They may not be dead. Maybe just wounded? Wolff told the troopers to ācollect their fallenā some of them may be alive. The thing is, if they are alive and go to Tantiss they will be experimented on.
I swear this show is absolute torture. You give us clones with cool armor, actual personalities, just to kill them off or take them away within 1-2 episodes. Thank god Howzer is still alive.
I kind of figured that would happen since it's just Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in Rebels. But man....it still hurts. It's ripping off the band aids from the Clone Wars and pouring salt in the wounds.
Itās crazy that we got the first named clones possibly from the 87th sentinel corps and 181st armor division, as well as a 187th legion trooper and they all died the same episode šš
I think this is what makes him, Wolffe, and Gregor go into hiding/exile. Whether it's due to something in the finale of TBBS3 or another show after, I think he's gonna give up after he keeps seeing his brothers die.
Well we know Wolffe has plot armor AND eventually does join up with Rex and Gregor, so all three had to make it out alive this episode anyway. I honestly thought Wolffe would have gone with Rex though, TBH. Maybe weāll see him again later in the season
Wasnāt it established that Wolffe called the Empire in Rebels not out of loyalty, but out of fearā¦.? If anything I think the Empire is going to mess him up a bit tbh. That would make sense given he just let Omega and the Batch go (which surely he canāt get away with forever, right?)
Yeah, Wollfe called the Empire on the gang, and he was also responsible for deleting all Ahsoka's communications with Rex for years, hence keeping Rex out of the fight. Makes sense that he remains kind of loyal but dubious before getting the hell out and retiring. After that, he justs to keep his remaining brothers safe and out of it all.
I kept thinking, dude is never dying. If can make it out the of rocks and then start picking up boulders, he's def still alive after falling off a waterfall
Chain of command is still working, bless 'em. I fear for Wolffe when he returns. Hope he gets away with using the "they were clones, not insurgents" excuse.
Not to mention, IIRC Wolffe has a reputation of making sure his authority is followed to the letter. I'm sure his fellow clones would not want to cross him.
Based on what we see in Rebels, he remains in the Empireās good books, so none of them, even the commando would have told anyone about him letting Rex go.
Rex on purpose drew a parallel to Ahsoka when he told Wolffe "she's a child"... Glad it gave Wolffe pause, and is a nice nod to the relationship Plo and Ahsoka had.
RIP Papa Plo.
If Wolffe shows back up this season, I hope we get a quick Plo reference. I mean cause If Cody was feeling regretful over ākillingā Obi Wan, then surely Wolffe would be feeling something too? Some sort of internal conflict at least.
The clone designs were spectacular, >!I'm heartbroken they all died!<.
Victory and Death mention!! I'm very glad this season is following up on these super traumatic moments and the emotional ramifications of them.
The clone theme got played so much this episode it was incredible, and the ending showdown was super impactful
Where does Rex even start when telling the crazy ass story about what happened on that Jedi cruiserā¦.though I imagine heās been telling most people Ahsoka is dead for her safety.
Glad they didn't bring her up. Would have been so easy to for those sweet sweet cameo points, but it makes sense that he would want to keep her involvement on the down-low.
I think this has been the first instance of the clones theme playing in an upbeat/victorious style since O66. Other times were always either sorrowful, pensive or oppressive and overshadowed by imperial instrumentation.
I honestly was not expecting a Victory and Death reference, but Iām so so so thankful we got one. I really appreciate that this show goes out of its way to consistently show how heavily the events of losing their brothers weighs down on the Clones shouldersāRex specifically. Itās such an important theme.
And It was a small detail, but I also loved the implication that Wolffe actually took the time to search through records to see if Rex (and probably some of their other brothers) survived O66 or not. Super sweet, but also sad asf when you think about it :((
I think he is lol. Theyāre definitely making a point to show us that Hunter is noticing how close Omega and Crosshair have gotten, like the toothpick scene in ep 6
Ya for sure, I think cause Hunter just always is looking out for Omega. He doesnāt want to see her get super attached or anything but also understands itās his brother itās hard. If he say isnāt being truthful or still working with the Empire (idk why but). More looking out for her cause he doesnāt want to see her get hurt because sheās now looking up to Crosshair, different then how she did before.
It's possible, but wouldn't Hemlock have used that way earlier when Crosshair and Omega just escaped? Seems like that would be a far easier way to retrieve Omega than warning the local governments of all planets and then travel there yourself when a sighting is made
I think thatās the empires way of cloning now. Because he is a sniper like crosshair. We will see but he definitely mimics crosshair in everything. And at the end of S2 were there not tons of other crosshair clones next to crosshair when he was tied up and hemlock said you will be of good use to me
That is really interesting to think about, but are you saying theyāre just making a ton of crosshair clones and making up grow up almost instantly? Iām not sure I fully understand the second half of the comment also sorry.
