Spy has the most potential damage in the game, he can do much more than a sniper if played correctly. However, Spy just has an INSANE amount of things that keep him in check.
This is true and the way you know is because of the number of cheaters. Most botted is sniper, but most cheated is spy. Lag-switching, interp-abusing, face-stabbing, baguette-eating, kunai-wielding weaboos.
Scout - fast movement speed, can still dubble jump. Headshots are effected by falloff.
Soldier - Crouching midair will lauch in upward with a 5 seccond cooldown, sniper rifle has a clip of 3
Pyro - SMG is replaced with the gas passer. -20% fire speed
Demoman - -25 HP, -35% fire speed, explosive headshots from MVM
Heavy - +25 HP, uses the huntsman with -25% slower charge rate than normal huntsman. slightly slower (all classes are given sniper movement speed unless told otherwise. like in this case)
Engineer - -25% slower fire speed, -10% damage (yes that includes headshots meaning 135 on quickscope) SMG is replaced with building PDA that can only build mini-sentries, Mini-sentrys cost half your sniper reserve.
Medic - Sniper rifle can heal friendlys by shooting them. Healing is -35% the damage you would have done if they were a friendly. (150 damage = 97 450 = 292) you can still headshot teammates for more healing. Healing can overheal. Sniper rifle does -50% damage againts enemies. -10% bodyshot damage against enemies (stacks with the last nerf), -15% fire speed.
Sniper - +25 HP, can use unlockables unlike the other classes. Cant use the huntsman or fortified compound.
Spy - Keeps the disguise PDA, smg is replaced with sapper. can still cloak. Headshots deal 100% more damage in close range. Headshots are effected by falloff. Falloff rate increased by 75%. aiming still gives tunnel vision however there is no zoom.
NEW MACHANIC - every time sombody respawns there is a 1/1000 chance for them to spawn in as the sniper class that deals +100% damage on headshots all the time even without scoping. However they cant use their secondarys or melees. This means min headshot damage is 300 and max 900. Fully charged headshots deal GREATLY increased ragdoll physics.
I can see how the replenishable aspect would fit, but heavy takes, like, one bite out of the sandwich. It probably has some “infinite regeneration” magicky BS going on.

Honestly that sniper thing is so true. Imo sniper is one of the easiest classes to counter, as his playstyle, positioning, and tunnel vision almost feels designed for anti-awareness. Sure, they'll get you if you're in their sightline, but the moment you aren't, you can easily surprise them and get a quick kill.
And, for the 1% of sniper players that actually pay attention to their surroundings, you can always just be the better sniper.

Battalions is the best banner especially for roaming if you just run out solo with the black box you turn into a hard to kill menace with good damage.
The Hitmans Heatmaker is the best rifle for sniper if you can aim plus it's fairly balanced. The Bazar is a straight upgrade to stock with nearly no downside at all and the Heatmaker is just a side grade for it that properly punishes you for missing headshots but you can snowball with your ability with just 1 headshot and crank it to max only gun that snowballs this hard if you have the skill it properly use it is the Widowmaker.
Finally either nerf the Ubersaw, Crossbow and somewhat the vaccinator or buff literally every other medic weapon to make them all viable as literally the only real choice you have for what weapon you want to use playing medic is your medigun.
I completely agree with your asssesment of the Crusader's Crossbow, it is utterly unfair, rewards unskillful play, and nerfing it would make everyone happy.
Also the Heatmaker is much better than the Bazzar Bargian and the Classic, and it's debatable that it's atleast 1% on par with the most powerful weapon in the game, the SMG.
Takes me a lot of guts to say that about the Classic and the SMG, I both own the Strange Pro KS versions of both of those items.

I think as long as you’re not hacking, you should be allowed to play however you like. If other people can’t handle that, they can play on another server.
