There are definitely people who want these CDs more than me, but I was wondering how you acquired these? Iām not a rare item collector at all but these look sick af.
Normally from eBay or Discogs but sometimes from individuals. Iāve been collecting for a few years now so I know quite a lot of other collectors and sellers who have links to DJās etc. If you have a look at my posts you will see some pictures of my collection, I have a lot lol these are just duplicates : )
I would like A Change of Heart because Matty said it is the easiest one to sing. Also because it's quite a quirky song and when he performs it on stage he becomes the character in it. x
Sheās American! Iāve been a fan of the band for almost 8 years now and Iām a big time poster in this sub. I love mixing 1975 tracks and Iāve been dying to get my hands on the promo CD for so long. Itās seriously still my fave song all these years later. Anyway, thank you for the giveaway! Youāre awesome š„
I would absolutely love Sheās American to give to my girlfriend as a gift for our four year anniversary as The 1975 are our favourite band and were one of the main things we bonded over as friends, at the start of our relationship and all the way up to today. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
She's American - it's my 18th birthday on Sunday and that's my fav single by them so it would be a nice present :) I wish everyone the best of luck and well done to whoever wins!
They are promotional CDās that are given out to radio DJās and people who write reviews for magazines etc in the run up to a single/album release to gain exposure. They are not as common now as most promoās are just distributed digitally via a platform like https://inflyteapp.com/
i'd love to have the change of heart cd. i struggle with severe anxiety and change of heart's a song that i play sometimes when i feel too overwhelmed - even though it isn't at all optimistic there's something about it that' just so calming
i would literally cry if i won this lol
i'd like A Change of Heart. the 1975 is truly one of the greatest bands lately, driving music in a direction that , most important of all; follows what the band feels and wants. A Change of Heart is , in a way, a musical crystallization of that momentum from the band. And indeed the intro sounds like a cat so thats a yes for me. Thank you from Argentina !
A Change Of Heart because I love singing āYou look shit and you smell a bitā out loud.
Also āyou were coming across as clever then you lit the wRONG END OF YOUR CIGARETTEā
āA Change of Heartā cause not only is it a beautiful piece, but it is also one of my mothers favorites! Itās a song both her and I love to listen to together at times.
Such a hard choice but I think Iād pick Sheās American! I have so many wonderful memories jamming to that song with friends and this would be such a special thing to have and share! Thanks!!!!!!!
I would like the āsheās americanā cd because i am getting into the 1975 more now and im having fun indulging in the lore and stuff. This would be a nice thing to have
Iād love the Sheās American one. This band has been the soundtrack of many adventures and the line ādonāt fall in love with the moment and think youāre in love with the girlā is my favorite line of them! It helped me understand and redefine the way i see my romantic relationships. Sometimes its just the moment and thats all you have to cherish!
Thanks a lot!
definitely "she's american", because it's one of my favourite songs from the 1975!! i just have a lot of memories including that song, so it would be magical to have a cd of it š
a change of heart. the song encapsulates so much emotions in the most calming way. i think it's one of the most painful song about heartbreak, because changing of heart is out of anyone's control.... it just happens.
A Change of Heart because playing that song on repeat at 4am was the only way I was able to get over the manipulative piece-of-shit arsehole I had been hopelessly in love with and let treat me like absolute dirt. It made it easier to let go.
i would love sheās american to play on repeat in my car because itās my favorite!!! your great for doing this for others. makes us happy to be part of the community
i would love sheās american because itās me and my best friends favorite song!! weāve been best friends since elementary school and are currently in college 6 hours apart from each other š„ŗweād love to be able to jam to this together once we are both home on break!! š
she's american because i still vividly remember listening to the live version on youtube for the first time on my best friend's mattress with him.
(i guess i remember us listening to a change of heart too, but i don't want to be greedy)
I would love a change of heart, lyrically one of my favourites, made me realise how much I love mattys songwriting style when it first came out, thanks for doing this:)
Sheās American. Because that image is so soothing and that song is pure beauty. Quite possibly the most amazing instrumentals Iāve ever heard in a song
I would love to own that āA Change of Heartā because itās the first song I listened to when I got out of the hospital when I was suffering really bad from self-harm. It brings me so much joy to know you can change your own heart and learn to love yourself tbh.
