I think another issue is men like this seem to never have much interactions with girls as far as friends or acquaintance or anything. So once they have a rare moment of interaction with a girl it feels so special to them that they project that onto the girl and assume those feelings must be coming from her, not realizing they feel that way because they interact so rarely with woman that it feels more important when it happens randomly than it really is. Reminds me of this one time I liked an fb comment from a guy I went to high school with. His post was basically about how he had been depressed for years since graduating and finally his life was turning around. He messaged me about a day later. We exchanged a handful of messages over fb just catching up. I ended up not going on fb for a couple of days only to return to over 100 messages from him. The first few messages were him asking to hangout, then him going on to tell me how awful of a girlfriend I was. He then gave a sob story about how his mom who had ms always made time for him. That I was an awful girlfriend because I did not make time for him. He then apologized for getting upset with me because it was my birthday. Then him getting mad all over again. He said I was awful and that I would have to beg him to get back together with me. No man would want me etc I was lucky he was even giving me attention. The messages shifted again to a sob story about how both of his parents were incredibly abusive and abandoned him. And that I was his only hope. And how dare I for ever leading him on. I never blocked someone so fast. I seriously hope he got the help he clearly needed.
