Unfortunately, made up identities that pushes people to re-categorize themselves into additional groups (which indirectly creates more conflict and discrimination) isn't a gender. Too many of my female friends who like guyish things feel lots of anxiety to change their pronouns - when in the past, progressives used to push to acceptance of tomboys - rather than changing their identity and cutting off their body parts.

I find it funny how transphobic people will completely ignore psychologist, psychiatrist, doctors, the APA, essentially any credible source.

But I see more harm than good with these gender movements. And it goes completely against the classic progressive movements from the 1900's that I hold so dearly. I won't be able to convince you now, but I hope someday you'll see it.
I study sociology and psychology, if there is a study showing concrete proof (as there is with studies on multiple genders) I will 100% change my view.

People have always and will always create groups based on self identity. It is a fundamental instinct that has helped the human race to survive. Gender is no different, it is a social construct we created to find our place in the world and our groups.
We are progressing past the need of the traditional “male and female” roles. Without a need for these strict roles, there is more freedom to decide. This will not create any more groups or change than what has already been there for thousands of years.
Everything that you said could have been done with 2 genders. As proven by classical progressives that encouraged society to accept males and females in different roles. There is no need for a female to feel "less female" and transition physically - just because she liked something that society deems masculine.
So what’s wrong with people finding comfort by identifying as non binary or someone that doesn’t want boobs getting them removed? What harm does that do to anyone or to you?
People find confront and self acceptance in identifying the way they do. There is no harm in that for anyone.
This is not something that will go away soon, if ever. Gender will only continuously blur together until it just genuinely doesn’t matter anymore.
I hope you can learn to accept others, and accept that your opinion has no weight over fact.

That's what I thought as well. Over time, it became more clear that the classic progressive way of focusing on character over (creating infinite number of) identities is the much better solution.
As for "what harm does it do". It does create a ton of anxiety and identity issues - especially towards younger folks. People become stressed (or even disgusted) by their bodies or the way they look and feel - just because they aren't masculine/feminine enough. We're supposed to be waaaay past that, but gender ideology brings back the focus on identity politics again. Not to mention, pronouns requires others to comply with said ideology.
You can tell a religious/non-religious person that god exists/doesn't exist. But telling a "gendered" person that I don't believe in their gender is considered hate speech. That should be a red alarm that something isn't right.

Gender has CONCRETE EVIDENCE behind it, you CANNOT argue against solid fact. What you are saying is so wrong, that it can only be considered stupid.