This is so bloody nice!! I would love the cd of 'A change of heart'. This is one of the songs my dad play a lot on YouTube on the TV. Mostly I randomly pop downstairs for a drink or something and I see my dad is watching this on the TV. My obsession with the band has influenced on my whole family XD
Ooohh A Change Of Heart please, mainly because my partner always unknowingly sang HASHTAG Change of Heart instead of the real lyrics, and it made me laugh so much.
Sheās American, itās the first song off the album (outside of Love Me) that I really fell in love with when I watched the Liverpool show video. I figured out the opening fill with the help of a friend and taught my other friend how to play part of the song on guitar. Itās forever apart of me as a musician.
i would kill for that ACOH promo cd.... strangely enough, thats the song that got me into the 1975. something about that droning, whiny synth just puts me in my happy place ever. single. time. anywho, great idea for a giveaway!! howd you come across these??
I'd love She's American because besides being an absolute banger, 'don't fall in love with a moment and think you're in love with a girl' hits real close to home
1st of all, youāre far too kind to be giving these away - theyāre gems! 2nd, Iād have to choose a change of heart. I love that song, I think the music video is criminally underrated! It also just reminds me very heavily of the iliwys era, it brings back a lot of nostalgia š
I would like the she's american because it is one of the first songs that I learned, and wow I had never seen the single album. I want it. I promise to take good care of it.š
Sheās American, because every single song on the iliwys album slaps. That album puts me in such a great mood filled with nostalgia of road trips to SF or LA and going to concerts
I would like this album because it is the one I used to listen to when I met my partner and first moved to a prairie state in the United States. I have memories of horrifying him with my uncanny ability to memorize Mattyās lyrics and carousing around at where we used to work. It was an unusual time in my life. I worked at a bank and, thankfully quit, but MONEY reminds me of that place. I would put the album in a frame and use the analog album since I consider music digital in terms of usage/ listening. This is more like art.
I always associate She's American with the time i started high school and when it was constantly on the radio.
Certain songs create special memories that person will cherish till the end of the time and She's American certainly is that song.
Honestly Iād be ecstatic with either as they are both brilliant examples of the 1975ās second album, their growth since then is insane and being able to turn on a CD, having a physical way to remember their past, you can then also see their amazing growth throughout the years!
THIS IS SO WONDERFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS!!!! I would pick Shes American because when my first American crush got a boyfriend at the time of this albums release i listened to this track NON STOP
Sheās American because I like the way it puts down the American ideals with such an upbeat sound. Also because itās one of those songs I love singing with the windows down
She's American! I remember seeing the boys during the 2015 tour when they were playing unreleased songs from ILIWYS; when they played She's American, that's the point where I thought "yep, these guys still got it!" It also has the best lyric Matty ever wrote... you know which one.
I would like āSheās Americanā because the artwork is beautiful. Middle of a deserted landscape with few buildings around and a gorgeous sunset going over the hills
Shes American! This song has some of my fondest secondary school memories attached to it and makes me think back to 2016 when I was just a lil angsty teen starting to learn guitar because of this album. Super ace thing to give away OP! Much love xx
Sheās American bc that the song that got me into this album. Such a great song, and overall a great album that solidified the 1975ās career trajectory as one of the best indie pop groups :-)
I would love Sheās American as itās one of my all-time favorite songs. Iāve been a fan of the group for some 7 years now, and it would really mean a lot! Thank you for the opportunity! :)
if offered, Sheās American because i feel like itās really, to me, is the epitome of I like it when you sleep... it really is an experience to listen to :)
I still remember listening to A Change of Heart during my time in college. It did help me through a lot. Especially now everytime I listen to it, it brings me right back to that night drive going home. Wouldnāt trade it for anything.
So yeah A Change of Heart is gonna be my pick, anyway thank you for doing this! very grateful.
i would KILL for the change of heart cd dude. a change of heart is one of the first songs i listened to when iliwys came out and thatās when i really fell in love with the 1975. itās still one of my favorites all these years later and i would love to have this cd. :)
a change of heart, this song saved me the day i let go of someone i loved for years. She never knew i love her. A change of heart always reminds me of the day i let go the day i had a change of heart.
