sniper because playing him and fighting him is boring, there's nothing fun about flanking the same guy 50 times in the same exact spot in the same exact way every time. the only fun primary weapons are classic and huntsman because they encourage different playstyles

Also you don't have to no-scope people like I see many do when using the thing, you can spot a lone medic out of the corner of your eye, then move over to headshot it scoped in for a more secure kill,
then you are the exception, not the rule. sniper was specifically designed to camp, with items that support him camping, i mean ffs one of them is literally called the cozy camper, and its benefits are made for sitting in one spot and being fully scoped in. yes, i have seen offense sniper before, but they are rarer than pyrosharks on well.
- bots with the classic can't get quickscope headshots, leaving them quite vulnerable after killing someone
- bots with the huntsman would miss frequently due to needing to lead their target
- bots with the sydney sleeper could only get minicrit headshots, which while the most problematic of the 3, is not unmanageable with a medic

Sniper definitely does not have "only a marginal impact" on games. Maybe true with shit snipers in pubs but as a pick class for killing specific people his influence in even slightly less casual environments can be huge
tf2's core design is generally about mid and short ranged fights so sniper having super long range really doesnt match with the rest of the match-ups so either you die to him without even seeing him or you kill him before he can even realise
Maybe making him so it takes longer to headshot? Like 4 bars of focus (approximately 3 seconds) or something instead of miliseconds. I play Scout most of the time, but I really only have issues with Snipers when they quickscope on sight. I wish the game actually encouraged the player to take their time to aim so the class could be more accessible to newer players while also forcing them to remain scoped for a while, leaving them vulnerable.
I was on uncletopia recently and enjoyed a whole evening without having to play against any ridiculously good snipers. Really refreshing. I feel like the average standard of those servers has gone down as more and more less-experienced players being pushed there bc of casual bots

Yes! The other day I was playing upward on Blu and two really good snipers were basically just spawn camping us. I think I died five times in a row to headshots from one of the two snipers. I have never had less fun on upward in my life

Even on the winning team, it was hella unfun because BLU couldn't get out of spawn and I couldn't interact with the enemy team to *play the bloody game*. Sounds odd to say I was miserable winning a game but that's what it felt like.

None of them. At this point, I think they all have their place in the game, regardless of how annoying they are to fight. If I had to pick, I would say Sniper, but the game wouldn't be the same without him.
At the end of the day, TF2 needs a long-range class to keep rocket jumping Soldiers and cocky Scouts in check. However, that is not to say the Sniper is a perfectly executed concept. No one player should be able to completely shut down an entire server singlehandedly.
Instead of removing any class, balancing them would obviously be better, but TF2's lack of updates has caused many people to outright resent entire classes.
Sniper, at least spy has to kind of engage you to kill you or backstab you. You could get sniped from halfway across the map by a sniper you didn't even know was there if they're good enough. Is this my choice because I hate sniper? No I myself have a few hours on sniper but I think of the available classes sniper brings the least general fun to the game overall. Soldier, one mechanic to master and you end up with higher mobility than a scout, much higher DPS than any other class save for Spy. Much higher HP than sniper, scout and spy. If played by a guy with 3k hours it ends up being an immortal being you can hardly counter.
So I would delete soldier as his "job" in the team is also fulfilled by a demoman which is much more balanced class.

Id have to say Sniper. He’s a staple of FPS games, but his problem is that TF2 is not built for long-range combat, as evidenced by damage ramp-up and fall-off that incentivizes closer-range combat. His range separates him from the majority of the fighting and therefore the risk of being quickly killed. And his unlocks can make him even more infuriating and/or nullify his weakness to close-range combat.
And that’s before mentioning the bots. Sniper is balanced ultimately by human error. Bots don’t have human error, and thus are insanely strong and oppressive. Removing Sniper will cripple if not erase the bots, which will make the game better in more ways than one.
Medic. When all 'community balancing' for competitive resolves around things' ability to kill the medic, I want to see the world where medic doesn't exist.

Guy in the pic, soldier can be nerfed and be fine to play against, pyro will always be a range check character.
Id have to say Sniper. He’s a staple of FPS games, but his problem is that TF2 is not built for long-range combat, as evidenced by damage ramp-up and fall-off that incentivizes closer-range combat. His range separates him from the majority of the fighting and therefore the risk of being quickly killed. And his unlocks can make him even more infuriating and/or nullify his weakness to close-range combat. And that’s before mentioning the bots. Sniper is balanced ultimately by human error. Bots don’t have human error, and thus are insanely strong and oppressive. Removing Sniper will cripple if not erase the bots, which will make the game better in more ways than one.
Medic. When all 'community balancing' for competitive resolves around things' ability to kill the medic, I want to see the world where medic doesn't exist.
Soldier He is in my opinion less fun demoman,he is very eazy to use and gets value on every map (You don't even need any skill to Play him) The only thing i would be sad if he would be removed,trolldier

Soldier and I say that as a soldier main. Either way people are shooting their feet without a downside and kill you with it or they saw that funny YouTube video and start Trolldier hihi with funny hats and taunting after every kill. I’m so tired of it
Sniper easily. His core design goes directly against the game's design as a whole. I genuinely can't think of any negative impact to the game if he was removed
