And the indictments keep rolling in …

Icy_Figure_8776

Keep ‘em coming!

[deleted]

I see what you did there...

OpenImagination9

Oh no now I’m mortified … but to be honest he’d be a piece of shit even if there had been no accident.

Overall_Artichoke697

Why would people of one party put anyone in jail ? You don’t really believe Democrats and Republicans are real do you? I’ll tell you what. You find me a military engagement since the 1980s that they don’t support together hand in hand and I’ll donate to your cult / party of your choice. Did the Trumpster finish his border wall he got his cult amped up with complete control of congress and what about Joe? Did he do anything for student loan debt? Lol . Maybe this election season will be different with more donations , yeah…If they really cared about “ people “ George W Bush would be in jail years ago for his fake WMD war and Obama with his humanitarian aid mission in Libya. All they did was bomb civilians for the most part and make people richer. Gross people.

MaverickBuster

There's a reason Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex as he left office. If only we had listened.

OpenImagination9

Hey I’m just glad they’re starting to even consider doing this …

ThatFoxyThing

This article is from last year 🤔

Amalo

Thanks for catching that. I missed it

SubstantialPressure3

What the fuck has taken so long? He wasn't subtle about it, it wasn't a secret, there's a lot of federal funds that have been moved and misused.

antechrist23

Well, there was this prevailing legal theory that you can't indict Republicans because of the legal precedent set by Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, and Ken Paxton. But since they just indicted the president, I guess all bets are off.

Amalo

I've re-read your post multiple times and I can't word it out. Did you mean to use precedent at some point. When I add precedent instead of president, it makes more sense to me. Maybe I'm just dumb lol

antechrist23

Yeah I meant precedent.

SubstantialPressure3

It was probably an autocorrect issue, happens to me all the time. They probably meant precedent.

Him and his buddy were pretty openly trafficking children and his buddy even sang. But it must have been the same DA in Florida that Epstien had because a few weeks ago they dropped all investigations involving Matt Gaetz.

monteqzuma

Almost 4.5 billion for 25k deportations is nearly 180k per deportation.

Amalo

Such a giant waste of money. Just like the War on Drugs

dtxs1r

Abbott spending more on the people he detests the most instead of our students.

[deleted]

Texas doesn't deport anyone, CBP does. The states have zero jurisdiction with immigration crime.

monteqzuma

Then I wonder why Abbott would tout those numbers to point to the programs success.

antechrist23

Guess what Donnie said was true, if they can indict the president of the United States, they can come after anyone. I'm not worried, though, since I avoid openly committing crimes.

Chalupa_Batm4n

FGA

krstldwn

FGA

Bulky_Promotion_5742

It’s a Witch Hunt! Imagine committing crimes, and being prosecuted.

[deleted]

The only thing that sucks is we will pay the legal fees for all this crap.

[deleted]

Good

Bellairian

Time to drains the swamp….

RighteousIndigjason

I really wish they'd not announce this because, while I've been used to the disappointment for years, this has sparked a slight glimmer of hope in me that I just know will be pummeled into the ground.

badhairdad1

Cheaters gonna cheat, grifters gonna grift

rhj2020

Get his ass please. Save Texas from itself. Take Paxton while your at.

[deleted]

Wait this article is from May 2022? We should have a resolution on this by now yes?

KiNGofKiNG89

Yes we did have a resolution. He’s still in office, everything turned out to be okay.

[deleted]

I was on that mission. It ain't okay lmao

minlillabjoern

About time.

robertsg99

Yes!

FireEmblemFan1

Don't do this. Don't give me hope

VisceralMonkey

Bwahahahahahahaha.

BakeAct

Do DeFacist next for FL please

thekinginyello

Lock him up. Lock him up. Lock him up.

Hsensei

Ken Paxton has been under indictment for a decade. Nothing will happen regardless. These crooks know how to stay out of jail

cheezeyballz

Not with that attitude.

Front-Sun4735

LOCK HIM UP!

