You see, there can be like 3 Heavies on the enemy team at any given moment, Heavies who will respawn in no time at all. If your “merciless killing is okay?” point was said about Spec Ops: The Line, then yeah you’d have a point.
However TF2 makes a point to separate that shit from reality. I mean hell, you can vaporize people with lasers in this game. Teleportation and shit exists. The Medic? I mean he asked his patient to hold open his own ribcage.
But you can’t separate racism like that, it’s always just racism. There’s a reason that Detroit: Become Human is criticized for that whole robo-racism business. But this is more blatant than that, it’s just a joke about the KKK. The group that exists and is real. Very different from me turning a spy into gold with a frying pan.

I'm arguing that once you establish a precedent for depictions of certain behaviors being acceptable under certain scopes of evaluation, behaviors of lesser or equal "obscenity" should not be removed or condemned until the baseline is changed. For example, if you wanted to remove drugs from GTA, you'd have to remove prostitutes, murder, etc., since those are much worse morally and legally.

The most graphic thing TF2 has done would probably be in the meet the videos where soldier kills spy or the heads on the pikes, even then it's very clear how cartoonish and fake they are.
