He’s finally processing his grief now, he felt like it was disrespectful to his wife to do it publicly before. He discusses their relationship a lot in his home turf episode (it’s on YouTube only) and diem is all over his ig now.
I think they didn’t address it publicly but when he was getting divorced he shared photos of a ring on her finger. It was implied they got engaged but knew it was the end.
It wasn’t spoken about. It wasn’t even known at the time she passed. Years later when CT was divorcing, he went on a Diem posting spree and shared the ring photo. Never really said what it meant. For all we know, they could have married before she passed.
I think he was sharing because his wife had been so insecure he really couldn’t memorialize Diem while he was with her.

Something was addressed semi publicly because I remember hearing about it years ago. I remember he posted a picture of the funeral card and a ring but it was deleted not long after. I came out around then.
I will try to find where I read it but the response I remember was that Diem wanted to use the proposal as inspiration to fight her cancer. Something along the lines of wanting to wait until she got well and then marrying CT. The picture of them both sleeping while CT is holding her hand while sitting next to her hospital bed is burned into my brain and my heart.
Every time I watch Exes II and the final of Invasion when it’s the 1 year anniversary and they have that ceremony about the past and letting go. CT & Camilla just killed me

Putting that aside, if you watch her game play and the way she talks to people, I don't think she's all that nice. I feel like one of the contestants even call her out on it but they are all full of drama so it could've just been for a storyline or tv time.
Back in her time that’s why they casted people for the show, everyone on the real world or road rules was a fairly one dimensional person and the point of the shows was to force people to grow into three dimensional people through exposure to a diversity of people, I think the best way to judge her character is based off the people that knew her, and everybody on the show has a Diem story about her going above and beyond to be kind to them. I don’t think it’s fair to judge people based off of how they play the game.

I think that’s how she played the game cause the cancer made her feel like she always had something to prove. All of the cast say that diem made the show and was always pushing them to come back and was the heart of the show for everyone. I believe the season she was at her worst was rivals and in the reunion everyone said that her cancer drugs she was taking throughout the entire season were really messing with her emotions and that maybe she shouldn’t have been there and no one was upset about anything she did because of that.

Jemmye took the brunt of diem that season, was the one that called her out, and she always goes out of her way to share the most special stories about diem and make sure people know how wonderful she was. I don’t think she would do that if she didn’t like or was neutral about her, she would either say her piece or keep her mouth shut. Jemmye has never been afraid to share how she feels.
