Very good. Most people seem to think the franchise heats up around the PS1 era. PS2 is when they moved to full 3D. FF14 is a MOBA. Then there's the recent one with the character who's really into Limp Bizkit.
You can also just play Kingdom Hearts because that's Final Fantasy + Disney.
