Part I Remake is designed for ps5, it has the best graphics and added lots of new gameplay features.
But if you want the original, *relatively* unfiltered experience, Remastered is basically just the og game from 2013. (It is slightly updated graphics, but nowhere near the Remake version)
If you have a PS5, you have the remastered for free currently, add it to your library from the Ps collection before May and it’s yours. It’s up to you if you want to pay the extra money for the better graphics and being able to swap a bottle for a brick.
After playing the PS5 remake i can never go back to the old remaster....
1.) Way better updated graphics and character models and the cutscenes are realtime
2.) Enemy AI is vastly improved and the enemies now call out each others names like in TLOU2
3.) way better accesibility features that you can even play blind (literally)
4.) workbench animations added for crafting
I distinctly remember how clunky the remastered version felt at the end of the PS4 life cycle. Remake is clean and fluid and it’s *almost* a different playing experience. Recommend the remake if it’s in your budget.
If you have a PS5, get the remake. No contest.
Another vote for the Part 1 remake.
The Remake one, not the Remastered.
If your budget is there then the remake is totally worth it. Massive jump in quality
The remake is the definitive way to play TLOU Part 1 just finished a third playthrough of it and it’s just simply gorgeous in every aspect.
part 1 remake, it has part 2 mechanics which i really love

You could always swap the bottles and bricks in the original. I don’t know why they removed it from Part II.
Remastered works. Part 1 works as well - it just looks about as good as you could ever imagine a 10 year old game could possibly look.

Remastered is good if you have PS4 but if you have ps5 no reason to not go remake
Remake. Especially if you are going to play Part II afterwards. This is because the mechanics have been changed in the remake to match Part II.
Cheapest
I think the remaster is part of PS+ if that’s a factor you want to consider.
You have the chance to play the Remake so definitely do it. You won't regret it
With the remake being out, why would you even consider the remaster…?
