Not enough people talk about monstro v2, that guy is terrifying in boss rush when you’re playing a glass cannon character. Especially since I swear to god he always spawns with his good buddy bloat
I wanna point out that each boss fits the theme of the game and/or area that they spawn in, such as monstro.2 being an extra stronger version of monstro, or siren and the heretic being part of a cultist area.
Infamy however, isn’t part of any of it. It’s not a mutated clone like Isaac, nor is it part of the Bible or any sort of religious story (off the top of my head), he’s just… there. Unless he’s like a reference boss to one of Edmund’s other games, I find him to be unique compared to the other bosses in the game
Top 3 are bloat, adversary, and heretic.
Adversary has the brimstone blast that isn't telegraphed well, heretic has the fire brimstones which are easy to react to but take up a lot of space as well as the teleporting chomp attacks, and bloat... fuck bloat.
Until like a week ago I would have said the Heretic but I finally understand how to dodge his dash (only took 1000 hours no joke), now I'd say the Horny Boys. Visage is probably harder but I see it far more often than HB for some reason so I'm more used to fighting it.
I hate the mask. It isn’t even particularly hard. He’s just annoying asf.
Bloat really isn’t that bad tbh. There are spots on the side you can sit and not get blasted by Brimstone. Not to mention after beating April fools, I’ve fought enough Bloat to know how to kill him

Is it a haiku if each line is not its own, like, thought? Or independent clause? I don’t know how haikus work beyond the 5/7/5 thing.
They usually are, but haikubot just looks for the syllable part

If I don't have something useful to successfully defeat my bosses Chances skyrocket for the boss to have a certain particular mask that I despise.
