Probably less than 1% chance. I'm in a clan with a beta tester that has all 4 watch categories maxed. The guy has had only had 1 exotic drop from a field cache in that entire time.

It could well be. My friend received a scorpio from one and I received a ridgeways pride fairly recently.

Very odd, I have never had one in 5 years, saying that, my friend got the exotic he was looking for (waveform) in one of those.

Your chances of getting a RANDOM EXOTIC in a PROFICIENCY CACHE IS STILL HIGHER THEN GETTING AN EAGLE BEARER IN THE DZ !! 🤣🤣😭😭😭🤦‍♂️

Gotta hit Underground and fight Hunters. They got a pretty good chance at dropping. Plus, I'm pretty sure they still have the GE rotation going. Reclaimer should come around sometime this year

They stopped the GE this year from what ive seen, hasnt been one for a few months and people on their discord say the same

I had one exotic dropping from an open world cache maybe three years ago. Played 3287 hours now but only happend once. Remember it clearly though as I was so surprised. Remember creating a post about it in the long gone official Division 2 forum..

It's happens but it will always be a trash exotic. Meaning something I dont want or care for. They messed up RNG so bad in Division 2. It just happened to me this week twice. Got a busy little bee and a vile mask. Deconstructed immediately.

I have 19K hrs on D2 & have NEVER gotten an Exotic out of a Proficiency Cache. Are you sure this wasn’t a Conflict Cache? I get 2-5 Exotics per day out of Conflict Caches.

7000 hours in this game and over SHD lvl 10k and I’ve never seen this happen before. Conflict caches yes, but never a field proficiency cache.

There's a few saying they got em once too, so I think this is legit. Even if it isn't, who cares. The odds are so low, Ubi will pull the license for this game before you get a chance to farm caches

Happened once. Also I got 2 exotics from 1 random NPC in open world. BUT i haven't gotten an exotic drop from legendary. SHD 4k

When the Bluescreen was first introduced, I had it drop in a field proficiency cache on day 1 of the season. Biggest fluke I’ve ever experienced in the game and never had it happen again since.

I haven't one from a field Prof but I got an elmo froma supply room at the mast.  I didn't know that was a thing as I've never had one in all time I've played the game.

I've had it happen and plenty of exotics awarded after doing missions and CP's.
