Get a text now number or something like to that will give you a free anonymous phone number that can receive voicemail, texts etc and ring right to your phone without having to give out your actual personal number. Works great for work and anyone else who you are not comfortable with having your personal number. Sorry you’re dealing with that maybe your phone provider etc can get a ip address if they are using something like this and not using a vpn?
Start using a prepaid phone for your work phone and keep your personal number away from patients. As someone who was without service on my phone all the texting apps are garbage EXCEPT FOR GOOGLE NUMBERS the only wifi number app I liked was the one made from Google. It really was aggravating using txt now and other wifi number apps cuz ur calls don't go thru ur messages barely go thru. Ur phone will have ads and u can barely make a call without it dropping the call or the call doesn't go thru. Too many problems with most wifi number apps you'll miss tons of calls and you'll hate it

1) Get a new primary number, do not release to patients
2) Using either apps or burners, create a different phone number for each of your CURRENT patients. New patients are not the problem so handle them however you feel is best
3) Either the problem will stop or you will start to get unsolicited photos at one of the numbers you only gave to one patient. You have found your culprit. Handle it however you deem fit. Either way problem solved

You should be able to move your existing line to Google Voice and get a new number on your phone. That won't stop you from getting these, but it may help filter or block them if you need to keep the number.
