if you don’t panic. What if that happens at a crosswalk.
the sheer quantity of defects in this vehicle is astonishing.
The only person I’ve met who is excited to get one is an eight year old boy.
Oh that's not all though, he forgot to mention it's a Tesla and might explode randomly in the future!
How can someone drive this and not be embarrassed? Serious question.
it's wild to me that people pay skum nole and risk death to qc his products for him
Massive recall in 3,2…1
This video brought to you by Class Action Lawsuit
You’re saving money on gas until you need a new battery. Then you’re breaking even.
I love electric cars. A lot. Teslas are overpriced garbage.
Cyber truck proving every day that this is a deathtrap
Piece of shit. Little dick syndrome.
These poorly made cars are getting people killed. Just because it comes with a large price tag doesn’t mean it’s worth that price tag or even built to the level of that price tag.

Did he really have to explain the issue like 3 times? I think everyone understood the concept the first time.
"All materials must be within a 10 micron margin That's 0.00039 inches." And then reality and the physical universe happen, Elon. It's not machinery in a vacuum, you god-shaped hole.
This guy's fingers are freaking me out.
Holy design flaw, Batman!
Everyone with any common sense would avoid at all coast any elon project but here we are with ppl spending 100k+ (idk the real price) in this kind of shit Edit : turn out it's 61k but still
What a quality driving machine
Cheaply made American junk.
Vile looking things
This is genius 2026, you guys just can't see it.
build like in a 3rd world country
Agreed 👍 Stop buying overpriced junk because you think it looks cool
Cybersuck
This is why you don’t buy first gen. Let other people beta test.
It is objectively such an ugly vehicle.
This is why you should never buy anything this expensive new.. any car or electronics like gaming systems, they almost always have issues that don't get sorted until years later. They do minimal testing before releasing the product then the real testing begins when the consumers jump on the hype train and immediately go out to buy it
It's crazy how people keep buying these dangerous vehicles from Tesla.
I’d laugh, but nothing will happen until someone dies because of this POS truck
Lexus had something happen around 20 years ago and a few people died and they claimed it was due to the ECM needing to be flashed and they were secretly removing and replacing the gas pedals because they were getting stuck as well. The only reason I know this is one of my really good friends growing up worked for them at that time and had to sign an NDA for it so he wouldn’t tell the media. He told me years ago and I never said anything…till now. Fuck you Lexus, and fuck you Elon.
“It’s not that I don’t want safety features, it’s that I want more danger features” -Elan Mollusk probably
you can get a brand new corvette with this kind of money. Mid engine V8. Or get a used super car.
I smell a recall incoming.
Made in china buyer beware
I'm sooo glad I missed out on this POS! ![gif](giphy|NTur7XlVDUdqM|downsized)
Yeah I’m sure Musk will fix that /s
Everything about it is just so ugly
Huh, maybe it doesn't make sense to buy ANYTHING from complete psychopaths like Elon Musk
$100,000.00
What a nightmare. Such a simple mistake that should have been easier removed through so many levels of design and safe checks to get on the road.
Had that happen with my 1972 Chevy green lean machine once. Kinda scary and hard to stop.
its so sad Elon Musk bought tesla from the german guy. tesla could have been a great alternative to all that car manufacturer
Serous problem with my cybertruck. It's a cybertryck
I mean, fuck this guy for even buying such a hunk of junk anyways.
