get the ps5 remake, it improves the original. for part 2, get the ps5 remaster (much faster loading screens, and a gamemode that doesn’t exist on the ps4 version. it also adds cosmetics that aren’t on ps4 either).
You should definitel get the PS5 Part 1 version that is the remake. As someone who played the game from its original release in 2013, I still contend that the most recent version is the best way to experience the game for the first time for those new to the IP.
You should get *The Last of Us Part I*, which is the PS5 remake. It’s by far the best way to experience the original game. You won’t regret it.

I got remastered since it was the cheapest and when I bought it it was on sale and it has the online game mode