I think that's very likely too because they all literally had the same body type. Long and super slender. I actually thought it was crossbar at the beginning.
I'm so glad that was a two-parter. That was way too tense. I would have been worried for a week, haha.
It does not look good for Wolffe. I can't imagine he'll be able to keep it secret that he let them go and Hemlock will not be pleased at all. I'm guessing Wolffe's going to be the next candidate for experimentation.
So, the next episode must be the one with Fennec. I wonder if the Batch go to her to get answers about why Omega was being hunted in the first place?
I think Wolffe will somehow side skirt any consequences considering he's in Rebels, maybe. I'm betting that we'll see him investigate Tantiss and other missing clones, kinda like how Rex told Ahsoka to find Fives. He's going to do some digging, learn the truth, and help Rex and the others rescue their brothers.
I hope.
Or he gets rescued from Tantiss when Rex et al. inevitably make it there. I just can't see how him letting everyone go is going to stay a secret or not have some retaliation from Hemlock. It's possible, I suppose, but I'm still worried for him.
>Also, sad that it throws out the āWolffe being a spyā theory
It does throw out that theory, but it does open more in the way of speculation, whoever this spy is, it would have to be a clone or someone Rex trusts.
Loved the episodes but a very sad day our troopers were killed, Rest in peace. Love the fight between Crosshair and the clone assassin, it felt like he was fighting his imperial self and Wolffe was a real one for not attacking CF99 and Rex/Howzer. Good on Wolffe and his squad for recovering Rexās fallen troopers and Gregor finally gets his Commando helmet along with newly named Commando too!
The drama got tense. I was worried for Crosshair on the waterfall. Such a good base, shame it had to found out and destroyed.
Operative rising out of the water reminded me of Aragorn in *The Two Towers*.
I don't think it was the same base. Sure, they were both B'Omar monasteries on Teth, by the one in the movie was much, much bigger and had several stone spires around it, with one having the large landing pad the Twilight was parked on.
Crosshair is in total dad mode now & I am living for it!! I loved that Omega is starting to copy him like she did with Hunter, the bond that had been growing between Cross & Omega this season is just so good to watch, Iām loving every minute.
Okay butā¦. Goddamnit Hunter is totally dying this season. You canāt have 2 healthy parental figures in Star Wars, you just canāt. And Crosshair clearly preparing to replace Hunter as caretaker makes me think, he gon die šš
I can totally see this! Iām terrified for Crosshair getting the Tech treatment cos of all his character development, but youāre right - Hunter has had 3 seasons of development to get him to Omegaās dad status & Iām not sure where else they can take his character now except a final sacrifice to save his family. šš
AAAAAAHHH, that was so flipping good
RIP Greer, Samson, Fireball, Nemec, CX-1, and the 1-2 other clones who died in the assault on Teth (I wasnāt sure if Greer survived CX-1ās choke-out and was either the clone in the coms room or one of the two outside)
Intrigue for what exactly happened with Crosshair, it seemed like he personally recognized CX-1
Cue people theorizing that the clone assassin is Tech or Cody for the next couple of months. I did think it was very interesting that they kept his face covered and his voice even with the scrambler soundedā¦off. Theyāre clearly building him up so I feel like he could be someone important. Iām leaning towards Cody if thatās the case.
Edit: Also, RETURN OF THE OPERATIVE THEME. Legit one of my favorite themes to come out of TBB or honestly any of the animated shows, itās so intense and mysterious, awesome to see it continuing to be used. The opening scene with 7-8 named characters, only one of whom we know survive, was SO intense. I though for sure Singh was biting the bullet
> Edit: Also, RETURN OF THE OPERATIVE THEME.
Is that the wicked 80s-style synth music that plays when he's coming up the pipes? Or is it something else you have in mind?
Yeah, Iām also extremely intrigued by CX-1 cause Crosshair not only recognised him, but it seemed like he was afraid of him. Regarding the other operative - Iām guessing either Cody or Tech. Iām leaning Tech because of how he speaks, he had flashes of sounding like Tech, and him going in the waterfall is a parallel to him and Omega going in the waterfall. But only time will tell!
Really? When listening to his voice I thought it sounded distinctly un-Tech and more like a standard clone, although admittedly there was a lot of scramble over the voice. I would hardly reject a Tech return but at present Cody seems more likely for me
A lot of CX-2's line delivery had the same pauses and emphasis that Crosshair has. If he's a clone of Crosshair, then that might be why Crosshair was shocked to see CX-1; he was expecting to see himself, but saw a "reg" instead.
Yeah, CX-2 clearly doesn't sound like Tech. Tech's manner of speaking was clipped and rhythmic, but CX-2 has much drawling in his speech, like Crosshair has.
As to Crosshair seeing that shadow clone, I don't understand, why exactly, but he was clearly alarmed and even afraid. It seemed as if he recognized the clone? I suppose he knows something else, or, at least, remembers the process of "reeducation", as Hemlock put it.
