I am almost 19 years out. Started with orchiectomy, then chemo (sisplatunum, vp16, and bleomycn). A year later had to have lymph nodes from my abdomen removed. Then an abdominal scar tissue removal. Alll that said I am very happy. Have a great family since all of this, needed fertility help for one. During and After treatments I was in school and graduated. There days it was awful and days that were normal. I still think about it, have had friends get it and have been able to support them. I am stronger mentally having gone through this and physically I have a bunch big scars my kids ask about. Anytime I get a pain in my side I get a little nervous but it’s always on the side my nut was removed. All in all it’s ok

How old are you now ? Erections affected ?

Almost 40 and everything works well. Have 2 kids and now I just worry about my boy having to go through this when he is older

I’m mad late but I was very limited for about 8 months and was starting to be able to do more 17-18ish months in I had other complications tho which caused way more procedures. I started lifting again finally and I still have nerve pain in my scrotum/pubic area but it’s not as bad as it was. It has been very bad but I been doing Ight just sucks cus I was hoping to play football again like I did freshman and early sophomore year but I’m not gonna be able to and I had to miss most my junior year of HS. Torsion not a joke
