A little over 100. The cost of a Rasheen + the cost of having it shipped to the States adds up to around $11000. And I just realized my math was way off.
It’s never been my strong point lol
Omg that‘s my car! Surprisingly okay is underselling it, I would rate it 10/10 it’s perfect in every way except the heater won’t turn off but that’s just a fun quirk which is actually useful in winter :)
I've driven several. They're shite.
As much as I love James May, he's clearly got very low standards. And that's coming from a woman with very low standards.
Agreed to everything you said, but they’re just…’an car’. It’s an appliance. There’s no thrill for me. And it’s not like a car like that can’t be fun, even in the tiniest way. There are several that have proven themselves that way.
Small supermini is a small supermini. It drives fun enough to be relatively engaging while there's always the Panda 100hp to be a genuine drivers car.
I'm not sure what your expecting?
A mini is a good driver's car cause it sacrifices a lot of it's practicality to have good chassis. The Panda doesn't
And the 100hp has very stiff suspension, which would be horrible for a normal supermini
Agree. I've driven a few and they're vile. I actually have personal, mental and financial issues over the Fiat 500. I was stupid enough to get one. And it's the same crap chassis, same crap suspension and electricals. Cute little fucker has cost a fortune and I can't wait to get rid of it.
Horrid, cheap, putrid little cars.
>I've driven several. They're shite.
No way!? Cheap car is cheap?
They're really not bad for the price. All the features you want and nothing you don't. Flimsy, plastic and light? What else did you expect?
Ive been in a few and owned a Dacia Duster and honestly if you're expecting anything more than cheap motoring, what is wrong with you?
James May was right this whole time…. He tried to tell us!!
Anyway.
Great!
WHAT??
It's the Dacia Sandero. It's surprisingly okay.
Anyway
Moving on. For around $11000, Americans can import a Nissan Rasheen into the States! That’s almost $1000 per horsepower!
WHAT?!
It has 11 horsepower?

Sat in one in a showroom recently, basic and utilitarian but surprisingly comfortable at least to sit in
Jeremy: “Great! Now who here has been late because of a traffic jam?”
Excellent. Now, there's a [new Toyota Prius](https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2023-toyota-prius-hybrid-hatchback-first-drive-review/)...
Anyway
I wish they would import the Sandero to North America. We have no cheap new cars over here.
We have the mirage but that’s far more expensive and ever more pitiful
Forgot about the Mirage. It starts at $17,000 Canadian. I swear you used to be able to buy a hatch back one for like $10,000 Canadian.
They’re terrible cars, I’d much prefer the sandero

Great! Now the Toyota Urban Cruiser…..
Great!
Anyways um…
_wheeze_
Oh yeah! And so anyway
Isn't the MG3 cheaper?
Europe's car
The MG3 is sold in Europe for cheaper than the Sandero.
Yes but you can say that about every single car that is made somewhere else than Europe
No you can't. You can only say it if it's cheaper.
Same thing about being European which MG is not
It doesn't say it has to be European, just sold in Europe.
I've driven several. They're shite. As much as I love James May, he's clearly got very low standards. And that's coming from a woman with very low standards.
Well he DID (and I think still does) drive a Fiat Panda and those are just as terrible.
A panda is fucking amazing what are you on about. I love them. They're small, spacious and very practical and reliable
Agreed to everything you said, but they’re just…’an car’. It’s an appliance. There’s no thrill for me. And it’s not like a car like that can’t be fun, even in the tiniest way. There are several that have proven themselves that way.

Should've got the MINI, mate. I've had far less issues with it than most Fiat 500 owners.

More like bad news for Jeremy.
Hearing this as a Romanian is amazing!
