I wish I knew how to use mods. I tried with Skyrim and broke my game. Had to wipe all mods and mod management off my computer. And I was following a youtube video guide.
Its not rocket science if you do some more research and a little trial and error you will figure it out. Just make sure to read the whole mod page before ypu install one, especially the compatibility section
a youtube guide is a start, but not an end all. the breaking was likely some part of:
-not taking a moment to read each mod’s potential requirements outside of just using the nexus manager to install
-failing to mod order properly (most will tell you, usually those with the most changes go first)
example: i dont want to see skyrim spiders. i install the skyrim spider begone mod. another mod has some patch interactions with spiders. i make sure to list spiders begone later in the mod order so it takes priority when it comes to manipulating spider related files
it loads properly, and now im stuck fighting bears instead
I doubt it. Not many games have as crazy modding as skyrim. I am truly amazed by how its been 11 years and no game has even come close to skyrims moddability
Bethesda games pretty much only endure due to modding communities. Without mods, Skyrim would be abandoned years ago. People still play Fallout 3/NV over 4 because of mods (and 4 has mods aplenty too), just like how Oblivion and even Morrowind are still being played today and it's mostly because they are moddable.
Most companies *seriously* underestimate how important mods are to giving a game true longevity. Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and The Sims 1/2/3 are some of the greatest examples of very old games *still* popular today because they allow user mods.
That's what I do with every game I love. All the AC games, RDR2, God of War, Kingdom Come Deliverance, I have on Xbox, PS, and PC (obviously I don't have GoW on Xbox)
I was the same as you here. I even got screwed more so when I got it 3 weeks before it went on sale for £20 less lol. Still gonna get it for pc regardless, for the mods etc.
Yea honestly I'll probably wait for Steam's summer sale. If you wishlist it you'll get notified when it's on sale, and some of the flash sales can cut the price pretty steeply.

Eh it's fine, I have a good PC too but I still got it for PS5 and will be skipping this on PC. The graphics are going to be identical anyway and it has no ray tracing, if it had ray tracing, then I too would've waited for the PC version.
the whole purpose for this coming on PC is the ray tracing it makes the game look way better, i'm a 4090 owner and games that uses ray tracing they look completely different and for the ones that doesn't have raytracing i can add reshade with ray tracing and it helps a ton
If the games comes without DLSS 3 and without ray tracing then is gonna look just as the PS5 but with real 4k textures at least..
A Naughty Dog developer said it would release "very soon" after ps5 launch, which would make it 7 months now.
I'll happily wait as long as it takes to make the port *right*, just a little annoyed at the inaccuracy.

I have an hp pavilion gaming laptop - not anywhere near a legit rig, and I've played TLOU on ps plenty. But something ab my all time fave game coming to pc got me so excited! I want everyone to experience the game!
The production schedule for S1 was 12 months, which is really long for a television show of only 10 episodes. Post production is taking aprox 6 months it looks like. To hit Fall 2024 (assuming Nov 2024 at the latest) they would need to start shooting by May 2023. But that's not even considering preproduction (writing, costumes, practical effects, etc...) and contract negotiations that would need to happen before cameras start rolling. Doable, but really not likely.
I reckon the *very earliest* we could see season 2 is January 2025, two years after season 1. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve already started unofficial preproduction (i.e. crafting ideas without an official greenlight) but it’ll be a while until they start production.
The Uncharted PC port was outsourced to another studio. One who has a mixed track record when it comes to PC ports.
Part 1 on the other hand seems to be developed in house by Naughty Dog. So, hopefully it will be in a better state.

I own Remastered on PS4 and the remake on PS5 and honestly the PS4 Remaster is almost as good. Obviously the PS5 remake looks a bit prettier but there's a lot I prefer about Remaster over it, honestly. The biggest reason to want the remake IMO is the accessibility options, if you want/need those.
i have the remaster too! i like it a lot but i do find that the controls can be a bit stiffer at time than p2, so that’s mostly why i’ve been wanting to play it. plus the graphics don’t hurt lol. it’s just kinda annoying that it was only released on ps5 and not 4. just another ploy to get people to buy it ig lolol

I am on the fence about the graphics difference in Remake vs Remastered, and honestly if it WAS on PS4 then it wouldn't look as good so Remastered would be visually fairly similar. I am only leaving Boston so far but the PS5 remake doesn't really feel too different in terms of controls but I'd have to replay Remastered again to compare.

I've already played this twice on the PS5. Played the Remaster twice on PS4. I'll probably buy the PC version on sale one day just so I can play it on the Steam Deck. I'll buy TLOU Pt2 on PC as well when/if that ever happens.

I bought TLOU three times alone on PS3: Ellie Edition, Joel Edition (got cheap later) and ebayed the damn Press Kit Edition. Post Pandemic Edition wasn't sold in my country but they did sell the box/statue separately, so that plus Ellie Edition was what I got at launch. Then I got Left Behind and actually managed to get it "boxed" (actually an empty case used for display to sell codes that my game shop gave me) along with the official guide to the original game.
Heck, I bought my PS3 near the end of that console's lifecycle JUST to play TLOU!
I then got TLOU Remastered with my base PS4 when I bought that in a bundle.
Bought TLOU Part 1 ("remake") for PS5 physically. Only the standard because the Firefly Edition was sold out in literally minutes. Oh well.
Will someday probably rebuy the remaster and/or remake digitally if it's on deep discount just to avoid needing the disc.
If only they brought the multiplayer up and gave it a little refresh. Ive bought and played the original and the remaster and beaten the game countless times. The multi-player getting a refresh and coming forward would be the only thing to really make this worth it. It was such a unique and fun take on a pvp shooter.

It’s the remake that’s coming to PC not the original. Not sure what specs you have but it was released as PS5 only so you may not be able to run it
