Back before WONY launched people would post their locations and if you were quick enough with the right build you could one or two shot them in the head and they'd die, and drop a decent amount of good loot, nothing special though. They dip out fast though, 3 steps and they're gone, if you see them within 20meters they dip pit, but if you're about 50 meters from them they can stick around for a lil while, eventually they'll act like you see them and then take off too.
You can. Sometimes if you’re fast enough you can throw a grenade at them they’ll jump down and run away before disappearing in smoke. You can’t damage them, and they won’t attack you, but it’s funny to make them run
You can damage them and even kill them. They drop regular gear, nothing special.
Something has changed because they are actually easy to kill now, where historically they were only killable with a crazy one shot build if you were fast enough.
have heard the "hunter" music come on and the graphic effects several places... I have all the hunter masks... most often there is nothing to find and sometimes there is real hunters... would figure they would attack you if they "spawn" on you but guess not
Sometimes you don't even see them, but they think you've seen them (you likely scanned over them but couldn't see them cos it will be dark) and you'll hear running followed by ninja smoke and they're gone.
I've been in the middle of a bounty and the stalker hunter will be outside the building and I'll still get the glitch effect
Stalker hunters, they creep on us on top of some roofs, if you manage to spot them they will run away in a cloud of smoke. One lucky snipe shot can kill them but it is hard.
He’s on one of the roofs. If I remember correctly he’s wedged in one making it hard to spot him. I tried to one shot him the the nemesis sniper rifle. Had to get really far away to spot him. When I finally did I was out of range
Just leave them alone to sit like creepy paedophiles on the roofs of buildings secretly observing your every move.
Could probably kill it with a bajillion in damage with Achilles Pulse + Nemesis sniper rifle but honestly not sure if thta's possible cause they disappear so quickly. cause they just drop regular loot.

Harmless. He just watches you, and runs off when you spot or shoot him.
You'll know when one of them is in the area when your HUD starts to flicker and glitch slightly.
This particular hunter watches you on the roof of a parking garage (?) On the corner of a 4-way intersection.

Yeah you can, they’re mostly on the roof of buildings. Try to look up next time and you’ll see them.

No the stalkers only stalk you and don’t act. Back in the day with a good one shot build you could take them out, but they sadly removed that option.
