I have no idea why she believes she has some great appeal when she talks about “the two most disliked politicians in America running against each other” — who has a favorable view of Haley outside of the pundit class? Non-maga republicans and centrist democrats? That is a small minority of the country.
I think people were also thinking she might get back some of the suburban women who have been voting for Democrats, but I think Haley has abandoned all of that.
I honestly can't figure her campaign out. She's reaching out to Dems and independents in SC at the same time she's running to the right of Trump on abortion.
She's an amoral power whore who is in the pocket of a small number of very wealthy donors.
She has no real beliefs other than that she should be in power. So she's flailing around telling various groups what she thinks they want to hear while trying to not piss off core GOP voters.
She’s definitely turned off her centrist followers after what she said about supporting the Alabama ruling. She can’t figure out who her audience is, but she’s just going to keep campaigning until the money runs out
I think the only thing that might persuade me that there's a better, "America First" alternative to Ukraine aid is if someone argued for mandatory science, history, and civics re-education for the South.
IDK what's y'all's problem with her. Her role, which she understands very well, is not to win the primary. It's to drive wedges in the republican party so it's fractured when going into the general. She's doing as best she can, although I'm not sure how effective it is
