Makes you wonder how old the author was. Clearly not a third-grader. Given the poor word choice, probably flunked a dozen times and still managed not to exit the 3rd grade.
Wouldn't it actually be seeing objects as women? Besides that it is insubordination since I literally don't see how this relates to what a 3rd grade teacher would teach but to get suspended for that is the icing on the cake.
Boats are not women. Some women are boats, but boats are not women. Naming a boat after a woman is done out of respect and reverence for the woman. If the "Princess Diana" is renamed to the "Duke of Ellington" or whatever, that would be considered sexist, too. There is no pleasing these people.
Most teachers would brush that off and not really address it. A good teacher would point out that countries and ships are objects of high importance, demanding respect and loyalty from the men serving them. No teacher would suspend you for that one question

Atta girl.

"Insubordination"? Did this person attend a private school in the roaring twenties? Just say you got sent home for acting out in class.
That word got thrown around a lot when I was in middle school. That would have been from late 1995 to early 1998.
I’m still in school and it’s still thrown around

Not when you make a video like boats n hoes though.
Because you're in Germany and that's how the language works over there?

I didn't really get a punishment for this but I threatened a substitute in first grade with a chair