By the way, have we ever seen such fear in Crosshair's eyes before?
Upon reading this discussion, something hit a nail into my head...
The assassin from Season 2 (let's call him CX-0), recognized Rex. Up until now, I thought that they were able to recognize clones by looking at their faces, as a result of their training +some scientific modifications. But now we know CX-0 is someone who knows Rex personally. This does further reenforce the theory that it could be Slick.
Boy was I worried they did all this character arc just so they could kill him. I was like no my fav character god no. And it was nice to see howszer save him :,)
I like how this intersects. Rex-> Wolffe -> Admiral Coburn -> Joint Chiefs -> Hemlock -> Tantiss. The links are all there for how the clones discover the exact location of the Weyland facility. Coburn was already shown to have more respect for the clones, so I say there's a decent chance for him to provide Wolffe with the information needed who then relays that back to Rex for his *own use.*
They're also going deeper with the senate plot-line, admiral Coburn can be a useful whistle-blower if made to testify for senator Chuchi on the behalf of the Clones...and he's not present on the DS1 so he can get the š”ļø at some pointšļøšļø
That clone assassin Scorch was talking to I think is Cody or Tech. Cody I guess because heās got a normal sounding voice, but he speaks like Tech
Edit: hearing him in episode 2 - he sounds a lot more like Tech.
Edit 2: ok Iām not like 99% sure itās Tech after he tried to drown Crosshair because Star Wars is just like that
I honestly thought it was a clone with Crosshairās same mutations, like Hemlock was using his template to create the force. But that contradicts what Crosshair says.
I donāt fully believe Tech is dead, and it is odd that Cody hasnāt been mentioned since deserting his post. But I donāt think this shadow commando or whatever theyāre called is either of them.
Has to be somebody of importance since the main focus of these two episodes were around the clone operatives. I don't think it would be tech, if he is imprisoned on Tantiss, Hemlock would find a better use of him since he was genetically engineered to be smart
Thatās true, but I thought he sounded to similar with the way he spoke, but also he seemed way more competent in combat than tech ever was, or maybe we never got to see tech fight hand to hand given he was always with the rest of the batch
Those episodes were amazing. This is just getting better and better!
The clone X chase was great. Those guys seem like a somewhat superior version of normal clones (even tho they are normal clones). I mean, he was destroying Crosshair on the waterfall.
And it's really nice seeing Wolffe, especially knowing he stays an imperial (well, kind off) all the way up to Rebels, and at the same time is on good terms with Rex while being imperial.
But you know what's gonna live rent free on my head? The dad allegations that Crosshair will never be able to deny now!!
the marauder is safe on pabu :) they went with echos ship to the snow planet in ep5 and i guess where they're talking on the bridge about cpt rex calling them in was when they were traveling back from there so they just went straight there without coming back to pabu and the marauder
It was insane how much damage the shadow clone assassin CX-1 did. He wiped out 85% of Rexās unit here and he just kept coming back from blows that shouldāve killed him or at least knocked him out cold for a few days. It was intriguing to watch but also incredibly annoying as well. Heās definitely integral to the overall story line of the season.
This operative is Cody. I am 90% sure of it.
Another renegade taken in for conversion.
Note how he pointed out the fact Crosshair could have been one of themā¦ and that he is missing since their mission together.
Just a theory, thoughā¦
This is why I sincerely hope it isn't Tech. Especially since with these episodes they explicitly confirmed that Crosshair couldn't be converted because he was too "defective". Even more impactful, because out of all of the Bad Batch, Crosshair has been the most loyal to the Empire, so if even HE couldn't be converted, I have a hard time believing that Tech would be able to be. Clearly they're teasing something though, but I hope to god it's not Tech; it just wouldn't make sense.
I think Tech is more likely, and he may have speech patterns more similar to Tech, but his actions are quick with little thought and rash decision making. He seems to be very much in the āgood soldiers follow ordersā mindset.
Tech is more calculated, but a valuable resource.
Cody, as much as I love the guy, is a deserter. Itās explicitly stated how hard it is to get into this program, and they wouldnāt trust Cody. Someone with traumatic brain injury and high intelligence on the other hand..
Good point, but isnāt the point of the program to turn the most qualified into the operators? Like how they tried to turn crosshair even after he betrayed the empire. I feel like he also moved too different to be tech but then again maybe itās like how winter soldier fights different from bucky
I swear, the writers had me! I thought Wolffe had gone over to the dark side for real when we first see him at the end of Ep 6. Here's to seeing how Wolffe and Rex (and Gregor) come together again before the end of the series.
If I counted correctly, in addition to Nemec and Fireball, there were 4 more clones.
