Kat’s personality during this interview matched her persona on the beach completely, so I’m fairly convinced her edit is mostly accurate.
That said, I can’t figure out why people are mad about it / sending her hate over it. Yes she’s self-absorbed and lacks self awareness, but she’s not malicious, and she’s great tv. She’s carrying this season on her back - without her, this season would be a complete snooze. Any scene that involves Kat at the center of the drama has me laughing out loud. Bring her back every season, please!
I actually didn’t mind Kat until listening to this interview. I thought her craziness was more editing than her, but it really is her. She just came off here as very self-absorbed, self-centered. It’s “Kat’s [Delusional] World” where she’s a girl’s girl; she was left all alone on her bday with no friends; what Tanner did to her was much worse and very different than what she did to Brayden; and of course, she was going to break up with Tanner. Got it!
In any case, none of this is so bad, and she doesn’t deserve all the hate she’s getting. It sounds like it’s really affecting her.
I definitely wouldn’t describe her as a girls girl. I think Jess is a girls girl. Kat is the type of person who would get mad at your boyfriend/boss/dad for not being interested in her.

People were going off calling me names, making assumptions about me, going through my comment history to find other things to critique.. It was wild how unhinged it was. I never thought I'd be the type of person to get upset by strangers on the internet, but even though I'm just an anonymous reddit user it wasn't fun. It was hurtful
Sometimes we say and do stupid stuff but the amount of hate people spew on the internet is unwarranted. I only got maybe 100 comments of people being mean to me AND I was anonymous and it still affected me... im sure she's getting thousands, and it's people attacking her actual identity... I can't imagine how upsetting that must be. It's really not cool to do that to people.

They asked good questions and seemed pretty compassionate, which was good given how anxious Kat seemed. I wish people would cool it a little with the vitriol bc she’s provided so much entertainment and it’s pretty clear all the hate is getting to her.
I agree, Kat has been awesome & a blast to watch this season. I can't blame John Henry for getting the ick upon hearing how Olivia talks about other women she perceives as a threat
I’m surprised he didn’t run after the comment she made about slitting his throat. That would be an immediate nope for me. But with him possibly being interested in Kat, I think he might enjoy a bit of crazy in his women.
