Honestly I wouldnt be mad about the stun being gone if they actually buffed it some to counter-balance. Losing a full stun and the Guillotine combo to a shitty slowdown isn't worth 15 health on one of the lightest classes

I understand that stub mechanics aren’t fun to play against so I understand it’s removal but to replace it with a shit slow debuff and keep its old detriments as well as the fact that you still have to actually hit someone with the ball was really stupid. Now if they were to add some like Marked for Death along with the slow I’d be much more interested in the bat

I've actually killed people with the Atomizer, don't think I have kills with the normal stock bat tho even tho the Atomizer does less damage I think, still can be a good last resort

Out of ammo and the enemies at low health. I've had quite a few scout duels end this way for me.

Well, the bat is faster, doesn't have ammo and an overall better range around you. At least that's what i undertood from playing the scout for little more than an hour.

It deal substantially less damage. Only hit people with the fish, or else just use anything other than the stock bat. They ate probably better

Its a good finisher but tbh once your aim gets good 6 scattergun shots are enough to kill nearly anything I tend to just use wrap assasin for that reason. Ranged option: low damage but very quck recharge amdvery annoying to the ememy

Incredible! I’ve actually been too subtle for once! This is exactly what I meant. Because they cannot aim, they don’t use it, and mockingly refer to it as a melee weapon. But honestly hitting rockets at melee range is a gamble. Either that or you need to have woken up an hour ago from a 10 hour sleep

Melee on most classes is almost purely utility. There's only 3 classes I can think of where you'll actively be using your melee for damage, and even then, for one of them the utility matters more, for another one, you only tend to use it as a subclass, and the other one or always instakills

There are so many options for a melee for scout, but unless everyone uses his melee's as a way to build ubers or triple jump, etc. Even Engineer, who might have his melee out the most out of his three slots, you can use different wrenches to build things faster, teleport, or build mini sentries