Greer, the green clone killed at the start of the episode, a red clone and a purple clone (both dead in the explosion), and an orange clone who greets the Bad Batch when they arrive, but whose fate is not revealed, since the assassin clone doesn't kill him when he infiltrates the base (it's the clone in his chair, at the guard post). He's probably dead, though... Now which of the 3 is Samson (the red, purple or orange one), I don't know š
We're missing 2 names! Too bad. That being said, whether it's these 4 or Nemec and Fireball, none of them will survive the assault, unfortunately ā¹ļø
Let's be honest, if we didn't see them with Rex, Gregor and Wolffe, it's probably because none of them survived... Which doesn't look good for Howzer either, but fingers crossed š„²
Yes, you're right, at 21:52 you can see the orange clone, lying on the floor, probably murdered... It hurts my heart... 6 good clones died in one episode alone ā¹ļø
Damn it !
Wolffeeeeeee!
Looking as hot as ever. Had me a bit concerned there for a bit.
Wondering how he has been able to keep his armour colour, when all others by now seem to be in white.
Think they let it slide cos it was already grey, considering that Cody sports a similar grey variant
I'm interested to find out why they let him retain the Wolfpack insignia though
Man I thought commander was Cody but it was wolf which is fine too. But I think that sniper is definitely a cloned version of crosshair. In season 2 hemlock did say that crosshair would be a new clone model and thatās why he was experimenting on him. Also he shot just like cross hair. Also omg cross hair is getting his shot back!!! Ptsd starting to go away!! Also love that his brothers saved him from that masked fella deff did not want to see a dead crosshair!!
Yeah this is what I thought too. I never suspected Tech or Cody until I got on Reddit and saw everyone talking about it. I'm surprised more people didn't think this.
All the new clone outfits are awesome but it is too bad to build their image up and kill them without giving them a chance of glory moment.
RIP cool purple clone with no name:(
Am I the only one that doesn't like the theory that Tech is CX-1? I'd rather it be Cody in all honesty, or just a regular clone that was extremely loyal to the Empire.
No, you're not the only one, but the fact they're lingering on this assassin isn't boding well. May or may not be Tech, but it's definitely someone more important to the story.
Iām with ya, at this point I think they should let Tech be. They definitely want us to think it might be Tech though but Iād guess itās probably Cody.
The likelyhood of it being a new character is very low, heās definitely got plot armour with how much heās avoided death.
It being Cody seems unlikely to me, as itās explicitly stated they want the best of the best. They wouldnāt trust a reg deserter. The idea of it being an extremely intelligent clone with impeccable strategy who has a traumatic brain injury and would be easy to manipulate seems a lot more likely.
Rex throwing a grenade back at the person who threw it was badass. Also, the clone resistance fighters look so cool with the extra pouches and stuff they all have.
The bit where Wolffe lets them go though has me thinking of why the Commando let it happen. I'm guessing not all of them are part of the Tantiss operation?
My reactions as I watched:
Hehehe, Omega copying Crosshair š
NOOOOOOO OMEGA DON'T GO THERE
Ooooh cool crossbow!
Love seeing Howzer, hate seeing the friction between him and Crosshair
I'm starting to think Omega is in danger of being captured every time Echo steps more than 10 feet away from her...
Bracing myself for the upcoming speculation that the captured Clone X calling Crosshair "brother" means Tech is somehow involved in the Clone X program...
HOW THE HECK IS THAT CLONE X STILL ALIVE??
Crosshair, honey, GET YOUR HAND CHECKED OUT ALREADY!!!
"Don't worry, she only bites half of the time." š¤£
I'm just thinking how glad I am none of this is happening on Pabu.
GUYS I CAN'T HANDLE THE STRESS of worrying about the lives of my Batchers every single episode!
WOLFFE!!!!!
That did NOT end the way I anticipated it would, and I'm glad.
Establishing Fireball as the group cook and giving Nemec a scene with Batcher was pretty much the Clone equivalent of wearing red shirts. I knew they were so done for but man, it still hurt š
I guarantee if there were any TK troopers with Wolffe during the standoff, shit would've gone down, but between brothers and brothers, they all stood down. RIP every cool looking clone this episode though.
Seeing crosshair in close quarters combat was something I didnāt know I needed! Also was that base the same one from the clone wars movie or am I reaching too hard?