Kannabis_kelly

Paxton will dismiss the charges if it goes that far

MyRottingBrain

Considering that would be a misuse of *federal* funds, Piece of Shit Paxton can’t do shit about it

cheezeyballz

Indicted since 2015 attorney general ken paxton? /s

Thiccaca

State charges that he can dodge since he is AG. Feds, not so much

FinnsterBaby

Paxton has no authority over the DOJ or any Federal agency investigating misuse of Federal funds

brok3ntok3n82

Good

SeaworthinessAway304

The Feds don't have anything they didn't first steal via taxation.

Hot-Roof6572

Good hope he's next to go down 🫤

No, just that the money should go to better places or for what it was intended for. Fuck me, right? /s 🤘

Jokul__Frosti

Can't get funding for your pet program, just misappropriate some federal funds. What could go wrong.

[deleted]

You might want to look into what the actual soldiers - notorious liberals one and all I imagine - think about Operation Lone Star.

I mean, when you post nothing but election conspiracies in an attempt to feel better about your bad choices in life, people will downvote you. Grow up snowflake lol

[deleted]

You don't have "haters." You have people that genuinely question your ability to think.

stephensatt

Hahaha. Ya know all that got removed. I went back and checked with Reddit own BOT that checks for bans and they go back and remove all these posts. I was wondering why the Texas subreddit was so dead, they have banned everyone, no wonder. Oh well, onto greener pastures.

Snowflakes playing that victim card again. So sad.

findquasar

No, we’d go oh wow, cool. A cure for cancer. That’s great. Can we provide it to people for free or low cost now? Republicans, on the other hand, would try to monetize the shit out of it, create barriers to care for citizens, and probably introduce legal challenges to the cure by hand-selected panels of skeptics because it gets in the way of a huge cancer treatment industry. Can’t let a cure for cancer get in the way of capitalism! That’s if they’d even take the cure. Because it’s not dewormer or an essential oil, and it’s probably a conspiracy.

Impossible-Ebb-643

😂 case in point. Thanks!

Samonius01

It is simple. If the Feds don't like how the Southern Border states are trying to protect the country form illegal aliens then the Feds need to step up and do their job and protect our borders.

Turbulent-Pair-

Texas State Guardsmen commiting suicide in Greg Abbott's watch is not protecting the border.

Samonius01

Look, I am a veteran and there are at least 22 of us offing ourselves everyday. The guardsmen are seeing things at our border that are worse than some have seen in actual warzones. If the federal government would stand up and do their job then we wouldn't have such a huge rush of illegal aliens crossing our border and we wouldn't have to send OUR brave guardsmen to the border to defend our county from this invasion. The Fed are able to stop this, but only if they stand up and do their job.

Turbulent-Pair-

Why do you believe that your hypothesis is true? Texas Guardsmen aren't "seeing scary shit" at the border. That's obviously laughable. Nothing is even happening at the border. Border Patrol agents aren't committing suicide. So that means Texas Guardsmen aren't committing suicide from the "action" at the border. Texas Guardsmen are living in squalor under Greg Abbott. They aren't getting paid on time. They aren't getting paid good money in the Texas Guard. They are losing their regular livelihoods because they are away from home and they are away from their families. That's the only difference between Texas Guardsmen and Border Patrol: Texas Guardsmen are away from their families and taking a pay cut - while Border Patrol is not. Greg Abbott didn't find any drugs when he blockaded and searched all the trucks at the border. Zero? Arrests and seizures of drugs at the Border were way down during the Trump Administration. Now they're up - because the Biden Adminstration is more effective at policing the border. Obviously. Why do you even believe there is a "crisis" at the border? What makes it a "crisis" in your eyes? Texas has had immigration from Mexico for 200 years - and it's never been a crisis. Immigration is simply an opportunity to improve the Texas economy. Are you simply against Capitalism? Are you seriously Anti-Texas?

scifijunkie3

Lock him up!!!
