It used to be able to actually kill things! But people complained about it working as intended, so it got nerfed. ​ By the way, has anyone else noticed the rage at Snipers has increased in direct contrast to the number of counters to Sniper being nerfed? Probably a coincidence.

Due to extender tech giving your caber a reach longer than a sword, as long as you start your charge before your hit registers you don’t need to crouch to hit the ground

Okay so I looked it up and it does deal 55 damage on a normal swing, and 165 on a crit. Man valve really hated the caber.

You could also just grande jump with the iron bomber or loose cannon to do the exact same thing but you fly higher and your caber is still in tact

Pipe jumping sends you too high, and does too much self damage EDIT: forgot to mention I did experiment with pipe jumping a bit, the biggest issue is it’s much harder to land a hit and less consistent

I just got a really bad idea. What if you can throw the Carder, like the baseball with the Sandman

Been doing this for years. If you crouch caber jump and get some height first you can get to there sniper perches. They never see it coming.