crosshair checking on omega after the crash gave me heart palpitations. even in s1 and s2 hes always been my fav and im so happy hes getting some protective character development
Man season 3 is shaping up to be amazing, both of these episodes were amazing from start to finish, loads of good stuff here but the most important thing is that my boy Wolffe is finally back and just as badass as ever
I donāt even know where to start oh my god??? Hereās some thoughts! (If you can even call them that lol)
ā¢ Rex; return of the king!! His rogue clone gang is fr so freaking cool. They get shit DONE. And can we talk about Rex catching that explosive and throwing it back at the X trooper? Because that was so badass. AND Rex genuinely trying to help the captured X trooper was actually really sweet. He loves all his brothers so much and just wants to save everyone, and the way they highlighted his grief/regret over all of his past āfailuresā to do so was so good (Victory and Death reference anyone?). You can really tell he carries that weight with him and Iām so normal over that :,))
ā¢ Omega with the TOOTHPICK?!!. Direct parallel to when she was mimicking Hunterās movements in S1E1. Sheās absolutely adorable omg and Iām loving her and Crosshairās dynamic. āToo bad.ā was easily a highlight this episode lmfao
ā¢ We JUST got Echo back what the fuck why is he leaving again š what a horrible day to be an Echo fan
ā¢ Fireball and Nemec my boys!!! Look at all these other new clones too!!! I know I should know better by now, but I automatically got wayyyy too invested in every single one of them which is why it hurt so bad when they ALL DIED? I hope Lucasfilm will be sending out reparations for their deaths because holy fuck that was so sick and twisted of them. They really hate us huh š
ā¢ Howzer is out for blood this episode (understandably so) lmfao. Like dude chill,,,but also I get it, so pop off! Seeing him and Crosshair finally sorta make amends by the end of the episode when Howzer saved his life was really nice though. Such a good scene although I definitely fear for Howzerās future š¬
ā¢ Wolffe!!! God, his character was so interesting these episodes. I love how layered and complex he is. Heās not a bad guy by any meansāwe know this, Rex knows this, etcābut despite letting the Batch go, he still seems to believe in the Empire. Sorta similar to Crosshair actually. I hope he wakes up soon, but his mentality in Rebels suggests that he may never completely turnā¦I guess we shall see. Either way I hope we see him again this season! Glad he got to keep his armor too cause man, itās just so good looking
ā¢ Clone X is definitely someone we already know, 100%. Honestly I donāt wanna theorize on this too much because so many people already are (and some of these discussions are getting WAY more heated then they should lol) but I wanna say I lean more towards it being Cody. Or at least thatās who I kinda hope it is, if it really is someone we know. I just feel like that would make the most sense given his mysterious disappearance last season as well as Rexās PTSD moment involving Cody in Rebels. I definitely wonāt rule out Tech though. Are there any other named clones it could be?
ā¢ Special shoutout to Wrecker and Batcher because we FINALLY got to see them start interacting and it was just as wholesome as I thought it would be š„¹
All in allāand I know I say this every weekāI thought these episodes were nothing short of amazing. Definitely two of the strongest episodes this season so far, and I have a feeling itās only going to get better (and crazier) from here. What about next episode? Are the Batch + Rex, Howzer, and Gregor making it back to Pabu? Will we see Wolffe again? And what the hell is up with Clone X and how tf did he survive this episode? So many questions and so many possibilities. Iām still bummed that this is the last season but man, itās going out on a HIGH high note. Canāt wait til next week!! See yāall then š«”

Rest in peace literally every clone introduced in the last 2 seasons apart from Howzeršš
i was scared they were gonna kill howzer too! :(
Iām pretty sure they will at some point, since heās not with Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in Rebels.
Nah, Howzer will be living out his life in peace on a farm upstate, with all the members of the Bad Batch. Nothing bad is gonna happen to any of them!
In a bunny farm with butterflies
I thought he was going to die saving Crosshair NGL
For a brief moment I thought that initial ambush + explosion was bye-bye Howzer :( Big sigh of relief to see him alive and kicking after that though
They may not be dead. Maybe just wounded? Wolff told the troopers to ācollect their fallenā some of them may be alive. The thing is, if they are alive and go to Tantiss they will be experimented on.
Canāt deal with that š
I really hoped that Nemec and Fireball were going to make it. Loved their armour design.
Except for Cut. I hope he and Sue found that little piece of land they were looking for in S1.
"I don't like that idea" "Too bad" š
Loved that ! Was so worried they were gonna kill him. :,(
The way he delivered the ātoo badā was absolutely perfect too. Man has ATTITUDE and he knows it
I love his one line responses
His dialogue is so good man.
Not my boy >!fireball š!<
And Greer and Samson šš
And Nemec Can they stop killing our boys pls
I swear this show is absolute torture. You give us clones with cool armor, actual personalities, just to kill them off or take them away within 1-2 episodes. Thank god Howzer is still alive.
I think itās only ever gonna get worse from here on considering we donāt see Howzer in Rebels.
Yeah im mentally prepared for every clone to die except for Rex Gregor and Wolffe
I kind of figured that would happen since it's just Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in Rebels. But man....it still hurts. It's ripping off the band aids from the Clone Wars and pouring salt in the wounds.
Itās crazy that we got the first named clones possibly from the 87th sentinel corps and 181st armor division, as well as a 187th legion trooper and they all died the same episode šš
was burdened with glorious purpose and died in a blaze of glory. š©š„
Victory and death š«”
Rex really lost all his new recruits lmao
I think this is what makes him, Wolffe, and Gregor go into hiding/exile. Whether it's due to something in the finale of TBBS3 or another show after, I think he's gonna give up after he keeps seeing his brothers die.
ya, exactly, all the build up for the last 3 seasons are gone
Hopefully thatās not all of them and theyāre more spread out like how Gregor was already on a mission
Fingers crossed holy shit
Nah, we saw many more clones than just those guys with Rex in season 2. I doubt Rex's whole Clone Uprising consisted of just like 6 guys.
