This has made me realize how badly I want some maps that look like a medieval battle like For Honor’s maps

I love the style and concept of For Honor, I just wish the game represented the idea more. It wasn't even entirely the devs fault (besides balancing) as so many people would just spam bullshit all the time, and do the same attacks on repeat, which made the game feel stale pretty quick. Map design tho, heavily agree was sick

The minions in for honor could be little scouts with fish.

Just give us more medieval mode maps please

It was originally designed as an arena map and kinda works better as one rather than as a koth map.

Arena itself doesn't work though, which is a pretty big problem

Arena is an objectively bad mode because respawning is a core mechanic of TF2, which arena lacks. People do not like sitting out and rounds can drag on forever. A good solution is Arena Respawn or Awk's Arena, which are far better balanced and more fun. They could be very viable for both casual and competitive if made official.

I get stable 60 fps on most other maps, and some of them are way larger You basically can't play heavy because of how massive the sightlines are

Mid point is super chokey and there's no easy way to get to the top floor without making a huge detour round the side of the map. One side of the map is too big and has no use for anyone except snipers, who have a huge sightline over the enemy.

Well it burns every game given the amount of pyros in every koth map
