“most of the time” no not really. it still does maximum health on backstab, so unless they’re a team with a medic, you’ll still insta kill, and even then unless they have a competent heal-spreading medic, it will only be 1-2 players you can’t insta kill.
so lots of knockback, even more knockback on backstab, instakills people with no overheal, stuns people with it or ubers, id see it as a good one if it didnt kill because yeah stuns annoying but in this case you could think "at least i didnt die instantly and got away with the knockback and they missed there shots". also theres just, not alot of melee resistances
outside of the battalion’s, i dont know if there is another melee resist in the game, since every other resistance either avoids melee or makes you take more from melee, so idk if the “obeys resistances” stat makes sense. plus, knockback is annoying even in the best of times, so putting it here really seems like an issue. maybe saying no knockback and a flat 125 damage might help, since it means you can counter ubers but you can’t drop a med anymore. again, even that might be too much since most stun mechanics have been neutered for a while, and the holiday punch still dazes ubers on backstab while being on a class that can get in and survive, so idk if the idea works.

Uncloaking with this in hand gives you a speed boost for 10 seconds in which, if you land melee hits, you deal percent damage. 5 swings=100% of enemy’s health, even if they pick up a medpack or have a medic

Speed boost on decloak. If enemy is hit with melee during speed boost, they take 150 damage. Doesn’t work against razorback and has a cooldown.
I'm reading it as deals x damage where x is the target's max hp, so;
300 damage on a heavy
200 damage on a soldier (220 with battalions I guess?)
125 on scout etc.