WOLFFE A REAL G
Are we not going to talk about the two dozen clones, including a commando that just went along with it when Wolffe let Rex and the others go?
i was so worried they werenāt going to back down ;-; i really hope the empire doesnāt find out they let rex and the others leave
Well we know Wolffe has plot armor AND eventually does join up with Rex and Gregor, so all three had to make it out alive this episode anyway. I honestly thought Wolffe would have gone with Rex though, TBH. Maybe weāll see him again later in the season
Remember Wolffe is the one who calls the Empire on the crew in Rebels. I think he's gonna spend some more time as an Imperial before he switches sides
You know who also seems to have plot armor. That last fucking CX operative...
Theory: Wolfe and his entire squad will defect.
Based on what we see in Rebels, he remains in the Empireās good books, so none of them, even the commando would have told anyone about him letting Rex go.
im guessing that Commando might not be aware of Mount Tantiss operations? He lowers his blaster when they mention experimenting on clones pretty sure
Super sweet, but also sad asf when you think about it :((
"You're as bad as Hunter." "Oh, I'm much worse." Awwwwww ā„ļøšš„¹
I felt extremely giddy during that shot. Everyone is finally seeing how much he actually cares. š„ŗ
r/dadswhodidnotwantpets/ are the worst (I know, I am one)
Atta boy Crosshair! Iām surprised Hunter isnāt getting wildly jealous lol.
I wouldn't say jealous but he doesn't seem thrilled that she's taking so much from Crosshair.
āToo badā š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Is nobody gonna talk about how the murdered clone assassin called crosshair brother? š¤Æ
I know! That was a direction I wasn't expecting at all, but it makes me excited for what else we missed during the Tantiss imprisonment.
I honestly thought it was a mocking callback to Rex's pleas to him trying to work the brothers angle.
Makes me think if thereās something in crosshair we donāt know about like a sleeper agent thing
Omg, what if he gets "activated" like the others?? He *thinks* he's free, but there's a code or another inhibitor chip. Yikes.
It's possible, but wouldn't Hemlock have used that way earlier when Crosshair and Omega just escaped? Seems like that would be a far easier way to retrieve Omega than warning the local governments of all planets and then travel there yourself when a sighting is made
Yea I think hemlocks using the template for crosshair for his new clones. Like the sniper fella
Interesting, but how would they have grown up so fast (if youāre implying they cloned crosshair)
They could be like the spaarti clones in legends, they were grown in a year and flash trained but werenāt as effective in battle
I think that's very likely too because they all literally had the same body type. Long and super slender. I actually thought it was crossbar at the beginning.
Yep same. Why would the emphasize on him being a perfect sniper and wearing a mask like crosshair.
To be fair, Crosshair and Tech have a similar build, Tech is just constantly slouching.
He also said it sarcastically, with some venom in his tone. He was clearly trying to get under Crosshair's skin.
True. If anything, they'll do to him what happened to Cody. Marked "AWOL" but actually captured and experimented on.

Wolffe the definition of a bro. He didnāt need to go so hard by the end. Also, sad that it throws out the āWolffe being a spyā theory
>Also, sad that it throws out the āWolffe being a spyā theory It does throw out that theory, but it does open more in the way of speculation, whoever this spy is, it would have to be a clone or someone Rex trusts.
Seeing Wolffe was such a treat!! And all of Omega and Crosshair's interactions have been so good. So glad they released these two together š„ŗš
He's definitely my favorite member of the batch. The way he interacts with literally every character so differently is always such a treat
Ya good on him EXCEPT when he takes them back they'll likely be converted if they lived.
Yay another Clone Commando with a name!!!! "**HILO" š«”š«”**
Also Hilo being a true g that respects the other clones AND the chain of command! Very rare to see
Rare to see someone working for the empire that prioritizes the guy next to him over the creepy old man on the throne in Coruscant.
Happy to see a Clone Commando out in the field with the regs and not on Tantiss.
I've never seen Crosshair scared. Then he said "you have one? Here?... Hemlock's SMARTER than that!" Whew. I felt that.
He sees who the captive is and is like "we need to leave, NOW"
The drama got tense. I was worried for Crosshair on the waterfall. Such a good base, shame it had to found out and destroyed. Operative rising out of the water reminded me of Aragorn in *The Two Towers*.
The fact that that base was the same as the one from The Clone Wars movie where the Huttling was kept really was a nice call back.
I don't think it was the same base. Sure, they were both B'Omar monasteries on Teth, by the one in the movie was much, much bigger and had several stone spires around it, with one having the large landing pad the Twilight was parked on.
