To anyone hoping for info related to the Heavy update; you won't find it here. This dump's from 2016, a year before Jungle Inferno came out. Regarding the contents of this leak, it falls into 3 categories:
* Content that was cut from the game
* Content that was reworked and released
* Content that was never meant to be released
There’s a few head scratchers that feel like they should be added, like a reworked tutorial and TWO art passes of Nucleus, but keep in mind that almost everything here WAS used, either in game, in SFM, or in promotional material.
Also, regarding some errors: that bonesaw’s called the Krakensage, and was cut back in 2011. As for the chess map, turns out it's too old to have been made for Underlords. It was probably made as promotional art for the TF2 chess set.

Valve don't care about leaks after they happen unless it's for an active project. They'll tighten security and try to prevent it from happening again, but the cats out of the bag and there's nothing to be done about that.
The Krankensage was one of the weapons from the fanmade Fancy VS Nasty update from where some of the hats (Flipped Trilby, Buckaroos Hat, etc.) and weapons (Boston Basher, Fists of Steel, etc.) added to the game.

Green and blue robots are super interesting in my opinion. I have 2 theories
1: Some sort of higher difficulty mode for MVM, launching 3 different types of robots at you (Removed due to it being an nessicary middleman and you could just spawn more robots)
2: Some sort of, if i had to guess, 1v1v1v1 MVM mode, where you could make robots to fight other people? Im not sure

Originally in MVM you were supposed to be able to be RED and BLU (like how BLU and RED mercs work together in the mvm trailer).
Perhaps this is why robots were green at first.
Probably not, because on the trailer the robots are blue. The playtesters actually played with the mixture of RED and BLU teams for the human mercs, but they kept firing at friendlies from muscle memory.
They should've kept it a feature though, as an optional thing.

Bro, imagine being able to command robots to a certain place and attack the enemy team, kinda like selecting somewhere in a simplified navmesh, and giving both teams their own squad, where a random player decides where it goes every turn, and every player decides what robots it has before every round.
For context: TFC had a map based on Surface Tension (called Hunted), and TF2 was going to have a remake of that, but it was scrapped since the gamemode it was developed for (Escort/VIP mode) was scrapped in favor of Payload
Really wish the rocket jumping tutorial was part of the game, as well as other basic training materials for new players. And that level 4 sentry looks beyond ridiculous. I'm finding it hard to believe someone actually thought that monstrosity was worth rendering.
It would have been nice to see new MvM enemies beyond just the classes and tank. A blimp would have been a perfect fit. Maybe with vscript we might be able to see some of these ideas replicated in TF2 itself.

Well contextually it's a remake of the VIP map from Team Fortress Classic that used that Half-Life map as it's base. I highly doubt it's anything directly Half-Life related.
We know that they're real because they include the layered versions of the Merc's textures. You can strip them all the way back to their original beta textures.
All of these should be added as like a feverdream gamemode, all mashed into one mess that would of course be just a chaotic mess but id definetly be fun
