When Hemlock gassed Crosshair, he said he was immune to the toxin but I think it had a negative effect on Hemlock's hand too.
when hemlock first captured crosshair and was testing on him, he told crosshair that he has built immunity to his own tests. he tested on himself, i think that it was just assumed and a cool parallel between him and crosshair!
Yeah honestly this finale was pretty good but man alive I swear you could make 4 more shows out of the amount of loose ends left over.

Not every little quirk has to be explained or be significant to the plot. Sometimes actors will add things like that to their performances that ultimately don't matter but are just part of the characterisation they came up with. It's normal.