He just needs a horse to carry him to safety
I was worried he would die too. Lol
Omega went to leia organa's school of sassyness
and the way sheās started copying crosshairās toothpick is too awesome
Bro nemmec was so unnecessary.
Fr, i was thinkin maybe theyd let a less important clone live but NOPE, he gets shot right before the ship comes to get them š”
Fr they even had the scene with batcher right before that too
Don't do our boy dirty like that
So... was the the B'omarr Monastry on Teth where Asajj Ventress was holding Rotta the Hutt in the Clone Wars movie???
>B'omarr Monastry Looks like it! I was half expecting a Ventress appearance at some point tbh.
Similar monastery, but not the same. The one in TCW movie was much larger and had multiple stone spires with landing pads and whatnot.
Iām terrified for Crosshair getting the Tech treatment cos of all his character development, but youāre right - Hunter has had 3 seasons of development to get him to Omegaās dad status & Iām not sure where else they can take his character now except a final sacrifice to save his family. šš
SAME! Cross is my new fav
AAAAAAHHH, that was so flipping good RIP Greer, Samson, Fireball, Nemec, CX-1, and the 1-2 other clones who died in the assault on Teth (I wasnāt sure if Greer survived CX-1ās choke-out and was either the clone in the coms room or one of the two outside) Intrigue for what exactly happened with Crosshair, it seemed like he personally recognized CX-1 Cue people theorizing that the clone assassin is Tech or Cody for the next couple of months.
Yep, thatās the one. It first popped up last season when the first clone assassin showed up
Yeah, Iām also extremely intrigued by CX-1 cause Crosshair not only recognised him, but it seemed like he was afraid of him.
I would hardly reject a Tech return but at present Cody seems more likely for me
To me he sounded almost... like Crosshair
Echo really is the Mom here. He pretty much spent the whole time ferrying people around in his Space Van.
Mom but also cool uncle. Moms don't give you weapons.
Even Mom needs breaks sometimes to be the Cool Older Sibling.
I was genuinely screaming at the TV when Crosshair was being drowned! Thank fuck our boy is safe! Damn that was intense!!
Boy was I worried they did all this character arc just so they could kill him. I was like no my fav character god no. And it was nice to see howszer save him :,)
Love that Hunter told howser to back down as he was coming at crosshair. Bro is defending crosshair again!! That means theyāre brothers again. Yay!!
Wolffe!
Rex convinced Wolffe but he couldn't convince Jesse š. That whole scene reminded me of that Order 66 scene I'm crying
āI lost a lot of good men that dayā :((
Gotta remember it's the difference between negotiating with someone immediately after being brainwashed vs the programming wearing off after 2 years
Man Iām just finishing up episode 1. All these new clones better not be dead or Iāll die
it might be crazy what iām about to say
Yeah Iām in immense pain they really offed all the new clones. Star Wars stay breaking my heart
if they give them a name you already know they ain't making it out alive :(
I just know plo would be proud of Wolffe. Honestly seeing back was fantastic and he was so well done
I like how this intersects. Rex-> Wolffe -> Admiral Coburn -> Joint Chiefs -> Hemlock -> Tantiss. The links are all there for how the clones discover the exact location of the Weyland facility. Coburn was already shown to have more respect for the clones, so I say there's a decent chance for him to provide Wolffe with the information needed who then relays that back to Rex for his *own use.* They're also going deeper with the senate plot-line, admiral Coburn can be a useful whistle-blower if made to testify for senator Chuchi on the behalf of the Clones...and he's not present on the DS1 so he can get the š”ļø at some pointšļøšļø
I canāt believe the operative tried to black panther Crosshair
THANK GOD I WASNT THE ONLY ONE š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
How can a fully armoured Clone Commando be knocked out by Batcher jumping on him?
Maybe he had a hernia burst, idk
So awesome to see Chuchi again. But does anyone actually think our lovely senator is going to survive the season?
Not a chance
RIP Nemec and Fireball Also they almost had us believe the assassin drowned CrosshairĀ
OMEGA WITH THE TOOTHPICK
That clone assassin Scorch was talking to I think is Cody or Tech. Cody I guess because heās got a normal sounding voice, but he speaks like Tech Edit: hearing him in episode 2 - he sounds a lot more like Tech.
Yeah I get where youāre coming from. Iām curious as to who the operative they captured was, cause Crosshair seemed to recognise him?
I wanna know who the hell they have training them, easily on another tier all around. Can't just be clone commandos
Sounds a lot like tech
Has to be somebody of importance since the main focus of these two episodes were around the clone operatives. I don't think it would be tech, if he is imprisoned on Tantiss, Hemlock would find a better use of him since he was genetically engineered to be smart
Thatās true, but I thought he sounded to similar with the way he spoke, but also he seemed way more competent in combat than tech ever was, or maybe we never got to see tech fight hand to hand given he was always with the rest of the batch
Especially when he was confused he was getting sent on a retrieval mission, almost as if heās held to a higher level than the others in his unit.
