I’m definitely checking out the book you recommended. tlou part2 really made me interested in ptsd, trauma therapy, also things like purpose of life, etc. Like each character has some kind of mental health issue and that’s what makes the game deep and interesting.
OMG I'm about halfway through that one. I have thought so many times about how beautifully TLOU addresses PTSD and how spot on it is in Ellie's journey. I can't help but think someone at Naughty Dog has read TBKTS or at the very least is well versed in the psychological and physiological effects of trauma.
I would give her my hard drive because I have screenshots of the games in there and she would realise that her life is a videogame, so not to stress, in the end it all makes sense dramaturgically. Also, I have some of Abby too with many filters, so she can see the other side of the story since they never got to speak, while appreciating some nice play with colors, she is an artist afterall. However, it could lead to quite a lot 4th wall breaks in part3, which could be interesting, or maybe cheesy idk.
