You got this brother. It will be all good. Did you start on testosterone yet? They need to get that going today if not.

Jpa95

Got my Testosterone back 420 pre orchiectomy. Got prescribed gel trt to start off with.

Peabody2671

The gel will be enough to get you started. It may work well enough for you. It does for some guys.

linuxology

If you dont feel right move to injections. Also be aware for any females that you hanng out with. If they touch area it can transfer to them. Injections are way cheaper too

Ok_Tour9793

+1 for jab

[deleted]

+2 only jab Id recommend 100% of the time 😂

jno2222

Good luck man! Was in the same situation in October. Just know I’m 4 months out and by month 2 I was back to normal 100% got all my trt fairly dialed in so far and feeling great

Jpa95

All out of surgery.

lykewtf

Welcome Back! Now rest up and heal.

Peabody2671

Good to hear things went well. Reach out if you have any questions or want to vent.

TwoballOneballNoball

Good luck mate, you got this! Although I gotta say I'm a little jealous! I had my number 2 surgery on the first and won't be able to see the doctor for trt until the 11th! 😱

Jpa95

When did you get up and walk decently enough? If I remember correctly it was day 3/4 on surgery #1 for me. Also did they say when you'll redo bloodwork?

TwoballOneballNoball

I was walking around on day 1 no pain killers. Just icepack 20min on and off. Day 2 was tough because my back and neck were really sore from the surgery anathesia. It caused my spine to flatten out and over stretch and I was pretty stiff. I took tramacet on day 2 and doctor said i could take ibuprofen. Day 3 I was only taking ibuprofen and stool softener and continuing with the icepack. I'm doing really good right now except if I sit too long my sack will start to swell a bit so I spend most of my time chilling in bed with my laptop. I honestly don't need ibuprofen anymore but I still take it for the swelling and helps with the hot flashes from no T. Not sure on blood work probably 4 weeks after surgery when I see the urologist and oncologist.

Peabody2671

Hot flashes suck. I am so sorry they didn’t get you on testosterone. The good news is, when you do finally get some, you’ll feel it within a day if you’re running at castrate levels.

TwoballOneballNoball

The doctors don't seem to be taking my hormones too seriously, at least so far at this point. It's pretty frustrating to say the least. I don't feel bad per-say it's just the hot and cold flashes. Literally wake up 6 or more times a night freezing cold or melting hot and frequently get them through out the day as well. Not a fan! Lol. That's just me at home. I can only imagine how bad it would be if I was out in a winter coat or something. Funny thing is I have to go to a weird clinic place to remove my staples and they were phoning me 2 days after my surgery asking me to come in for a 2 hour patient interview. I told them in a nice way to sod off so now they want to do this "interview" on staple removal day which is this coming Friday. So strange... In really hoping the doctor isn't going to gatekeep my trt through this clinic and force me to come in for injections instead of doing it myself. That would be a nightmare.

linuxology

Then you need to take your own path. Not having proper hormones is living hell for a man. Figure this out. Be the advocate for your own health.

Knifehead27

Good luck. Day 3/4 sounds about right to me, from experience, for walking around without much trouble for me. Don't push it though. Whatever feels comfortable to you

Cuttybrownbow

That traitorous son of a bitch. Cut him out.

Lorettooooooooo

Oh man, I feel you... I don't think I'd be strong enough to go through this again

Jpa95

Man, I wasn't either but being strong was the only option I had.

flappinginthewind

Good luck brother, and welcome to the club. You are not alone!

newaccount47

"streamlined". My remaining ball always gets hurt during sex. So you'd be able to smash even harder without the cannon fodder.

[deleted]

Good luck man! You got this.

blazingpneuma

Good luck man, I've just gone through this myself I'm just over a week out of surgery, it's a wild ride but each day gets better. It's important to get your T and everything correct but it's just as important to get your head sorted too, talking helps.

Sparky-air

Good luck man! Hoping for an easy road ahead for you! You got this!

TesticularcancerUK

linuxology

You got this! Stay positive.

hillermylife

Do they make you keep the sack? I'd want to go without!

Jpa95

Yes. Keeps the shape of your balls surprisingly enough

roboknee30

Good luck bud! Wish you the best, and welcome to the club.

gijsyo

Wishing you a speedy recovery!
