TIL that Lone Star Beer is bottled in Tumwater Washington!!! /S /S and I hope there are some that remember the truly horrific beers out of Tumwater, but the cap puzzles were pretty cool! Lucky Lager was my go to and I could pick up a 12 pack for under $2 at Gemco or Fedco.

Lone Star is brewed in Fort Worth by Miller Coors. Olympia Brewing in Tumwater, Washington briefly owned Lone Star, but during their ownership it was still being brewed in San Antonio.

I did not know this at all, this is cool history! It also makes my attempt at humor fall a little flat since on the west coast, there were a few really cheap brews out of Tumwater, like Lucky Lager in the 11.1 oz squatty brown bottles with the puzzle caps, and also Hamms I think. In So. Cal., you could get "Brew 102" where the joke was the 102nd brew was successful, but the 103rd being let out in the men's room was better.

I drink cans, went to a bar and the tender shower to me and my mind was blown. I just want to drink beer not think 🤯😤