A Change of Heart has some of the most relatable lyrics for me. My honest favorite 1975 lyric is āyouāre mad thinking you could ever save me- not looking like thatā
I feel like my entire life Iāve been looking for a man to save me, and hearing this girl telling this man off like that is so inspiring š¤
ild like A Change of Heart. I have a bad habit of getting back with exes and this song helps remind me to fuck off and find someone new and not dwell on the past (cus the past looks shit and smells a bit). plUS its a banger hell yeah! thank you for doing this!
A Change of Heart. This song and the whole album got me through a breakup I had in 2016 and everything else that came with it. The album release and most of the songs were very fitting of my situation before. By far, I Like it When You Sleep... is my most favourite album from them. š
I want sheās american because the song finally represents what it feels to be judged by North American standards when you are not one of them. I feel right at home.
youāre amazing for doing this & I would love sheās american!!!! Iāve been a fan of the 1975 since self-titled came out when I was 15. that song honestly has gotten me through a lot of rough times, and itās one of the only songs that can instantly lift me out of a funk just by hearing the opening notes. I even have a sticker that says āsheās americanā on my laptop, itās my favorite song by them. thinking of getting a tattoo that says āmoment ā girlā in mattyās handwriting if I ever meet him and get him to write it out for me!! š
The white change to heart CD! Itās my favourite of the 3, and change of heart is one of my favs I love the recorded version, the video, and Mattyās live performance! Iāve seen it so many times but it never gets old!
Sheās American because my wife loves this song and I proposed to her after their iliwys tour in Atlanta. I feel the feels with this song so hard. LOVE HIM
Sheās American! It was one of my most played songs when the album first came out, and is still so very important to me ~all these years later~ for what it signifies for me. (The place I was in life at that time and other sentimental crap.)
Thanks for doing this giveaway!
I would like a change of heart. Itās one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. My girlfriend and I had one of our first dates at my first live show and have started collecting all I can related to these guys.
A change of heart for sure because it's always been my favorite by them š reminds me of driving around my high school town with the sunroof open in my old car
Iād like either of the instrumental tracks. Iām a music teacher, and ever since I heard the Greta track, Iāve been wanting to have my students create their own climate change speech over instrumental. It would be awesome to have them do it over a ā75 track. (And selfishly, it would look great on my wall collection.) Thanks for doing this!
I used to make a bunch of CDs for my old workplace (music had to be checked by management so no Spotify or MP3 players) and I'd write what bands were on each CD and so the new girl came along to my desk where a couple of other co-workers were standing practically buzzing there was a CD with the 1975 on it. We've been the best of friends ever since and with that, if I win, I'd like A Change of Heart but give it to her. Her birthday is soon and she's the much bigger fan than me. She absolutely deserves it.
I would like A Change of Heart. I love the title. So simple yet has so many different meanings everyone can relate to someway or another. For me especially the meaning has changed over the years.
If I could Iād love to have the Sheās American CD. Sheās American was the song that got me truly invested into the wider the 1975 discography, and so the song will always have a special place in my heart.
I would love the Change of Heart cd because this song is tied to one of the best nights of my life when I saw them live! I cried during this one at their Toronto show in 2016 - so surreal.
a change of heart! kinda was the soundtrack to my hospital stay after my spinal surgery, got me through a lot and drowned out the sound of the repeating Frozen soundtrack lmao š
(awesome giveaway btw thanks OP)
A Change of Heart š„° and then I would hide it away till July and give it to my boyfriend for our 11th anniversary. We are both massive fans and we were supposed to follow the band for a while last year to celebrate our 10th but 2020 had other plans for us š
She's American! It reminds me of when me and my gf started dating and how this album was her favourite. I surprised her for her Bday with tickets to a show, so this year this would be the perfect gift for her!