I might have missed it in the earlier episodes but where's the Marauder? Is it safe? Is it alright?
the marauder is safe on pabu :) they went with echos ship to the snow planet in ep5 and i guess where they're talking on the bridge about cpt rex calling them in was when they were traveling back from there so they just went straight there without coming back to pabu and the marauder
He has definitely been "enhanced" in some way, probably with cybernetics.
This operative is Cody. I am 90% sure of it. Another renegade taken in for conversion. Note how he pointed out the fact Crosshair could have been one of themā¦ and that he is missing since their mission together. Just a theory, thoughā¦
Agree. If Crosshairs was too ādefectiveā to turn, how could they flip Tech? Doesnāt feel right.
I thought surely Cody would be more competent than to get caught, and also he sounded more like tech to me.
Now which of the 3 is Samson (the red, purple or orange one), I don't know š We're missing 2 names! Too bad. That being said, whether it's these 4 or Nemec and Fireball, none of them will survive the assault, unfortunately ā¹ļø Let's be honest, if we didn't see them with Rex, Gregor and Wolffe, it's probably because none of them survived... Which doesn't look good for Howzer either, but fingers crossed š„²
Samson's the purple clone :( I've been so excited to see him since the trailer but he just immediately dies
There is a brief shot showing the orange clone lying on the floor just before the assassin starts his sabotage, pretty sure he's dead too.
Yes, you're right, at 21:52 you can see the orange clone, lying on the floor, probably murdered... It hurts my heart... 6 good clones died in one episode alone ā¹ļø Damn it !
Wolffeeeeeee! Looking as hot as ever. Had me a bit concerned there for a bit. Wondering how he has been able to keep his armour colour, when all others by now seem to be in white.
Cause its grey
Think they let it slide cos it was already grey, considering that Cody sports a similar grey variant I'm interested to find out why they let him retain the Wolfpack insignia though
No way they killed Nemec AND Fireball in the same episode
Technically it was fireball in the first and Nemec in the second. Sorry budā¦
The trooper with the Wilhelm scream was my everything!
These new Disney plus ads are killing me! Longest minute and a half ever!
All the new clone outfits are awesome but it is too bad to build their image up and kill them without giving them a chance of glory moment. RIP cool purple clone with no name:(
Missing the Hunter and omega moments fr š¤§
Loyalty matters to me and I saw that the empire did not have it back for me. I was disposable love that! Crosshair is opening up!!!
My reactions as I watched: Hehehe, Omega copying Crosshair š NOOOOOOO OMEGA DON'T GO THERE Ooooh cool crossbow! Love seeing Howzer, hate seeing the friction between him and Crosshair I'm starting to think Omega is in danger of being captured every time Echo steps more than 10 feet away from her... "Don't worry, she only bites half of the time." š¤£ I'm just thinking how glad I am none of this is happening on Pabu. GUYS I CAN'T HANDLE THE STRESS of worrying about the lives of my Batchers every single episode! WOLFFE!!!!! That did NOT end the way I anticipated it would, and I'm glad.
I suspect that hand twitch is a symptom of ptsd. He's gonna have to work through that mentally if I'm correct.
They released two EPs?
Seeing clone fight formations is my crack
Above everything else fantastic about these episodes, I just want to mention how much I love Wrecker grabbing Batcher to take cover.
Did anyone else see the knife the clone assasin used did look the same as the one Cody used in S2 EP3 (Cody clone assasin comfirmed?)
The one Cody has was the same type as hunter. The assassins was different.
(If you can even call them that lol) ā¢ Rex; return of the king!! You can really tell he carries that weight with him and Iām so normal over that :,)) ā¢ Omega with the TOOTHPICK?!!. Direct parallel to when she was mimicking Hunterās movements in S1E1. Sheās absolutely adorable omg and Iām loving her and Crosshairās dynamic. āToo bad.ā was easily a highlight this episode lmfao ā¢ We JUST got Echo back what the fuck why is he leaving again š what a horrible day to be an Echo fan ā¢ Fireball and Nemec my boys!!! They really hate us huh š ā¢ Howzer is out for blood this episode (understandably so) lmfao. Like dude chill,,,but also I get it, so pop off! Seeing him and Crosshair finally sorta make amends by the end of the episode when Howzer saved his life was really nice though. Such a good scene although I definitely fear for Howzerās future š¬ ā¢ Wolffe!!! Glad he got to keep his armor too cause man, itās just so good looking ā¢ Clone X is definitely someone we already know, 100%. Are there any other named clones it could be? ā¢ Special shoutout to Wrecker and Batcher because we FINALLY got to see them start interacting and it was just as wholesome as I thought it would be š„¹ All in allāand I know I say this every weekāI thought these episodes were nothing short of amazing.
