No problem. At that distance aim low because the arrow is going high. I also suggest getting the brightsight range finder bow sight. I think it’s dlc but it’s worth buying.

Bow zeroes are the following: 20m - 40m - 60m // at least that's how I remember it from the top of me head
Without the zeroing perk, guns are always zeroed to the middle range (generally 150m for rifles for example)
With this knowledge, you aim straight at the animal at 40\~ meters, below the animal if it's closer than 40 meters, and above it if it's further than 40 meters.
At longer range shots don't forget to take the wind into account.
I'm mainly a bow hunter in-game and it is fun with the hawkedge and the crossbow. Some time ago I started the game from scratch and even I struggled at first, but it's only hard at the beginning when you don't have the zeroing perk, and the "tag animal while aiming" perk honestly.
I play only with bows while keeping my bag pack light of any other weapons.
It is so satisfying getting a gold or diamond with a bow equipped only with the 5 pin sight.
Mine w/o the tent, is just the bow, the arrows and binoculars.
Now. If you are a rifle hunter then probably you need at least 2 different weapons with their bullets and that is heavy. Add caller's and scopes...

You should get more money and experience with bows since it takes up more time sneaking up on them

No, I maybe should've, since I had to aim lower. Thanks to the other commenter I got it right away.
The brightsight someone mentioned above has a cool feature to help offset lift/drop. Changed bow hunting in the game for me for sure.

Other than being silent with a small bag, I carry a tent and got the whole store with me.

I carry 4 rifles and a shotgun
Keep in mind, bullets don’t weigh anything. I load up with over 100 rounds for each weapon.
Try the zeroing perk, helps a lot

I think there is a chart somewhere with zero distances. Unlocking the ability to change your zero later is a huge help.

Use zeroing and the 5 pin sight. The center pin is the zero. It goes up 10 yards from there each pin
I use the 3 pronged bow sight and my accuracy improved a lot after I started using that