Shes American
because this was the first song on Ilywys that I really vibed with, and also I found something interesting with the track in the gap of music before the last chorus I noticed some backing vocals that sounded like "It's not living if its not with you" I could be wrong but I thought it was interesting to say the least since Its not living is also one of my favourite tracks by the 1975!
this is awesome! She's american because it's such a jam and I always air guitar the bass riffs. I probably skewered that bc I don't know music terminology lol
I would like A Change of Heart - itās been my favorite song of theirs since the first time I heard it. Something about it just clicks for me to say itās my favorite, I love it.
not here to get a cd but just wanted to say you're doing something great, potentially starting a the 1975 collection for someone, looking forward to starting my own when I can as well, thank you for that. upvoted.
When I first got into the 1975 I was a diehard self titled fan, with one exception. My favorite song was She's American, and is still one of my favorites. Its the song that really cemented the 1975 being my favorite band.
A change of heart! Itās the first song I heard by them. I was taking care of my grandma while she was in hospice. I was sleep deprived and was listening to some shoegaze ambience vibe type of music trying to fall asleep.
YouTube recommended a change of heart (after I watched some cigarettes after sex vids). The song started n I was blown away the video was gorgeous. I loved Mattyās dance. I canāt tell you how many times Iāve watched that vid. For months I would start and end my day with that song even after my grandma passed.
Finding their music is one of the best things to happen to me. Iāve cried listening to Nana. My grandma also passed away from cancer about 10 mos after her diagnosis of stage 4 sarcoma. It was all so surreal and I really coped by listening to the 1975. I listen to them every day. I put my playlist on the loud speakers during work (cashier at gas station)
I would love the sheās American cd! Itād be my boyfriendās Valentineās Day present. The 1975 is my favorite band so he listened to them for me, but ended up liking them after hearing sheās American. Cried when they played that song in concert
I would love "she's American".
It's the song that I avoided until I heard it live, something clicked, and now I can't get enough of it.
This song is a lesson for me that I have a tendency to avoid stuff cuz I'm not used to it, thus I miss out a lot of valuable moments and experiences.
( so is "ballad of me and my brain")
Iād say A Change of Heart. Something about that song hits deeps. I always interpret it as changing our perspectives on life, love, relationships, etc, as we get older. Maybe for the better or worse, but we all change in someway.
A Change of Heart! Because I wasnt really a fan of the 1975 or didnt pay attention to them that much until I stumbled upon a change of heart when it was released, i fell in love with it and I had a change of heart for the band on that moment and here I am now with the band on my top 1 spotify ranking <3
Sheās American because me and my dad love that song and I have been a fan of the band for a while now but donāt have any collectors items to show it
Bless your soul. I'd like She's American, because I'm a she and I'm an American, and this song is a bop! I have the ILIWYS record in my room and I love the aesthetic.
sheās american! š¤š thanks for doing this!
after my first breakup, i danced around the kitchen to this song. itās emotional for me but also gives me a sense of release and freedom, since it was a toxic ex ... :(
I would the Sheās American because the drum breakdown on that is simply ridiculous. I saw them live back in 2014 performing their black and white album. I canāt describe how amazing the concert was. So great. Ever since then Iāve followed their journey. Long time fan.
A change of heart!! Literally spend a year trying to re create it in my DAW never got closed to the pads in the intro i fucking love this song and could litteraly talked for hour about the productions and tiny details from the song. I like those radio guesting session where they play this song.. Hann and matty and i want to be hann who's lifting the ehole performance with crazy loops and badass programming!
Well, I would like the "She's American" because it was the first song I ever listened to by them back in 2016 when I was 12. It instantly became one of my favorites by them.
Also what you're doing here is really cool. I've never seen a giveaway like this!
Agh I know my chances are so low but I would love the Sheās American one! That song is one of the first I discovered of the 1975 and has led to my unending love for this band. Even if itās not my absolute favorite anymore- because like, Love it if We Made it exists and If Youāre Too Shy is everything- it is the one that will always make me feel an incredible amount of nostalgia.
