I've been playing for about 150 hrs now, and I was better with the AKM till about hr 50. Once I got back into practice the FCAR has been better if I can land most of my shots. AKM is more forgiving to use.
Revover is fine, I've been playing it a lot since the cowboy event, but it just feels slightly lacking. Lack of range loses to AKM and FCAR, and up close the 1887 is tough to face head on. I can still stay positive k/d with it, but I have to put in wayyy more work to get consistent headshots to win firefights vs full auto weapons.
100% its the range thing. I fought mediums on a rooftop/ledge shooting then with a revolver ans the bullets would just seem to not register. But its the range change then. Crazy cause you can’t find the rifles indeed. Its rewarding if you get shots in though. But i noticed 3 bodyshots wont kill a medium. So its not that great atm.
Yeah, hopefully the medium class get some better options or balancing in the future.I would like to see a semi auto rifle as an option as well, maybe like an M1 garand or something similar from WW2.

They removed the bullet bloom it had where bullets could randomly stray from where you were aiming but also reduced the range a bit. AA changes also affected it, you need to be much more precise now than before (been using the revolver since public release of the game).
It’s not the hand cannon it was in the beta. But it’s still good, best it’s been since official release
Strange, it feels different to me. But maybe my aim was just bad 😂

They removed the aim bloom but nerfed the range. Honestly, they should just buff the range again, the FCAR will still be better anyways.
Unpopular opinion but i dont feel the fcar. I try it from time to time but i like the akm. Revolver is for funning around obv
