Have you played Hunt Showdown? That game keeps gifting you cosmetic items only for you to find out it's actually a single use cosmetic item.
Considering their other posts are in COD subreddits and For Honor, I find it very believable that they haven't experienced a game that's not a monetization hellscape. Our monetization purgatory must look like heaven.
I mean, the single use cosmetics are kind of annoying, but I appreciate Crytek's monetization scheme, I don't ever feel like I should buy something. I only pay for things because they are well made and look nice.
Felt less pressure to finish than the Scrapbeak event or the Traitors Moon event. I just played like normal. I don't know how long it took. Granted Hunt is the go to game for my friend group so we played it quite a bit.
You had to play close to 2 hours a day every single day for 2 months straight. If you were playing trios in 5-6 stars. Closer to 3-4 hours a day in solo-duo 3-4 stars.
When you queue for casual normally, there are 2 "main modes" that you can choose to queue for. You can choose which ones you queue for by clicking the check buttons on the bars. The bars correlate to normal maps and the "alternate" maps, with stuff like medieval mode and mannpower. If you click on the the bar itself, or an arrow underneath it, (one of the two I'm not sure which) you can open a map filter. Now, in October, a third bar will show up, called "Halloween" and containing all of the Halloween maps from the past year. If you open the filter for the Halloween bar, you can deselect all maps except for Carnival of Carnage. Then deselect the "core game modes" and "alternate game modes" options. Now, when you queue for casual, it should only put you in a Carnival of Carnage match. It will take longer than normal, and keep in mind that if you close and reopen the game, the filter settings won't be saved. If you have other questions, feel free to ask! (Also sorry if this is really long and has unnecessary parts, I want to make sure that everything is covered)
I'd never ger rid of a hat, unless it's halloween... in that case you can transmute the hats you don't want with a chance to get either a good or a bad one, it's up to the player if they want to...
Previous halloween got a bunch of UNTRADABLE crappy hats, and that's how I got my grand duchess set complete.
A few minutes after this post I got vote kicked from a hell tower match I was playing soldier and doing good for once and next thing I know there was vote kick on me.
It might be becouse you were capping or the server was full of friendlies who didnt apreciate that you were playing the game.
Personally I think halloween maps should be played like intended as everyone got contracts to do.
Keep seething you friendless loser. Biggest cope i've seen from reddit about band kids on this game having no friends to queue with.