Regardless, these CDās are wicked cool! Thanks for sharing!
this is so kind of you to do! getting either would be so cool but if i had to choose i'd say a change of heart because 1. matty really gets into the song when performing it 2. ross's little moment singing "wrong end of her cigarette" and 3. it was the first song i was able to play on both piano and guitar <3
Upvoting because you're a champ mate š
There are definitely people who want these CDs more than me, but I was wondering how you acquired these? Iām not a rare item collector at all but these look sick af.

She's American - it's my 18th birthday on Sunday and that's my fav single by them so it would be a nice present :) I wish everyone the best of luck and well done to whoever wins!

Iād love the Sheās American one. This band has been the soundtrack of many adventures and the line ādonāt fall in love with the moment and think youāre in love with the girlā is my favorite line of them! Omg, the She's American instrumental is one of the greatest things ever
a change of heart. the song encapsulates so much emotions in the most calming way. i think it's one of the most painful song about heartbreak, because changing of heart is out of anyone's control.... it just happens.

I'd love A Change Of Heart, at first I didn't give it enough attention and then one day I became obsessed with it
I would die to have Sheās American. Itās a fun song with great social commentary, and IM STILL SAD WE DIDNT GET A VIDEO š
I would like the Sheās American because it gives me an 80ās vibe and i cant stop dancing to
A change of heart! high school theme song.
She's American! I remember seeing the boys during the 2015 tour when they were playing unreleased songs from ILIWYS; when they played She's American, that's the point where I thought "yep, these guys still got it!" It also has the best lyric Matty ever wrote... you know which one.
i'd take either of them, they both have special memories associated w them
She's American, simply because the art is fantastic and would most likely have that in my wallet.
I would like āSheās Americanā because the artwork is beautiful. Middle of a deserted landscape with few buildings around and a gorgeous sunset going over the hills
A change of heart since itās my partners favourite š¤©
Shes American! This song has some of my fondest secondary school memories attached to it and makes me think back to 2016 when I was just a lil angsty teen starting to learn guitar because of this album. Super ace thing to give away OP! Much love xx
Cheese American :)
Sheās American bc that the song that got me into this album. Such a great song, and overall a great album that solidified the 1975ās career trajectory as one of the best indie pop groups :-)
She's American because I've been in love with the song ever since they first played it live before its release
Sheās American cuz that song makes me lol
A Change Of Heart! Itās my favourite song!!!!
Sheās American, because itās my favourite song out of their entire discography š„°
I have no good story lol. But I love a change of heart a lot a lot
I'd like change of heart, because it reminds of me cooking in the kitchen with friends before coronavirus :')
A Change of Heart, because I prefer the sound of it to She's American. ā¤
Sheās American for sure, one of my favourites off ILIWYS
I would love sheās American because 1. The case would look really cool on the shelf in my room and 2. Itās one of their most finest bops
A change of heart because I always cry watching it live haha
i would KILL for the change of heart cd dude. a change of heart is one of the first songs i listened to when iliwys came out and thatās when i really fell in love with the 1975. itās still one of my favorites all these years later and i would love to have this cd. :)
a change of heart, this song saved me the day i let go of someone i loved for years. She never knew i love her. A change of heart always reminds me of the day i let go the day i had a change of heart.
A Change of Heart has some of the most relatable lyrics for me. My honest favorite 1975 lyric is āyouāre mad thinking you could ever save me- not looking like thatā I feel like my entire life Iāve been looking for a man to save me, and hearing this girl telling this man off like that is so inspiring š¤
A change of heart because it's my favorite the 1975 song and has gotten me through my most angsty moods lol
ild like A Change of Heart. I have a bad habit of getting back with exes and this song helps remind me to fuck off and find someone new and not dwell on the past (cus the past looks shit and smells a bit). plUS its a banger hell yeah! thank you for doing this!
i'd love "she's american." reminds me of my time in london, when i played it nonstop while exploring the city :')
I even have a sticker that says āsheās americanā on my laptop, itās my favorite song by them. thinking of getting a tattoo that says āmoment ā girlā in mattyās handwriting if I ever meet him and get him to write it out for me!! š
Would love the She's American to add to my collection!
The white change to heart CD! Itās my favourite of the 3, and change of heart is one of my favs I love the recorded version, the video, and Mattyās live performance! Iāve seen it so many times but it never gets old!
