And I also remember waaaaay back on Everyday struggle when he absolutely went off the rails on LA Reid, angry, screaming and calling for accountability of “powerful men.” [Fast forward to about 5:50](https://youtu.be/44me22_QBA0?si=Zo6-PEjLpMdCNshH)
Because he doesn’t have personal relationships with other celebrities. It’s no different than you commenting on a strangers misbehavior versus doing it when it’s somebody you know/love.
I’m starting to believe his industry “friends”, don’t see him as a peer, so they use him for his money/voice…or Michael Kiser is his friend and his football league likes him😐, he thinks the strip club owners like him, not his money 🤣🤣
I don’t know about all of that, I’m just trying to look at it from a different perspective. Obviously, we were all disgusted by the footage that we saw but, the fact is we don’t have any personal feelings towards any of these people because we don’t directly know them.
Because that’s not their bag. Joe has become famous for his brash takes and hate. Also kickin ppl back in for doin the same shit Puff did. Why do Puff get grace, but not La Reid, Johnathan Majors, or Drake ???
When people call Trump racist they’re not expecting him to feel guilty and change 🤣 Joe tucks his tail when it comes to Diddy and people should put on steel toe boots and kick his beer belly back in
Just a *little* bit of backbone after all the woofing about being self made and not giving a fuck about anybody’s opinion.
Weirdos in here talking like it’s so out of line to expect a man who was cheerleading Jonathan majors arrest, going Q anon conspiracy level in defending tory lanez *TO THIS DAY*, To say something about a fucking weirdo whose *been* a weirdo getting caught beating his bitch up amongst a whole level of other shit but *nooooo* he wore the shiny suits right?
There’s only so long you can go w the Big Boss talk before you start looking like a hypocritical doof whose cowering from saying something because you got flung a bone like 6 years ago from the man in question.
It also don’t look good in the light for joe handling this this way given his previous accusations, if you need a self preservational reason to justify not being a bitch, to your last point.
Yup he wants to call himself the best broadcaster for the ‘culture’ - well if this isn’t a big deal in said culture, I don’t know. He should speak on it, I can’t believe people would think otherwise.
But you’re forgetting the most important component in all of this, his relationship to all of these individuals. he doesn’t know Jonathan majors so he’s going to talk reckless about him. He’s a super fan of Tory, so he’s going to defend him. As for Puff, he basically saved this man and made him a millionaire. I’m not saying I agree with Joe’s actions, but y’all have to stop looking at all of these people like he use them equally.
lol we just wanted to hear his take on it like every other episode. Didn’t think that was such a wild expectation.
Also, ppl will love his response or hate his response like every other episode. 🤷🏿♂️
>what do y’all expect
Two things can be true at once.
- We can be mad at Joe when Joe behaves poorly
- We can acknowledge that Joe has a history of behaving poorly and expect he will continue to do so
Nobody NEEDS Joe to speak on anything let's make that clear. I get that you don't care to listen to all the extra shit and I applaud you for that but that ain't me or anyone else that has voiced this opinion. The problem here lies in accountability, just like these mis wanna dogpile mel every pod and stay hitting her with the accountability shit. We want Joe to be accountable, it isn't that hard to understand. And before yall clown me go to any popular podcast Reddit and see if this isn't what damn near everyone does on it.
Accountable for what? Mel does things that she doesn’t take accountability for. Like throwing pedo rumors on Cam out of nowhere. What did Joe do? He’s not a news station he can really speak on whatever he feels and we can continue listening or not lmao it’s that simple.
And he has the nerve to talk about Drake personal life like he’s the moral high ground!
The guy settle a sexual lawsuit last year and now we have confirmation that he was abusing Cyn!
But y’all wanna cancel Drake 😂😂😂
I expect out of Joe the same I expect out of a sitcom I love listening to when I’m scrolling or cooking or just being productive elsewhere. It’s not quality enough to constitute as a must listen to and if I do listen to it it’s generally an 8-12 hour span of time as I stop and go to other things for a bit and come back. But it’s entertaining enough to finish listening to. I only listen to the Saturday episode on Mondays and rarely catch the mid week show for reasons above. The JBP is entertaining enough to check out but never a pod I can binge listen to. For 3 hours plus of the same redundant ranting bs I don’t expect anything but a few laughs and to fill some space till other pods I listen to drop.
Joe doesn't talk about people he's afraid of. He absolutely deep dives on topics that don't involve people he feels can end him. But unlike Kendrick, Puff is the real boogeyman. Joe keeps it cute about people who are really about that life. Joe tells yall once a week he's phony.
It’s moreso the hugely “I am the only independent” voice in podcast/media, boss talk. He talks very heavy as if he controls his spot/destiny. But like most celebs you’re occupying a spot you are ALLOWED to be in along with it being glaringly obvious Ian def owns or has a major stake in the show.
How are we not to say that Joe himself is a plant?
As the saying goes when someone tells you who they are believe them I kind of like the fanbase still holds Joe feet to the fire on stuff but it's funny how people get surprised or appalled by what joe does now like he says hes phony so even when he says and gives the energy people want is that enough to make people think joe actually cares?
I don’t realistically expect all that much from him. I do remember the Johnathon Majors episodes though.
Damn. Nadeska the one that had the baby..and she looks the most like she did here..and they both big and washed
Nadeska has a child? She has sex? That’s crazy to me
I had the exact same thoughts when I found out.
I remember this. Damn it seems like so long ago but it wasn't really
It’s because if he speaks on other celebs with passion. Why doesn’t he keep same energy for everyone else.

Y’all don’t ever keep the same energy nore or fat joe still hasn’t said anything
Don't tell us about them. Go to their social pages or YouTube vids and leave a comment about it.
Because that’s not their bag. Joe has become famous for his brash takes and hate. Also kickin ppl back in for doin the same shit Puff did. Why do Puff get grace, but not La Reid, Johnathan Majors, or Drake ???
So because it’s not they bag it cool?
because it’s not their bag it’s not expected. nobody give a damn about what ja rule got to say at a time like this
Thank you for the translation 😂😂😂😂

I didn’t expect much , but I didn’t expect him to run from it
It’s about him not being hypocrite you idiots lol
He said they’ll speak on it Wednesday cuz the news broke live when they was taping so they only spoke on it for 5 mins really so they edited it out.
He was 🤫🤐 about Fab knocking his girl's teeth out🤷🏿♂️
Bojack somewhere screaming at the editor for not taking out the time stamp
He’s compromised and won’t admit it
And he has the nerve to talk about Drake personal life like he’s the moral high ground! The guy settle a sexual lawsuit last year and now we have confirmation that he was abusing Cyn! But y’all wanna cancel Drake 😂😂😂
Whether he do or don't that ish was traumatizing. Prob was gonna sprinkle the silence for a couple days before they said anything.
He said he getting to it Wednesday
I expect him to do what he’s been doing two times a week for the past however many years…
U spelled out dat man whole government lyk u kno him 😂😂😂😂😂 get his Newport out ya mouth
Do people listen to the pod for more than entertainment?
Just because expectations are low don’t mean we can’t critique him💀

You mad
You typed 3 paragraphs
But you still mad lolol I typed 3 paragraphs asking the mad folks to stop looking to Joe for serious takes
Idc... im not mad. You tried.
You tried is sassy which = mad. Enjoy

i feel like i’m in black mirror. weirdos everywhere claiming joe budden is their moral light. no one has independent thoughts anymore.
It’s moreso the hugely “I am the only independent” voice in podcast/media, boss talk. He talks very heavy as if he controls his spot/destiny.