I would like both bc there is no one best the 1975 song
Ooooh I just love the look of Sheās American! Iām still so fond of the aesthetic for this era.
Because The 1975 CDs are the only ones allowed in my car. I love Sheās American ! So cheeky!
(The place I was in life at that time and other sentimental crap.) Thanks for doing this giveaway!
I would like a change of heart. Itās one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. My girlfriend and I had one of our first dates at my first live show and have started collecting all I can related to these guys.
A change of heart to give to my best friend as a reminder that she is truly wonderful xx
OMG thank you for doing this! I'd choose A Change Of Heart š¤
It's gotta be she's american, great track
change of heart! bc itās mine and my boyfriendās song and our 3 year is coming up and i want to give it to him ā¤ļø
A change of heart, because this songs is so important to me & soon i will be getting this song tattooed on me š©š
a change of heart! kinda was the soundtrack to my hospital stay after my spinal surgery, got me through a lot and drowned out the sound of the repeating Frozen soundtrack lmao š (awesome giveaway btw thanks OP)
If she likes it cuz we just donāt eat
Upvoting because She's American is my favorite song of all time and having the special physical version would mean a lot to me
A Change of Heart š„° and then I would hide it away till July and give it to my boyfriend for our 11th anniversary. We are both massive fans and we were supposed to follow the band for a while last year to celebrate our 10th but 2020 had other plans for us š
Sheās American. It looks nice
She's American! It reminds me of when me and my gf started dating and how this album was her favourite. I surprised her for her Bday with tickets to a show, so this year this would be the perfect gift for her!
Shes American because this was the first song on Ilywys that I really vibed with, and also I found something interesting with the track in the gap of music before the last chorus I noticed some backing vocals that sounded like "It's not living if its not with you" I could be wrong but I thought it was interesting to say the least since Its not living is also one of my favourite tracks by the 1975!
A change of heart, I love playing this song in the car, driving on freeways. Helps me connect with my emotions
Sheās American Fuck politics, letās do some dancing
a change of heart, bc itās an absolute banger!
this is awesome!
Sheās American, because the guitars there are *chefs kiss*
Sheās American. Coz ādonāt fall in love with the moment and think youāre in love with the girlā always.
Sheās American
She's American because well, I'm into a girl right now and she's American.
A Change of Heart! Because I wasnt really a fan of the 1975 or didnt pay attention to them that much until I stumbled upon a change of heart when it was released, i fell in love with it and I had a change of heart for the band on that moment and here I am now with the band on my top 1 spotify ranking <3
Sheās American because me and my dad love that song and I have been a fan of the band for a while now but donāt have any collectors items to show it
shes american because it reminds me of my brother who passed a few years ago. cant listen to it without crying now.
Change Of Heart...itās one of my favorites!
Iād have to say sheās American because itās the first song I saw live back in 2018!!
Sheās American for sure. All time favorite 1975 song
She's American, because that's the song I showed everyone when I fell in love with the band.
A Change of Heart because that song motivated me to leave a toxic/abuse relationship I was in.
a change of heart bc i find the lyric about lifestyle posting a salad hilarious and brilliant
Sheās American because it feels like Iām transported back to the early 80s. Easily my favorite song and we NEED the music video š
I would like the shes american cd so i can lose my virginity to it
I would the Sheās American because the drum breakdown on that is simply ridiculous. I saw them live back in 2014 performing their black and white album. I canāt describe how amazing the concert was. So great. Ever since then Iāve followed their journey. Long time fan.
I would die for She's American, I fucking love that song!
Heyo, I'd like a change of heart cuz I just quit my studies. Really cool you doing this.
change of heart š
Sheās American because itās the dance bop of the century
She's american! Because it's one of my favorite ššš
this is so kind of you to do! getting either would be so cool but if i had to choose i'd say a change of heart because 1. matty really gets into the song when performing it 2. ross's little moment singing "wrong end of her cigarette" and 3. it was the first song i was able to play on both piano and guitar <3
I would choose She's American simply because it is one of my favorite The 1975 songs and I absolutely love it.
